Background: Studies have shown that 66 children and teenagers in Sweden suffers from brain tumor every year. Children and teenagers who can´t participate in the regular school for a longer time for whatever reason, have by the school law the right to education in hospitals or institutions. Education that take place in other places than school most try to follow the same guidelines as his/hers usual school.  This applies to students in elementary school, compulsory school, special school, Sami school, secondary school and upper secondary school.Purpose:  The purpose of this study was to find out how three teachers at a hospital school plans their work with children in grade from 1 to 3, who suffer from cancer, especially brain tumor.  How can the teachers at the hospital school plan and organize their teaching so that it´s possible for the children whit brain tumor to feel as normal as possible. How does the common work between the consultant nurse, teachers at the hospitals and their ordinary school prevent the children to feel like an outsider?Method: I have chosen to do a qualitative study followed by three interviews whit three informants who works at a hospital school.

Inledning: Det har blivit allt vanligare att företag driver sin verksamhet i projektform. Projektarbetet har fått större betydelse och är vanligt förekommande inom industri och förvaltning. Studiens fallföretag är Södra Cell Mörrum som är verksamt inom processindustrin. Inom företaget bedrivs projekt på daglig basis med varierande storlek. Södra Cell Mörrum har stött på problem i deras projektstyrning gällande säkerställandet av kunskapsöverföring mellan projekt.

Nedbrytningshastigheten för organiskt material i marken kan komma att förändras vid varmare klimat. I dagsläget råder dock oenighet om hur nedbrytningen av organiskt material kommer att reagera på förändrade temperaturer; forskningsrapporter pekar åt olika håll. För att kunna förutsäga framtida scenarier är det viktigt att vi får kunskap om hur organiskt material kan komma att påverkas. Om koncentrationen av koldioxid i atmosfären ökar och den globala medeltemperaturen stiger kan nedbrytningshastigheten för organiskt material öka. Detta kan leda till en positiv feedback loop där mer koldioxid avgår från marken till atmosfären.

This study was made for the round wood transport company MT Transport AB. Time studies were made in order to analyze time consumption on the mill site for timber trucks delivering round wood at the Södra Cell Mörrum mill. The most interesting was to see how much of the time spent at the factory that was waiting time. In three weeks the study was going on and the drivers were clocking it themselves..

Denna rapport sammanfattar det examensarbete som utförts 2012 på kandidatnivå av Erika Dahlström och Josefin Hult på Mälardalens Högskola i Eskilstuna. Examensarbetet har utförts i samarbete med ÅF Technology AB i Västerås.Projektets idé uppstod i ett tidigare fiktivt högskoleprojekt där tanken om ett vindkraftverk skulle vara intressant för privatpersoner kom till. Detta projekt har vidareutvecklat denna tanke och projektet har då utvecklats till att syfta till att undersöka om det finns en marknad för miniverk i byggsatsform avsett för privatpersoner, vad marknaden efterfrågar samt utveckla och konstruera en miniverksmast. Ett miniverk är ett vindkraftverk som vanligtvis inte behöver bygglov.För att kunna besvara hur marknaden ser ut har omfattande research utförts samt en marknadsundersökning. Från researchen sågs att det finns liknande befintliga produkter vilket innebar att projektets syfte gick från att konceptutveckla ett helt miniverk till att differentiera vår produkt från konkurrenternas.

Rapporten avhandlar modelleringen av en befintlig industribyggnad och dess tillvägagångssätt. I rapporten har även utredningar och studier granskats kring neutrala filformat, laserscanning och byggprocessen i allmänhet då dessa omnämnda ämnen går hand i hand och utgör fundamenten i modellerings-projekt. Projektet som författarna modellerade var det befintliga renseriet på Södra Cell i Mönsterås. Intervjuer som kontinuerligt utförts med berörda personer framgår under genomförande delen..

