This study has the purpose of looking at the current and future position of recordlabels from a context involving the technological developments, while theopportunities for the artists are changing. As the actors inside them music industryfind themselves in an ever changing climate where traditional supply chains arethreatened by new technology, the record labels need to change the way they workin order to maintain their existence in the music industry. The study has beenconducted by interviewing a number of people involved in the music industry, byusing a qualitative method approach. The conclusion of the study shows that thetraditional way of doing business by treating music as a product that makes revenueis gone. Instead the labels have to take on new roles formerly run by third parties inorder to survive and be profitable, especially since artists can now in control ofactivities that used to be controlled by the record label..

Energy consumption is at present a major political issue, and numerous projects that comprise many nations are currently in process to increase energy efficiency and bring down energy dependency. As a member state of the EU, Sweden now faces the challenge of implementing substantial energy-saving measures until the year 2016. One of these measures is the project ?Green Islands? financed by the EU that intend on creating sustainable islands in areas around the Baltic Sea. The Archipelago Foundation leads the project that concerns the Stockholm archipelago, where focus has been placed upon decreasing energy usage in businesses and services on Utö among other islands.

The aim of this study was to compile areas of application of laserdata in forestry. Moreover to analyze costs and accessibility of laserdata. The goal was to provide private forest owners information to support assessments of possible benefits of laserdata.

Det här självständiga arbetet i militärteknik avhandlar huruvida Försvarsmakten, med i huvudsak redan befintlig materiel, genom en teknisk aktiv skyddslösning kan uppnå en förbättrad skyddsförmåga mot indirekt eld. Förmågan som söks är främst avsedd för, men inte begränsad till, att kunna nyttjas för att erhålla ett förbättrat skydd av Försvarsmaktens internationella camper. The thesis demonstrates protection solutions that can be suitable for a camp during internationalmissions in order to resist complex threats. The threats could consist of small arms, machineguns,RPG 7, anti armour missiles, mortar, artillery, HPM-weapons, car bombs, biological and chemicalweapons as well as sabotage and theft. It?s not the technology itself that makes the threat scenariocomplex it?s the way the opponent acts during the operations. The opponent acts usually incivilian clothes and therefore he is difficult to distinguish from other civilians.

This degree project is an investigation of solar cells and their ability to deliver electric power as well as reducing the need for cooling. The main object of interest is a BASE-X shelter. The shelter is purchased by the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration, FMV to be used for command and camp in the new force called Nordic Battlegroup, NBG. The demand on the equipment is firstly that it should have a small weight to be easy to transport and handle and secondly to be easy to bring up fast. Therefore the choice of solar cell technology fell on thin film cells.

The RoHS Directive was introduced in order to restrict hazardous substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment, EEE. It currently restricts the use of six hazardous substances/compounds; cadmium, lead, mercury, hexavalent chromium, PBB, and PBDE. The RoHS Directive currently includes category 1-7 and 10 in the categories of EEE listed in Annex 1A to the WEEE-Directive (Waste of EEE). The aim with the report is to investigate and elucidate prospects and obstacles to increase the scope of RoHS. This master thesis presents a Model for Evaluating and Managing Interruption Risks in connection with Business Continuity Planning (BCP), developed for Swedwood International. The model consists of a template with instructions. The model should be easily understood and useful for establishing a plan for BCP. This is achieved by including the contents and procedure of BCP and the main supplychain risks in the model.  This abstract describes the bachelor degree thesis in computer technology at Växjö University. The company BSR in Växjö has requested an application that can measure a cars performance, with attributes like acceleration times and engine power estimation. The communication between car and computer is via the USB port on the computer and the OBD-II socket on the car with the network protocol CAN, controller area network. Cars from VAG have been the primary focus group and the application has been tested on a Volkswagen Passat CC from 2009. The system is developed in the programming language C# in the environment Visual Studio with the framework .NET.

Denna rapport, En jämförande studie av Svenskt Vattens och CAC:s syn på HACCP-processen, En utvärdering och ett praktiskt tillämpande av Svenskt Vattens Handbok för egenkontrollprogram med HACCP, skriven av Anna Järvegren Meijer (handledd av Kenneth M. Persson, professor vid Teknisk Vattenresurslära, Lunds Tekniska Högskola och Anne Levin, konsult på SWECO VIAK, Malmö) behandlar kvalitetssystemet Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) och fokus ligger på tillämpning inom beredning och distribution av dricksvatten.Rapporten består av tre delar. I den första redovisas HACCP-processen och de arbetssteg som Codex Alimentarius Commission har tagit som praxis. Här jämförs också Svenskt Vattens syn på HACCP i Handbok för egenkontrollprogram med HACCP med just CAC:s. Det konstateras att skillnader finns då Svenskt Vatten har valt att inte följa CAC:s praxis till punkt och pricka utan utformat arbetsgången annorlunda.Den andra delen av rapporten handlar om hur användarvänlig Svenskt Vattens handbok är i praktiken.

Vår uppsats syftar till att skapa en bild av hur sociala medier påverkar en turistupplevelse. Teknologi är idag ett fenomen som har integrerats i det vardagliga livet och har även blivit en del av dagens resande. Sociala medier utgör en stor del av dagens teknologiska användande och används idag frekvent av många människor under en turistupplevelse. Vi anser att sociala mediers alltmer inflytelserika roll i människors resande skapar en möjlighet för oss att studera detta relativt outforskade område. Genom en empirisk utgångspunkt i form av djupgående intervjuer har vi skapat en tydlig uppfattning av hur sociala medier påverkar en turistupplevelse.
