Mobile technology is developing quickly and becomming a part of daily life and communication. Bluetooth Low Energy is presented as a new way of mobile interaction. However there are not enough studies in this field on the interaction between mobile devices and the physical world. In order to understand user needs, and to encourage users to interact, we simulated an interaction process through designing and testing a prototype in a specific indoor environment. Denna examensrapport redogör för en utvecklingsprocess av en webbasserad släktforskningsapplikation, där resultat från släktforskning kan delas av flera aktiva släktforskare. Genom att grundligt undersöka olika datamodeller och befintliga applikationer försöker arbetet säkerställa grunden till en unktionell webbapplikation. Arbetet ledde till en betaversion med begränsad funktionalitet som skall vidareutvecklas i framtiden till ett GNU/GPL projekt med öppen källkod för gratis användning och nerladdning. Målet med arbetet uppfylldes i stora drag, det frångicks dock lite på grund av tidsbrist som uppstod i samband med prototypprogrammeringen..

In order to respond to a more complex community planning with increased cooperation and public participation, a common language and a common model to be used as a base for the communication process is needed. The thesis behind this dissertation for a master's degree is that a virtual 3D planning portal would respond to this need. Why and how are explained and described through studies of communication- and perception theory as well as technology and recent research. The introduction concludes that a broad participation and a transparence towards underlying information are important foundations for the coming work with the model. The first four chapters of the theory part show the benefits of using natural signs in our mixed cultural society, instead of the more arbitrary symbols. Using visual landscapes for storing information is motivated by the flexibility of our visual memory and its ability to understand complex connections.

Mitt projekt är en film i 3d med en skräckfylld underton som utspelas genom en fiktiv persons ögon där färden går genom en skog fram till vad som ser ut att vara en nedlagd fabrik. Men där tystheten från början råder visar sig både det ena och det andra utav märkligheter uppstå! Effekterna för den mörka upplevelsen är prioriterad framför en begriplig handling, och därför finns inga övertydliga budskap som underskattar betraktarens egna slutsatser av filmen. Syftet med denna studie är att få fördjupad förståelse av några pedagogers erfarenheter av och inställningar till alternativa verktyg, när elever är i läs- och skrivsvårigheter med frågeställningarna: Vilken inställning har pedagoger till alternativa verktyg? Hur beskriver pedagoger att alternativa verktyg används när elever är i läs- och skrivsvårigheter? På vilket sätt kan alternativa verktyg främja lärandemöjligheter när det gäller elever i läs- och skrivsvårigheter sett ur pedagogers perspektiv? Vilka utmaningar finns, enligt pedagoger, i användningen av alternativa verktyg? .

Vi började vårt projekt med grunderna till verktyg för att utveckla spel i 2d. Dessa ämnade vi färdigställa under projektet och med dem utveckla en speldemo. Eftersom vi hade gemensamma visioner om spelutveckling så bestämde vi oss för att samarbeta, och fokusera på våra respektive områden. Med att utveckla egna verktyg ville vi få en större förståelse för de grundläggande mekanismerna av en spelmotor och möjligheten att påverka dessa efter våra specifika behov. Det var också för att hålla koden fri från licensierade komponenter för att i framtiden kunna underlätta distribution..

Due to the Danish kings? engagements on the British Isles, the early town of Lund, was influenced by English and Anglo Saxon traditions, architecture and technology. The main aim of this essay is to find out in what ways, and most importantly how this can be seen in the archaeological material, and how it changes over time. Within a framework of historical sources, archaeological finds like excavated stave and stone churches, cemeteries, pottery, and everyday personal objects, both English immigrants and English influence is found. The problem of the English origin of the palisade wall technique is discussed, as is early Lund as a Viking age town.

Kandidatarbetet undersöker vilken försäljningsmetod man som utvecklare ska använda sig av för att få största möjliga förtjänst, när man säljer ett spel på Androids marknad. De försäljningsmetoder, som studerats, är reklam, prissatt och in app billing. Från insamlad statistik av Google och enkäter har en förståelse kring vilken metod att föredra tagits fram. Resultaten visar att alla fungerar trots deras olikheter sinsemellan.

In this Bachelor thesis I explore sound and room as elements in design of user interfaces, both theoretical and practical in a specific application domain, to identify some of the advantages and disadvantage associated with these elements. As application domain I studied email clients and their usage at home amongst students at Blekinge Institute of Technology. In the study I found an activity, which seems to be highly distributed in the physical room where the user is located. The activity was notification of email and could take place in an arbitrary location of the home. I then augmented this activity with ideas from my theoretical assumption about room and sound.