Equine cutaneous melanomas arise much more often in horses with a grey coat color than in horses of other colors. Some scientists have in different studies come to the conclusion that the melanomas are neoplasms which can be classified by examining their histological and macroscopic features. The more defined and demarcated a tumor is, the more benign it tends to be. Other scientists believe that the skin lesions are the result of a pigmentation disorder that is linked to the greying of the coat color. According to this theory, the lesions are not malignant although they have the ability to metastasize.

Studies of modern communication media such as Cell Phones and so called Instant Messengers are popular today. This study focused on these modern techniques, focused on parents as a target group and on what is important for them in everyday communication.By exploratory using three focus groups it became clear that the children, and the link to them was the absolute most important thing for the parents. It became clear that this link to a great extent today exists through the mobile phone.In a following study a Mobile Instant Messenger called My Friends was introduced. It was used by two families during two weeks to see how it would change the communication within the family. The focus was to see how problems with availability were handled, it turned out that:My friends had a more obvious way of indicating availability than the Cell Phone had.

In the world we live in today the environmental issues has become increasingly important, and we have begun to realize that we can not continue to use fossil fuels at the rate we do. When it comes to generating electricity we are constantly trying to come up with cleaner and more efficient solutions. The fuel celltechnology is one such alternative and has been around for over 100 years. Yet, it is not until now that the world has started to notice this great technology. The fuel cell has been developed in several areas and can today be used for handheld electronics, vehicles and small settlements.

Denna studie undersöker hur stressfaktorer påverkar kroppen vid dykning i gruva. Undersökningen genomfördes under en helgs intensivt dykande, för att bestämma lungkapacitet, pulsnivå samt eventuell vätske- och viktförlust hos dykarna. Testerna bestod av vägning, spirometritester och pulsmätningar. Testpersonerna dök mellan ett till tre dyk under helgen. Två av det totala antalet dyk var på 74 meters djup, resterande dyk genomfördes på 36 meters djup.

The purpose of the present study was to investigate the cow-level association between acute hoof lesions and the somatic milk cell count in dairy cattle. Cows from three loose-housed Swedish dairy herds were enrolled in the study if they had an acute hoof lesion treated by a veterinarian or professional hoof trimmer during the preceding year, according to farmer records. Studied lesions were sole ulcer, dermatitis, interdigital necrobacillosis and hoof abscess, in each case causing lameness. For each hoof-diseased cow, 0 to 3 healthy cows were included, matched with respect to herd, breed, parity and lactation stage. Cell counts were obtained from monthly test recordings from one month before to three months after the hoof-lesion diagnosis, and log-transformed.

AbstractThe market?s demand to purchase more cost effective products is continuously increasing. The producers are forced to become more efficient and flexible with resources to produce high quality products at a low cost in order to maintain or increase market shares. With this in mind Isaberg Rapid AB is requesting a project to increase efficiency in the assembly cell of hammertackers. The company has found in Kaizen-events that there is a potential of efficiency improvements in the assembly group that has not been achieved.The objective with this paper is to identify the major factors that influence the efficiency in the assembly cell for hammertackers.

En mobil kameraövervakningslösning är idealiskt att ha när tillfällig övervakning måste ske, på t.ex. Båtklubbar, Hamnar, Byggarbetsplatser, Inhägnade uppställningsplatser, Parkeringar, Event m.fl. Det som sker idag då dessa platser ska övervakas är att en fast mast ställs dit med hjälp av en lastbil med kran eller att kamerorna sätts upp på befintliga byggnader. I dagsläget finns ingen tillräckligt mobil helhetslösning för den här typen av övervakning i Sverige..

The company System Andersson is developing systems for controlling materials and production in industries. They want to add a new service, where parts of those systems are accessible through cell phones.In this paper we are investigating which technology are best suited for this kind of application. And then we describe how we are developing a prototype fort this application, based upon that technology. After investigating technologies such as Java ME, Microsoft Silverlight, and web applications we settled upon building the system as a web application, customized for a mobile environment.To build a web page which is readable by many different cell phones we use the markup-languages which are developed for cell phones. We put much effort in reading about the standards and recommendations for the mobile web, produced by the organizations W3C and OMA.
