Aim: The aim of this study was to examine health professionals´ experiences of giving advice regarding sleep to parents of infants and to perform and evaluate an intervention in the form of introducing information about the sleep of infants.Method: The study was designed as an intervention study with a qualitative approach where data was collected from two focus groups in the form of interviews. The intervention consisted of the information material Sugen på sömn. There were five participants whom three of them participated in the second interview. The interviews were processed by content analysis.Results: Health professionals´ experience of giving advice on sleep was summarized in three themes. The experiences of giving advice in interaction with parents, health professional themselves experienced the power to influence the parents with the advice they gave, while the parents' previous experience and knowledge impacted on how the advice came into practice.

Att lärare utför merparten av arbetet i relation till andra människor kan tänkas skapa särskilda villkor för arbetet. Artikeln avses att belysa användbarheten hos artikelns fyra empiriska material vid studier av relationsarbetets villkor. Särskilt intresse ägnas åt organiseringen av de delar av arbetet som innefattar en lärare-elev-relation. Materialen omfattar tretton lärare inom specialpedagogisk verksamhet från grundskolans tidigare år till gymnasieskolan. Analysbegreppen är kommunikation, notistagande samt aspekterna avsikt, tid och rum.

The main purpose of this essay is to examine if it is possible to identify farms of ?forest Finnish? people in Sweden, by means of an archaeological analysis, comparing the forest Finnish settlement with known none-forest Finnish settlements. This study is based on material excavated from the farms of Grannäs, and Råsjö, in the Swedish provinces of Jämtland and Medelpad. Both farms are dated to the 17th and 18th century. The study itself is divided into three parts, firstly a general study to get an overview of the material, secondly a study of ceramics as an attempt to discern social status and lastly a study of the animal bone material for analyzing the forest Finns? livestock and possible hunting habits.

Studiens syfte är att undersöka fenomenet döda djur och djurkroppar i konst, hantverk och design, och lyfta fram på vilket sätt döda djur används och hur användandet kan tolkas och förstås. Teorin belyser relationen djur och människa ur historiskt perspektiv, hur djur framställts inom konsten, samt den etiska aspekten. Metod och material består i en analys utifrån texter och medier, och en kvalitativ intervju med Märta Mattsson, som skapar smycken av främst insekter. Studien visar på att djur har varit symbol för många olika saker som mod, tapperhet, häxkonst och erotik.

Today there is no way of measuring or simulating turbulent flow in high Reynolds numberenvironments. The computational power required to simulate these conditions is not expectedto be available for several decades so instead the CICLoPE project aims at solving thisshortage by the construction of a long carbon fiber wind tunnel in which real measurementscan be made. To do accurate measurements it is of importance that the wind tunnel, 0.9 metersin diameter and 110 meters long, is as straight as possible.This master thesis treat the design and construction of a device which may be used to align thetunnel along a reference laser beam. A design is presented which allows the pipe to be alignedwithin about a quarter of a millimeter along its entire length. Contents span over severalscience fields such as physics, mechanics, control theory and electronics.The result is a theoretically correct design.

Under lärarutbildningen utvecklades mina idéer om varierande undervisningsmetoder för problemlösning. Då jag utförde min praktik fick jag uppleva hur arbete i en matematikverkstad kunde stimulera högstadieelevernas intresse för problemlösning samt stödja deras förmåga att lösa problem. Trots utveckling av varierande undervisning i matematik visar utvärderingar att ?enskild tyst räkning? fortfarande är dominerande på matematiklektionerna. Enligt rapporter från bland annat skolverket skapar sådan tyst räkning ointresse för ämnet och misslyckande för många elever.

Aim: The aim of this paper was to investigate whether scientific evidence exists to improve, of students? perceived, insufficient infection control in isolation facilities in companion animal hospitals in Sweden. Material and methods: A question was emailed to the students in the last year of the animal nursing program at SLU in the spring 2012 to get their view of perceived insufficient infection control. A literature study was thereafter preformed using the search engine Web of Knowledge. Results: The students reported several perceived shortcomings which were divided into five categories: basal hygiene, isolation routines, cleaning and disinfection, patient flow and other. Studies supporting that the shortcomings perceived by the students also exist in human health care and to some extent in animal clinics and hospitals were found. Furthermore, scientific evidence that improved hand hygiene, glove procedures and cleaning and disinfection reduces the risk of nosocomial infections in humans was reported. Conclusion: There is not a lot of research performed in the area of infection control in animal nursing.

