Över 80 procent av världens befolkning drabbas någon gång i livet av ryggsmärta. Människor som lever med ryggsmärta kan drabbas av sänkt livskvalitet, smärta ångest och sömnproblematik. Massage är en alternativ behandlingsmetod som påverkar kroppen på flera sätt. Syftet med litteraturstudien var att belysa hur massage påverkar patienter med ryggsmärta. Metoden var en litteraturstudie.

The purpose of this paper is to examine what opinions parents have of the after school-centre, if they know that it has an objective and what that objective is. This will be examined by surveying parents with children in after school-centre. The questions posed in the study are as follows: Do parents know the objective of after school-centre? What is the general view of after school-centre among parents? The results show that 41 percent know that there is an objective while 39 percent don't. Only 6 percent can describe what the objective is.

Vi har i vårt examensarbete undersökt om elevers motivation för skolarbetet kan förbättras, genom att införa regelbundna massagestunder i undervisningen. Vårt utvecklingsarbete genomfördes i en år sexa med 18 elever, sju flickor och elva pojkar. Under våra sju praktikveckor (undantag från den första praktikveckan) införde vi massage byggd på riktiga massagegrepp, en till två gånger per vecka i cirka 40-60 minuter per tillfälle. Vi kom fram till vårt resultat genom att låta eleverna svara på två enkäter ? en i början och en i slutet av praktiken.

?Barn som masserar slår inte varandra?, denna klyscha har vi ett flertal gånger hört cirkulera inom förskola och skola men även ute i samhället, via media och allmänna debatter. Dessa ord inspirerade oss till att ta reda på om taktil massage kan ge några effekter på barn i förskoleåldern. I litteraturgenomgången redogörs från massagens historia till dagens aktuella forskning inom ämnet som sedan kopplas till förskolans styrdokument Lpfö98. Efter litteraturgenomgången ställs problempreciseringen om massagens effekter kan ha någon betydelse för barns sociala utveckling i förskoleåldern.

The purpose of this essay was to find out whether the students, which had moved from the school of Gustaf Adolf to the school of Elineberg, had been integrated into their new environment. We chose to analyze the degree of integration concerning their schoolwork, how they interacted with the students from the new school, the school of Elineberg, and their level of wellbeing in their new school. We have used two methods, surveys and interviews, to be able to obtain the general picture of how the integration of the students has succeeded.Our conclusions are that the student has adapted well in their new school despite many obstacles along the way. Our essay shows that the students get along well with their new school friends during class, but they don´t socialise in their spear time. Although they seem to have accepted the closure of their old school some students express that they wish the school would be reopened.

Under de senaste 20 åren har massage använts flitigt av användare inom det komplementärmedicinska området. Idrottare kan drabbas av träningsvärk både efter träning och tävling och det kan förhindra prestationen. I tidigare studier där det undersökts om massage kan hjälpa mot träningsvärk är resultaten splittrade. De delade resultaten kan bero på olika faktorer men en faktor kan vara instruktionerna massörer får från utbildningsmaterial. Syftet med studien är att utvärdera isolerad specifik instruktion av idrottsmassage från utbildningsmaterial har effekt på återhämtning från träningsvärk.

Bakgrund: Cancer är en allvarlig och ibland livshotande sjukdom som kan innebära ett stort lidande för den drabbade. Lidandet kan vara såväl fysiskt, psykiskt, socialt som andligt/existentiellt. Vanliga fysiska och psykiska symptom vid cancersjukdom kan vara smärta, illamående, ångest, nedstämdhet/depression, samt sömnsvårigheter. Massage och beröring tillhör de alternativa och komplementära behandlingsmetoder som användes inom omvårdnad för att trösta, lugna och ge lindring åt patienter med svåra sjukdomstillstånd. Massage- och beröringstekniker användes inom flera olika områden t.ex.

