Kommunikationsproblem och bemötande inom referenssamtalet
This bachelor thesis is about communication problems and treatment during the reference interview. The purpose was to investigate the reasons of why users? information needs are not always understood by the librarian and what to do about it. I have also investigated what kind of skills that can be useful for librarians to have and how a librarian can act in a way that makes the user feel welcome during the reference interview. The method I used was a literature study and an own study through interviews of library users.
Hur kan elever bli delaktiga i bedömningsarbetet? Lärares syn på möjligheter och problem i praktiken
Sammanfattning
I denna uppsats undersöker jag i kvalitativa intervjuer med tre lärare, på vilket sätt elever i svenska grundskolor (årskurs 7-9) deltar i bedömningsarbetet, och vilka olika problem som lärare upplever i samband med detta. Resultaten visar att de mest framträdande svårigheterna anses vara tidsbristen, och problem i samband med elevers förutsättningar. Tydligt är dock att
orsaker till många av dessa problem redan finns grundlagda i arbetet med styrdokumenten och skolorganisationen. Lösningen på många av problemen kan vara utom lärarnas räckvidd, medan andra problem kan minska på längre sikt genom lärares och elevers ökade träning i bedömningsarbetet. En skolutveckling i riktning mot ett ökat elevdeltagande i bedömningen kräver att lärare tydligt kommunicerar med varandra och med eleverna, samt feedback till skolledning och forskning, så att kraven på lärarna kan bli realistiska och arbetsbördan rimlig..
Skolans organisering och pedagogiska arbete med svenska som andraspråk : ur ett lärarperspektiv
Research has shown that students with another mother tongue than Swedish terminate elementary school with lower grades in all subjects, compared to students having Swedish as a mother tongue. This fact justifies further research on the forms of teaching Swedish as a second language. Attention has been given to the fact that the students with another mother tongue than Swedish have to cope with "dual learning". Parallel to the learning of a second language they need to obtain knowledge in all other subjects. The purpose of this thesis is to investigate how the School organise the work with students having another mother tongue than Swedish, and to find out how teachers in other subjects solve the problem of having students that struggle with "dual learning".

The purpose of this study is to highlight some aspects of the increased usage of tablets in preschool environments by answering the questions: what does the tablet become in the preschool environment, how much freedom does the children have over its usage.To answer these questions a series of observations were made at two different preschools. The observations were then complemented by interviews with teachers at the same preschools.This qualitative study focuses on some of the didactic questions regarding the tablets, based on a theoretical framework that is within the design-oriented perspective; which addresses the children's? autonomy, the institutional framework and affordance.Our conclusion is that the tablet?s introduction in the preschool has helped the teachers in numerous parts of their documentation, but we can also see that the children's opportunities to make choices regarding the tablet are more limited than with any other resource on the preschool. In our results we also see that when the children get access to the tablet they receive a learning experience, which among other things, strengthens their language skills and their social interaction with each other..
Socialarbetares syn på datorspelande ungdomar : En intervjustudie om socialarbetares problematisering av ett nytt fenomen
The purpose of our study is to describe and understand whether, and if so, how social workers in school and in social services construct computer gaming adolescents as a social problem. We chose social workers who encounter adolescents with different problems. We have conducted qualitative interviews with vignettes to capture the social workers' reasoning about computer gaming adolescents and how they handle this in their work. The study shows that all social workers we interviewed had encountered adolescents with troubling computer gaming habits. In the study, all agree that computer gaming becomes a problem when it leads to deviant behaviour such as not going to school, staying up all night and so on.
Läkemedelsreklam - källa till läkemedelsrelaterade problem?
Reklamen tar allt större plats i samhället, så även läkemedelsreklam för receptfria produkter. Allmänheten har dock inte alltid tillräcklig bakgrundskunskap för att tillgodogöra sig informationen. Detta har visat sig kunna resultera i missförstånd av reklam med konsekvenser som felaktiga val, liksom felaktig läkemedelsanvändning. Syftet med examensarbetet var att utläsa i vilken omfattning läkemedelsreklam kan vara en källa till läkemedelsrelaterade problem, utröna var missförstånden uppkommer, vilken typ av problem som är vanligast samt hur man bäst kan förebygga missförstånden. Undersökningen genomfördes under februari-mars 2005, genom en kundenkät respektive en personalenkät.