Det här arbetet har utförts hos Atlas Copco AB i Örebro. Arbetet innebar att komma med nya idéer till hur så kallade segment kan utformas. Segment är en kropp av gummi som har urtag där borrstänger kan lagras. Resultatet av arbetet blev att ett alternativt material i armerad PTFE kunde presenteras. Projektet startade med att upprätta en kravspecifikation för ett alternativt material för att därefter göra ett materialval utifrån kravspecifikationen.

I denna rapport redogörs arbetsprocessen för utvecklandet av vår produkt. Produkten är ett material vars syfte är att underlätta för pedagoger att komma igång med pedagogisk dokumentation som arbetssätt för uppföljning, utvärdering och utveckling i förskolan. Att det finns ett behov för vårt material kan vi se i vår enkätundersökning som ger oss svar på både vilket behov av produkten som finns och vilken typ av innehåll i ett sådant material som skulle vara till hjälp för pedagogerna. Vidare visar Skolinspektionens tillsyn av förskolor att pedagoger har svårigheter i arbetet med uppföljning, utvärdering och utveckling vilket tyder på att ett behov av ett material som underlättar arbetet med uppföljning, utvärdering och utveckling finns hos pedagogerna (Skolinspektionen, 2014). För att produkten ska rikta sig till en bredare målgrupp har vi medvetet valt att kombinera en utvecklingspedagogisk syn på dokumentation med en Reggio Emilia-inspirerad syn i både rapporten och produkten.

Bakgrund:Friedrich Fröbel grundade tyska Kindergarten som motsvarar den svenska förskolan. För att främja barns utveckling menade han att de vuxna skulle ansvara för utformningen av miljön och tillgodose deras behov. Materialet är en förutsättning för att barnen ska utvecklas, det skall vara utmanande och väcka intresse. Materialet blir pedagogiskt i samspel med människan och hur man använder materialet har betydelse för om lärande skall kunna ske.Syfte:Syftet är att undersöka hur sex förskollärare i två olika förskolor menar att de skapar en pedagogisk miljö som främjar barns lärande.Metod:Vid vår datainsamling har vi använt oss av kvalitativ intervju med öppna frågor för att få utvecklade och relevanta svar. Vi har intervjuat pedagoger, för att ta reda på hur de uppfattar den fysiska miljön i förskolan och hur viktig den är för barns lärande.

 My field is Korpus and in this project I am investigating what role that plays for me as an artist connected to craft. To really get close to, and understand Korpus I have deconstructed it to find clues to why the silversmithing field looks like it does and how we got here. I believe Korpus has not yet come out of the closet for what it really can be. That it carries a great heritage of traditions and preconceptions that it would do well to shake off a little bit of. Can Korpus as an art field really survive in Sweden, where the Church has no power and silverware is no longer a need to demonstrate ones economic prosperity at an important dinner party? To help myself get closer to these objects I have given my own definition of Korpus.

In an attempt to prevent ground damage and to reduce harvesting costs, StoraEnso's districts Värmbodal and Fryken, selected a number of final felling areas where the base roads have been marked by planners in the districts. The parties involved in the experiment are mainly planners, harvester operators and forwarder operators. The purpose of this paper is to determine the findings of this trial and to find cost savings or lost revenue. This has been done with a sample of interviews from the involved parties who logged the chosen felling areas. Literature about the interview process has been used to facilitate data collection, interpretation and analysis of the material. If we look at profitability based on assumed income and expenditure, revenue per MWh would be 63 SEK.

Today's fierce competition means that companies constantly must develop their business and internal processes. Focus on processes and continuous improvement is something that characterizes Lean Production which ICA logistics are applying with their concept Leading Logistics. Standardized routines for handling damaged gods were insufficient at the ICA distribution center in Kungälv. Handling and registration of damaged gods were not performed uniformly, resulting in problems with controlling and monitoring the process.The purpose of this thesis was to analyze and make recommendations how the process of internal handling of damaged gods could be improved. Therefore a comprehensive understanding was needed of the entire Material flow through the warehouse and important quality aspects such as product safety and delivery reliability.The methods used are literature reviews, interviews and observations to produce a comprehensive process mapping of the current situation at the distribution center.
