This master thesis was done for a company called BRUKS which is active in woodprocessing,bio-energy and bulk material handling industry. The idea for the master thesis wasto develop a new reclaiming method for silos where wood chips are being stored. A mediumsegment of between 1000 ? 5000 m3was defined as the segment with the most sales potential.Two different concepts were produced, one for new constructions and one for rebuildingalready existing silos.In the beginning of the master thesis a lot of time was spent on visiting different BRUKSoffices and customers to get an overview of the industry and the product. This informationwas the basis when the idea generating phase began.

The aim of this thesis was to investigate if the robotized welding method FSW (Friction Stir Welding) could be applied for joining a rotating structure in an aero engine at Volvo Aero Corporation. FSW is expected to introduce less defects than today?s welding methods and could therefore be suitable for critical aero components. The material is the nickel based alloy Inconel 718, however a material experimentation is outside the scope of this report.The main goal of this study is to verify if the ESAB ROSIO robot based FSW-system has a suitable work space to be able to weld the rotating structure, and if the welding tool has accessibility to the joints. The FSW-process needs a rigid fixture, and a number of fix-ture concepts are presented based on a proposed weld sequence.

Det empiriska materialet grundas i tio nyktramissbrukares livsberättelser, med vilka vi kommit i kontakt med genom organisationen VågaVa. Parallellt med vårt huvudsyfte vill vi också spegla denna stödorganisation. Den övergripande analytiska ramen diskuterar social aktivitet, etik, gemenskap i förhållande till kampen mot missbruket, vi lyfter även fram vikten av stöd- och samtalsgrupperna Nyktra Narkomaner och 12-stegsprogrammet. My objective for this project was to create a short but thrilling 2D-animation intended as promotion for an online comic book. The purpose of the project was to learn more about animation and graphics, to further my artistic skills and to learn how to work in Adobe After Effects. I also wanted to learn more about scheduling, project methods and how to handle stress. During the ten weeks of the project I have created the story, the storyboard, the character design, the backgrounds and the animation. The voice over was recorded with the help of a fellow student who also made the music and the sound effects.

Detta examensarbete visar resultatet av en undersökning om hur språklärare i engelska, franska och tyska på gymnasieskolan använder sig av autentiskt material i undervisningen och hur de tror att detta påverkar eleverna.En kvalitativ forskningsmetod har använts och därefter har resultaten analyserats med ad hoc-metoden.Resultaten visade att nästan samtliga lärare blandade läroböcker och autentiskt material i sin undervisning för att ge variation. Den främsta anledningen till detta var att lärarna upplever att elevernas motivation ökar dåundervisningen varieras och om eleverna kan se en viss verklighetsanknytning. Vissa skillnader mellan språken påvisades, då engelsklärarna i större grad uppgav att de använde autentiskt material i undervisningen. Lärare ityska och franska menade oftare att brist på material och elevernas kunskapsnivå förhindrade arbetet med autentiskt material. Lärarna påpekade även att kursplanen inte hade någon påverkan gällande materialet, utan attdet var varje lärares beslut att ta..

This paper discuss the possibilities to improve the Swedish political nomination system. It brings up some of the values and norms that can be used to change the existing system. Values as openness, the demand of responsibility and also if there is values from the American spoils system that can be used in the Swedish system. A minor purpose is to discuss the part of the parliament within the nomination process. To investigate this I have some theoretical starting points and a self constructed analysis tool.

The aim of this thesis is to examine the properties of the municipalities in Sweden that influence the choice of being a certified Fairtrade city. The independent variables which are used in the statistical analysis are municipal governance, local tax rate, whether there is an university and/or university college in the municipality, average income and higher education in the municipality. The variables are examined by logistic regression. Since there are no statistical data on ethical procurement, this exogenous variable isn?t included in the regression.

Authorities, municipalities and county councils have great opportunities to pave the way to a sustainable society. In the public sector, the tax revenue is used and therefore it is important that both employees and societal stakeholders feel that they participate in the sector?s decisions and fields of application. Municipalities and county councils are primarily service organisations. The employees? commitment is necessary to be able to reach set goals, to develop procedures and policies that support the overall political goals, in other words, to be successful in the environmental work.

The debate in the media on a new Swedish sex education movie sparked our interest in this study. The twenty-eight minutes long movie ?Sex on the map? is the first of it?s kind in twenty-five years. It is also part of a bigger sex educational project that contains, apart from the movie, a book about sex education, a documentary and a teachers guide. The project is a co-production between the Swedish Educational Broadcasting Company (UR) and the Swedish Association for Sexuality Education (RFSU).We were interested in how teachers received information about the project, and what their attitudes were towards it.

When harvesteing ley there is always mechanical losses from the harvest machines. During the last years the roundbalers with knives,cutting the material-are more common, This use increase the mechanical losses of material. MATERIALS AND METHODS The roundbaler which used in this test was a Krone Vario Pack 1500 Multi Cut. This roundbaler has 17 knives. The theoretical length of cut was 64 mm. During the test we stretched a rubber tarp under the balechamber and collected the materials which fell down from the balechamber.

Undersökningen hade som syfte att studera för- och nackdelar med att arbeta med konkret material som förstärkning i matematikundervisningen. För att utforska detta utfördes dels lärarformulär för att se hur lärare såg på ämnet. Dels utfördes två olika typer av lektionspass, ett teoretiskt och ett praktiskt. Under lektionspassen observerades eleverna och deras beteenden antecknades. Inhämtade kunskaper mättes sedan i ett kunskapsprov.