The purpose with this study is to examine school-leaders?, school-librarians? and teachers? expectations and aims for their school-libraries at two different schools in the city of Växjö. The study is based on these five questions:· How do school-leaders, school-librarians and teachers think about learning?· What function does the school-library have?· What roles do school-leaders, school-librarians and teachers have in the school-library?· How do school-leaders, school-librarians and teachers experience the co-operation in the school-library?· How would school-leaders, school-librarians and teachers wish that the co-operation should be?To be able to answer these questions I have done thirteen qualitative interviews and studied literature relevant to the subject. Three different theories are used as a theoretical framework; the traditional perspective, individual constructivism and social constructivism.

This study is an attempt to shed light on problems and possibilities of the school library of the Swedish comprehensive school concerning library law and goals of the school and the school library. Many investigations about the role of the school library of the comprehensive school have been carried through. They have all more or less come to the same conclusions. In spite of Swedish library law and goal documents of the school library, the school libraries are often neglected, if not will and commitment are to be found among teachers. Using a model of the school organisation by Gunnar Berg, three cases of school libraries are presented and analysed in a larger organisational and political perspective.

The thoughts of a common school for all children have been around since the 1800?s but was something that was introduced in Sweden first in 1962. When the curriculum for primary school came in 1980 there was a new concept, a school for all. With a school for all it was aimed that all children should have the right to participation and a common education no matter what needs they could have.During my education I have come across the concept a school for all and that is something that interested me. Today?s curricula and school laws aim to ensure that all children have the right to equal education and inclusion whatever needs you have.The purpose of this study is to find out some pedagogues? thoughts and work around the concept a school for all.

The subject of this master thesis is the school library and how we find its potential unutilized. We look at this problem in connection to the democratic assignment that the Swedish school has. The purpose is to elucidate what the democratic assignment consists of and to establish the role that the school library ought to have in this assignment. To describe the democratic assignment we examine and interpret the documents that regulate school and library activities today, including UNESCO/IFLA School Library Manifesto and United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. We use critical ideology analysis because we consider democracy to be a sort of ideology and have a critical view of how the school library is used or rather not used in school.

Bakgrund: Arbetsbelastningen inom hälso-och sjukvården har ökat och efterfrågan på grundutbildade sjuksköterskor är större än antalet som utexamineras varje år. Den höga arbetsbelastningen bidrar till att nyutexaminerade sjuksköterskor inte får den hjälp och stöd de behöver. Var tionde sjuksköterska vill avsluta sin yrkesbana efter första året. Syfte: Syftet var att belysa nyutexaminerade sjuksköterskors upplevelser av att vara ny inom professionen. Metod: Examensarbetet är en litteraturöversikt som innehåller fjorton kvalitativa vetenskapliga artiklar.

I dagens förskola och skola tenderar elevgrupperna till att bli allt större medan antalet pedagoger minskar. Uvnäs Moberg (2000) har i ett flertal studier visat på att beröring aktiverar kroppens lugn - och - ro hormoner oxytocin. Studier vid bland annat det Amerikanska Touch Research Institutet i Miami har visat att massage har en ångestdämpande, lugnande och avslappnande effekt på elever. Inlärningen och problemlösning sker för det mesta lättare efter massage. Vårt syfte är att undersöka pedagogers syn på de känslomässiga, interaktionella och kognitiva aspekterna hos eleverna som en följd av elevmassage.

The intention of this paper was to study the integration between the students from the introductory class, and the students from a regular class. The school we studied called Arlanda Gymnasium. Where we did a study on what the municipality and the school makes for students at the school to be integrated with each other. And what the school does to achieve the educational goals set. We will also see if the school and the municipality meet and comply with criteria such as school work places.

We want to search knowledge in how teachers with a focus on after-school recreation centre estimate how their own competence is used in after- school recreation center and school and what expectations/apprehensions they have on their profession in the future. In our study we have asked teachers with a focus on after-school recreation center how they estimate that their competence has been used in after-school recreation center during the last three years. The method we have used to illustrate this is the Delphi method Nordänger (2009), where we interviewed eight respondents by e-mail. From the responses, we have found that teachers with a focus on after-school recreation center experience that their skills should get more attention in the school. They want to combine care and pedagogy that supports students' physical, intellectual, social and emotional development.
