This thesis examines the concept of righteousness in the Gospel of Matthew. The research explores the literal meanings and theological functions of the noun ?righteousness? and the adjective ?righteous? through a descriptiveand comparative study of all the pericopes which include these words. The research also includes relevant information about the historical context of the text as well as the central theological themes which relate to the subject.In the research on the literal meanings, it seems that both words primarily occur in ethical teaching and that the concept of righteousness in Matthew is closely related to humanconduct (e.g. Matt 5:20; 6:1).

Upp till 15 % (Statistiska centralbyrån, 2005) av barnen i Sverige har en utländsk bakgrund. Detta innebär bl. a. att andelen elever med en annan språklig och kulturell bakgrund kommer att öka. Det är därför angeläget att lärare utvecklar en kompetens att undervisa barn och ungdomar som har ett annat modersmål än svenska.I detta arbete kommer jag att fokusera på att göra en genomgång av litteratur som innefattar matematikundervisningen med fokus på andraspråkselever.

This thesis purpose is to determine an explanation of the efficiency in a labour-market related project. ?Enter? is an EU-financed project with a focus on long-term unemployed workers in the district Härlanda, Gothenburg. Starting in September 2004, Enter offers individually based coaching and job guidance to totally 110 young persons with problems entering the labour market. The goal is to provide these people courage to find either full or part time employment or to start study.

This essay is about integration of theoretical subjects and practical subjects at the vocational training education in a Swedish Upper secondary school. The purpose of the essay was to examine if integration of the subjects increases the students` motivation for, interest in and knowledge of the subject Swedish. Other purposes were to examine how the teachers organize their teaching of Swedish in order to adjust it to the students? interests and to examine the students? attitude towards Swedish as a subject.The essay also describes the recent development of the vocational training education of Swedish Upper secondary school and presents theories about learning and other examinations about teaching of theoretical subjects at the vocational training education.The examination carried through with a questionnaire which was distributed to the students at three programs at the school and interviews with the headmaster and two teachers. The result of the study showed that a small majority of the students believe that integration increases their motivation in and knowledge of Swedish.

The aim of this work is to examine how a number of class teachers reason about and find their work while teaching students who have reading and writing difficulties / dyslexia. The empirical study was intended to answer the question based on three questions.The work is based on a qualitative method as empirical material gathered in semi-structured interviews. Six classroom teachers, one male and five female teachers were interviewed. The interviewees were from six different schools in Stockholm Municipality and were between 27-61 years old.Most of the classroom teachers feel that there are approximately 4-5 students with reading and writing difficulties / dyslexia in each class. Half of the teachers feel that students with dyslexia may be different as they are quiet, unsecure and shy.

The aim of this study is investigating how some Elementary School teachers of special classes describe how they use iPad as an educational tool when teaching Swedish. To find out I have carried out an interview investigation. I have analyzed results using theoretical concepts from the sociocultural perspective, scaffolding and artefacts.The cummulative result shows that teachers describe that they practice linguistic consciousness and that pupils are trained in writing Swedish in this subject. Another result shows how all teachers describe that they work face-to-face with pupils using iPads in Swedish lessons. Further results show how teachers present possibilities of using iPad as an educational tool when teaching Swedish.

Uppsatsen har sin grund i att studera medias tillgänglighet inom fildelningsnätverk då specifikt DC och BitTorrent. Undersökningen består av en kvantitativ studie av fildelningsnätverk som byggde på vår fråga: Hur ser medias tillgänglighet på fildelningsnätverk ut? Med frågan vill undersökningen göra en nutidsstudie om tillgänglighet av filmer, pc-spel och tv-serier på fildelningsnätverk. På så sätt bättre förstå den nutida utvecklingen av kommersiella film- och musik- tjänster, samt reflektera över om fildelningsnätverk kan ses som en komplett källa när det gäller tillgången av det undersökta materialet..

En försämring av svenska elevers läsförståelse har skett under de                                  senaste tio åren. Samtidigt som definitionen av läsförståelse är vida diskuterat vad läsförståelse innefattar eller ej. Enligt Läroplanen för grundskola, skola och fritidshem 2011 är en godtagbar läsförståelse när eleven uppvisar ett gott läsflyt och kan återberätta explicita delar ur texten. I motsatts till läroplanen menar ett flertal forskare att läsförståelse innefattar så mycket mer än ett gott läsflyt. Studien syftar till att synliggöra hur elevers läsförståelse kommer till uttryck och kan identifieras under ett litteraturarbete genom att fokusera på förmågorna läsa på raderna, mellan raderna och bortom raderna.

Studien går igenom ett flertal olika aspekter av studieteknik med utgångspunkt från en tänkt digital lärandeprocess. Dessutom diskuteras pedagogiskt mål och pedagogiska metoder relaterat till digitala plattformar..

In this study I try to answer the question what to consider when teaching about identity andreligious identity in Religious Studies at Upper Secondary Schools in Sweden. This inquiry isbased on the fact that the latest Program manuals for upper secondary school, GY11, instructsthe teachers to talk about identity and religion, while in the Curriculum for upper secondaryscool, Lpf 94, as well as the latest curriculum, SKOLFS 2011, the idea of identity seemslinked with ethnicity.With this in mind I want to clarify what might be meant with the concept of identity. Byreferring to several different identity theories I propose to illustrate the complexity of theconcept. I study gender, queer and postcolonial theory as well as different aspects of classstructure and commodification of identity, all through the perspective of intersectionality.Intersectionality is not a theory as such but a method of studying various perspectives of anissue. It is an analytical praxis of using several angles of investigation and explanationtogether, all phrased with the background of the question of power.

What is the relation between literature and philosophy and what can we learn from it? Is there something about the novel and its language, fiction and narrative that separates it from philosophical litterature? In what way is knowledge about this useful to us, and is it possible to use fiction for the understanding of philosophy?This study makes an attempt to shed some light on the by no means obviuos distinction between philosophy and literature. The aim is to understand what, if in fact there is something that separates philosophy from literature, there is about the distinction that makes it possible for us to separate the ideas in literature from philosophical ideas, and in what way we can use the novel, or fiction in its widest meaning, to understand philosophy. When teaching philosophy you´re often required to make the abstract tangible. But if there´s a misconception about the distinction in what makes philosophical literature philosophical, then maybe there is something to learn from literature, or, at least, something about the fiction and its aesthetics, that makes it easier for us to relate to and understand, for example, the theories that are debated in moral philosophy.There are some philosophers who have used the form of fiction to make their thoughts on philosophical questions understandable.

Sweden?s District councils and Country councils are in itself to a large extent responsible for the state financed welfare. Because of this, Sweden has a contribution- and adjustment system. The reason for this system is to create equal chance, for all District councils and Country councils, to be able to give the citizens service independently of their income and non-influential structural differences. Vi har gjort en fallstudie på en lärare ? L.J, i år 1 utifrån hennes svenskundervisning. I år 1 består denna undervisning mest av läs- och skrivinlärning. Hennes klasser har ofta goda resultat i olika läsförståelsetexter, och vi var nyfikna på varför. Under vår utbildning har många önskat få svar om vilken metod som är ?bäst? vad gäller läs- och skrivinlärning.

Ett arbete om åldersintegrering samt om hur lärare upplever matematikundervisningen i detta arbetssätt. Här utreds eventuella fördelar och nackdelar. Hur fungerar matematiken i den åldersintegrerade klassen? Arbetet är baserat på litteratur samt intervjuer med lärare som arbetat åldershomogent och som nu arbetar åldersintegrerat. Anledningen var att se om det fanns några skillnader, vilka dessa var samt om de var negativa eller positiva.
