This two year masters thesis is written in the scientific field of library- and information science. The purpose of the study is to investigate the collaboration between teachers and librarians in different types of school library organisations. Two school libraries with only the school as a target group, two integrated public- and school libraries, one school library division and one public library that provides the school with school library services has been studied. The study takes place in Uppland.The theoretical framework used is based on Montiel-Overall and her four models of collaboration: coordina-tion, cooperation, integrated instruction and integrated curriculum. The first research question focuses on the col-laboration between teachers and librarians based on each of the TLC-models.

AimThe aim of this study has been to examine how health enhancement teachers in Montana, USA, view the value of physical activity from a lifelong perspective.In what way does the health enhancement teacher think the importance of physical activity from a lifelong perspective could be presented?What resources are available for teachers to present the value of physical activity from a lifelong perspective?MethodThe issue has been answered through qualitative interviews consisting of six health enhancement teachers, four women and two men, in Montana, USA. One of the teachers worked at an elementary school (for 30 years), three teachers worked at middle schools (20, 10 and 8 years of work experience) and two of the teachers interviewed worked at a high school (30 and 3 years).  ResultsThe majority of teachers feel that a wide variety of activities, adapted to an individual level, and the understanding of a healthy lifestyle are important in order for the teacher to present the value of physical activity from a lifelong perspective.The teachers felt they had sufficient material in order to present the value of physical activity, where the school budget provided the teachers with materials every year. In addition to the budget, all the teachers had 12 hours of professional development every year where they could attend conferences or their own choice of professional development.ConclusionWith the help in forms of professional development offered by the school, conferences, meeting with other teachers, and their own choice of development, the teachers instruction techniques could increase which could help the teachers to find the pupils? interest for different kinds of physical activities.KeywordsPhysical education and health, physical activity, SOC, sense of coherence..

Studiens syftar till att undersöka elevers uppfattningar om matematik och matematikundervisning. Arbetet består av en litteraturgenomgång och en empirisk del där intervjuer med åtta elever ingår.Både den teoretiskaoch den empiriska delen behandlar tre områden. Dessa områden är: - Varför har vi matematik i skolan? - Vad är matematik?- Hur bedrivs matematikundervisning? Den teoretiska studien beskriver frågeställningarna utifrån hur forskare, författare och lärare ser på det. Inom denna del inryms även en beskrivning om hur undervisning skulle kunna se ut i praktiken.

Tidigare undersökningar visar att nästan nio av tio gymnasieskolor använder sig av produkter från en dominerande aktör, nämligen Microsoft. Syftet med vår studie var att undersöka varför svenska gymnasieskolan inte använder sig av alternativ såsom öppen källkod och fri programvara i större utsträckning. Vi valde att avgränsa oss till att studera till den vanligast förekommande programvaran, såsom operativsystem, kontorsprogram och webbläsare. Vidare valde vi att lägga fokus på de datorer som står till elevernas förfogande. Vi genomförde en kvalitativ undersökning, baserad på intervjuer med respondenter som representerar 10 kommuner i Skåne län.

According to TCO (The Swedish Confederation for Professional Employees) the worst threat to the Swedish welfare is that so many people because of bad health and unemployment are not a part of the labour force. If Sweden could make the number of people with health and unemployment problems half the size as today, the GDP would increase with more than five percent. In real money this means 110 billion Swedish kronor a year. According to SCB (Statistics Sweden) the difference between women?s and men?s absence owing to illness should be investigated more closely in order to get at better understanding of the problem.

Syftet med denna studie är att studera elevers svårigheter i hanterandet av matematikuppgifter gällande omkrets och area samt att undersöka hur elevers kunskaper motsvarar kursplanens uppnående- och strävansmål. Kvalitativt inriktade intervjuer har använts som undersökningsmetod, då studiens huvudsakliga syfte har varit att på djupet undersöka och ge exempel på elevers förståelse. Elevsvaren har analyserats utifrån hur representationsformer, begreppsuttryck och innehåll används gällande omkrets, area och kursplanens mål. This report fits in the Master program of Internet Technology at School of Engineering in Jönköping University in Sweden.The question at issue was how you protect your information against different threats. Syftet med vår studie är att undersöka vad lärare bedömer och vad de upplever vara väsentligt att elever lär sig i matematik. Vi har utgått från aktuell litteratur som vi bedömt som relevant för vårt arbete. Vi har gjort kvalitativa intervjuer med åtta lärare i den kommunala skolan som arbetar i olika samhällen. Intervjusvaren har vi kategoriserat för att resultatet ska bli mer lättöverskådligt. Vi har analyserat svaren och kommit fram till att lärarna är mycket läromedelsbundna.

Title: Creativity and blockings: Non-musicians? experiences of music making The purpose of this study was to investigate whether the ability of music-making can benefit from and/or be inhibited by extra-musical factors, such as one's own or other people's opinions, criticism, prejudice and values. An experiment was carried out, where 10 nonmusicians were instructed to solve a compositional problem (writing pieces of music to a picture) which had been expressed in two different ways, one of which (A) was intended to block creativity and the other (B) to facilitate the creative process. All subjects also had to answer a questionnaire, where their experiences in connection with the task and their attitudes towards music and composition were mapped. The result was that all subjects succeeded in composing one or more pieces of music, regardless of which instruction they had been given.

Introduktion: Vårdrelaterade infektioner är vanliga och kan leda till ökade kostnader, långvarig sjukhusvistelse och ökad lidande för patienter. Ett sätt att förhindra detta är att duscha med klorhexidin före operation. Det är sjuksköterskans ansvar att informera patienten om den preoperativa duschen, kontrollera att patienten uppfattat informationen och har möjlighet och resurser att följa den. Metod: En kvalitativ deskriptiv intervjustudie med semistrukturerade frågor.

Differences between groups or individuals in a society with regards to access to information and communication technologies (ICTs) are known as the digital divide. The digital divide pertains to differences in physical access to computers and the Internet as well as knowledgein using technology. Important factors affecting the digital divide are disabilities, age, gender, socioeconomical background, ethnicity and geography. The digital divide appears on several levels: internationally, nationally, regionally and locally. Individuals who, for some reason, have limited or no access to information and communication technologies risk, among other things, to experience social exclusion.