The present study deals with the importance of play for children's learning in preschool. The purpose is to investigate the importance of play for children's learning in preschool from a pedagogue?s perspective. The study is based on two issues: How does the pedagogue´s who were interviewed reason about the impact the play has on children's development? How does the pedagogue´s approach to make play a learning situation? The empirical data is based on semi-structured interviews with four preschool pedagogue´s.
HTML-ramverk i praktiken : En studie av HTML-ramverk från utvecklarens perspektiv
This paper aim to present a model for evaluating what we choose to call HTML-frameworks, a framework that contains a set of CSS layouts and occasionally JavaScript support, based on the characteristics of the software quality standard ISO/IEC 9126-1. The methods used to produce this model is based on a field study that involved making a web portal with the help of a HTML-framework, some relevant literature and an analysis of the framework based on the characteristics of the ISO/IEC 9126-1 standard. The result was a model based on twelve different characteristics; functionality, web browser compatibility, collaborative skills, user-friendliness, documentation, visuals, graphic layout, performance, activity, professional support, replaceability and license. This model should be viewed upon as a suggestion to what a model for choosing HTML-framework could look like, because we haven?t had the time to test it in a real situation, so further studies are needed, and we believe there could be improvements made in the objectivity of the assessments of the characteristics..
Surfplattan : Intentioner och implementering i förskolan
The intention is to focus on the implementation of the tablet in preschools and how the intentions around the introduction of the tablet take shape in different preschools. The method is semi structured interviews where the respondents consist of 3 preschool directors and 6 teachers where the preschool directors work. This is a relevant subject to illustrate, as the tablet has become a tool in preschool where it seems to be different opinions about how it should be used. This study aims to understand how the implementation can take form in different preschools, what kind of similarities and differences we can see with the intentions of the tablet and if there is need of clarification on the workings of the tablets in preschools. The results show that the intentions around the introduction of the tablet in preschool look different in the preschools, and the implementation of this new technology starts in a small scale with help of photographing and videotaping.
Hemlösa ungdomar - ett osynligt problem : En kvalitativ studie om avsaknaden av en enhetlig problembeskrivning
Homeless adolescents are in Sweden rather invisible, as a group. There is no established definition or description of the problem, nor any uniform terms regarding it. The purpose of this study is to investigate how four different organizations, based on their basic principles, describe the group homeless adolescents. We discuss why the organizations reason as they do, and what it leads to. In order to do so we have performed qualitative interviews with representatives from each organization.
Hela kroppen behövs för att lära! : En studie om pedagogers levda erfarenheter av att stimulera barns motoriska utveckling
The study aims to demonstrate the significance of educators lived experiences of stimulating children's physical development. It has been noted that children are occupying themselves with more and more sedentary activities, which may lead to that they do not develop motor skills at the pace expected. To understand educators lived experiences from a phenomenological hermeneutic perspective empirical relevance has been collected through narrative interviews. The results shows that educators find it difficult to understand the Curriculum goals for motor activity and that the desire to stimulate motor development is great, but the realization is conspicuous by its absence. The discussion highlights educator?s commitment and motivation and the importance of being a reflecting practitioner..

The ISO standard ISO/IEC 17799/SS-627799-2 is a guidance for organizations to
realize their information security goals. In spite of this standard, studies
show flaws regarding information security in organizations. In particular flaws
regarding overall view, knowledge and clear roles and responsibilities have
been observed.
The ISIT (Information Security Integrated Three level) model and its
guidelines, developed in this thesis, help organizations to identify the
required processes and procedures as well as the logical process flow. The
thesis is based on theoretical studies and a case study within a multinational
company.
Kan integration av nätverksresurser förenklas med hjälp av Javabaserade Jini?
Syftet med denna rapport är att undersöka om modern teknik kan åtgärda de problem som idag finns vid integration av nätverksresurser. En av grundtankarna i detta arbete är att nätverken i framtiden kommer att behöva anpassas till en mer flexibel och heterogen miljö. Anledningen till detta är att det i framtiden kommer utvecklas en rad nya produkter som ska kopplas in i nätverken.Rapporten är uppdelad i tre delar. I första delen undersöks vilka problem som finns idag vid resurshantering i nätverk. Denna undersökning gjordes med hjälp av intervjuer med ett antal systemadministratörer som har praktisk erfarenhet av sådana typer av problem.

Background: First Line Managers are expected to create a health promoting work environment. Research has shown that the prerequisites for accomplishing a health promoting leadership are not always the best. Aim: The aim was to elucidate the prerequisites for a health promoting leadership as First Line Manager at a University hospital in Sweden based on competence, role, support structures and own durability. Results: First Line Managers at the chosen hospital seems to have rather good conditions for conducting a health promoting leadership. All respondents did have a university degree and most thought that their competence corresponded well with the role.

This study hopes to provide a deeper understanding for the situation that pupils in dyslexia and special education teachers are experiencing. The aim is to examine how students with dyslexia and special education teacher / special needs education teacher are experiencing difficulties, resources, additional adjustments and support. The aim is also to examine the experience in opportunities for improvement and what similarities and differences exist between students and special education teacher / special needs education teacher regarding the allocation of resources. The study is made with focusing on a certain dilemma perspective, using methods such as interviews. The results of the study point to lack of time, time pressure, teachers 'skills, management directives and students' understanding of their own learning as factors affecting resource allocation, in which all factors influence each other and are interdependent of each other..
