Detta är ett 10-poängs examensarbete på C-nivå, som vi under vårterminen avlagt vid Karlstads universitet. Målet med vårt projekt var att skapa ett nytt grafiskt gränssnitt till en komprimeringsalgoritm vid namn PAZ. Nuförtiden finns en hel uppsjö av grafiska gränssnitt till komprimeringsalgoritmer, men inget av dem stöder möjligheten att plugga in en egenutvecklad algoritm. Därför var vi tvungna att skapa vårt eget gränssnitt, som förutom PAZ också skulle stödja ZIP, RAR och andra etablerade algoritmer. Vi har alltså skapat ett grafiskt gränssnitt, vilket är anpassat för en implementation av den nya PAZ-algoritmen.Algoritmen har utvecklats av vår uppdragsgivare Martin Larsson.

Prosthetic leg can give a negative psychological effect to the user, which ends up in decreased self-esteem and that the user hides his handicap. xCover gives a more natural volume and a cool look. xCover changes the look of the prosthetic leg C-leg. The product is constructed by us, Patrik Svensson and Magnus Zetterqvist, for Christoffer Lindhe at Lindhextend AB. Christoffer has hired Martin Bergman at Smedjan 17 to make the design.

In this thesis I focus on the artistry and essential work, behind the scenes that storyboard artists have contributed to, since the early days of film history. The works I will focus on are the important phases of pre-planning of feature films and animated films. I theorize on the aspect of what makes a good story and how it is brought to life on the screen, as well as how the story is actually conveyed with this drawings. The hypothesis maintains the importance of storyboards, as well as defining their main purpose. Using a formalistic point of view and historical argumentation, I examine and compare five different directors´ use of storyboards and how their respective collaborative teams (i.e director of photography, production designer and story artists, editors etc) create each film´s particular nuances and cinematic expressions.

Denna uppsats är en historisk prövning av giltigheten hos en teoretisk arbetsmodell, ursprungligen hemmahörande i samhällskunskapen.Modellen som prövas är en typologi från Joachim Raschkes bok Soziale Bewegungen: Ein historisch-systematischer Grundriss. Av språkliga skäl utgår dock denna uppsats från Martin Stolares tolkning av samma typologi, i dennes avhandling Moderniseringskritiska rörelser. Modellen delar upp föreningslivets sociala rörelser med utgångspunkt från de metoder vilka rörelserna använder för att åstadkomma en samhällsförändring. Utifrån detta typologiska raster kan sociala rörelser klassificeras som antingen makt- eller kulturorienterade. Denna uppsats prövar giltigheten hos Raschkes typografi genom en historisk fallstudie av verksamheten hos två organisationer, vilka bägge framgångsrikt verkade i Sandviken under åren 1948-1960.

This essay examines the poetry of the Swedish writer Ivar Conradson (1885-1968). Itanalyzes his work in the context of the European literary scene of the late 19th century, inparticular symbolism and impressionism. Conradson has been considered a symbolist and amysticist by critics and scholars, who claim that his poetry expresses a strong religious ethos,influenced by biblical rhetoric as regards style.While this study does not refute the common view of Conradson, it argues that his earlyworks differ from his later works, where indeed religious and mystical themes can be found.This difference can thus be seen both on stylistic and thematic levels. Using the structuralistmethod of Roman Jakobson and Jurij Lotman, and a phenomenological analysis based on thephilosophy of Maurice Merleau-Ponty and Hannah Arendt, this study examines bothsymbolist and impressionist stylistic devices and themes in Conradson?s literary debutSkyarne (1906).

I denna uppsats undersöks medierapporteringen i expressen.se och aftonbladet.se under kravallerna i Husby 19-23 maj 2013, samt dagen därpå, den 24 maj 2013. Fokus ligger på olika gruppers förekomst som källor, exempelvis poliser, Husbybor och organisationen Megafonen.Uppsatsen består av en kvantitativ och en kvalitativ undersökning. Den kvantitativa delen fokuserar på vilket utrymme olika grupper får i egenskap av källor. Artiklarna har samlats in och därefter analyserats utifrån variabler som grupp, kön och citatlängd. I den kvalitativa delen undersöks på vilket sätt källorna framställs i tre utvalda texter.

Syfte: Hur ser framtidens, morgondagens och dagens entreprenörer på entreprenörskapets framtid samt framtida marknader som spås få en ljus framtid. Metod: Författaren har valt att inhämta primärdata genom intervjuer med personer som befinner sig i olika stadier i livet med fokus på entreprenörskap. Detta för att få så bred svarsfrekvens som möjligt. Intervjuerna har gjorts i fokusgrupper. Respondenterna har bestått av entreprenörer, studenter och en organisation. TeoretisktPerspektiv: Den teoretiska referensramen författaren har använt sig av består främst av teoretiskt entreprenörskap, fokusgrupper och handel. Empiri: Respondenterna i studien består av studenterna Paulina Larsson (17år), MilionAbraham (27år) och Daniel Håkansson (25år). Entreprenörerna heter Carlo Lopez (29år) och Lennart Frimodig (43år).
