I detta examensarbete har vi utfört en litteraturstudie med syfte att hitta hittills okända eller kommande trender som kan komma att ha stor påverkan på aktörerna inom ballastmarknaden i framtiden. Vi har funnit ett antal sådana trender. Vi har också utformat en modell med vars hjälp den långsiktiga tillgången och efterfrågan av ballast inom en specifik region kan undersöks. The period of church awakening in Sweden during the first half of the nineteenth century, has had a great influence on the Swedish society. During that time certain persons are to be noticed. Peter Fjellstedt and Peter Wieselgren, priests in the Swedish Church, are among those who were of special importance. But even the British preacher George Scott and later the Swedish layman Carl-Olof Rosenius became aware of the importance of networking. They all felt a call from God to preach a message of redemption and restoration.

Denna studie söker att inventera och identifiera bilder eller framställningar rörande Katolska kyrkan i skolbokslitteratur mellan 1840-2011. Behovet av en sådan inventering har funnits länge och genom denna studie tas en första ansats till att fylla en kunskapslucka om hur skolbokslitteraturen har framställt och hur den framställer Katolska kyrkan. Den metod som har används i denna studie är den tankestruktur klargörande kvalitativa textmetodiken som är en underkategori av en bredare innehållslig idéanalys och resultatet har påvisat att den undersökta skolbokslitteraturen genom åren har framställt Kyrkan som en antagonist gentemot frihet i form av religionsutövning i den äldre litteraturen och gentemot moralisk konsensus i modernare skolbokslitteratur..

Personal archives are a largely neglected subject in archival theory. Among the consequences of this is the absenceof any general established or formalized practices when it comes to arrangement and description. Thisstudy opposes the notion that an archival institution without formal systems of arrangement and description doesnot order and describe archives in accordance with a general conceptual framework of a correct order. Supportingitself on the anthropological theory of Mary Douglas on dirt and cleanliness, it studies the implicit notions oforder that can be found in the archival descriptions of the personal archives kept by the Swedish national archives.Several patterns where revealed by the study: among them the primacy of quantity stood out. The vaguesystem of categories based on Martin Grass description model appears only to be employed loyally where quantitiesof the particular categories are such that they constitute complete volumes, which seem to be the cardinaljustifier of categorical division within the archive.

Detta är ett 10-poängs examensarbete på C-nivå, som vi under vårterminen avlagt vid Karlstads universitet. Målet med vårt projekt var att skapa ett nytt grafiskt gränssnitt till en komprimeringsalgoritm vid namn PAZ. Nuförtiden finns en hel uppsjö av grafiska gränssnitt till komprimeringsalgoritmer, men inget av dem stöder möjligheten att plugga in en egenutvecklad algoritm. Därför var vi tvungna att skapa vårt eget gränssnitt, som förutom PAZ också skulle stödja ZIP, RAR och andra etablerade algoritmer. Vi har alltså skapat ett grafiskt gränssnitt, vilket är anpassat för en implementation av den nya PAZ-algoritmen.Algoritmen har utvecklats av vår uppdragsgivare Martin Larsson.

In this thesis I focus on the artistry and essential work, behind the scenes that storyboard artists have contributed to, since the early days of film history. The works I will focus on are the important phases of pre-planning of feature films and animated films. I theorize on the aspect of what makes a good story and how it is brought to life on the screen, as well as how the story is actually conveyed with this drawings. The hypothesis maintains the importance of storyboards, as well as defining their main purpose. Using a formalistic point of view and historical argumentation, I examine and compare five different directors´ use of storyboards and how their respective collaborative teams (i.e director of photography, production designer and story artists, editors etc) create each film´s particular nuances and cinematic expressions.

Denna uppsats är en historisk prövning av giltigheten hos en teoretisk arbetsmodell, ursprungligen hemmahörande i samhällskunskapen.Modellen som prövas är en typologi från Joachim Raschkes bok Soziale Bewegungen: Ein historisch-systematischer Grundriss. Av språkliga skäl utgår dock denna uppsats från Martin Stolares tolkning av samma typologi, i dennes avhandling Moderniseringskritiska rörelser. Modellen delar upp föreningslivets sociala rörelser med utgångspunkt från de metoder vilka rörelserna använder för att åstadkomma en samhällsförändring. Utifrån detta typologiska raster kan sociala rörelser klassificeras som antingen makt- eller kulturorienterade. Denna uppsats prövar giltigheten hos Raschkes typografi genom en historisk fallstudie av verksamheten hos två organisationer, vilka bägge framgångsrikt verkade i Sandviken under åren 1948-1960.

This essay examines the poetry of the Swedish writer Ivar Conradson (1885-1968). Itanalyzes his work in the context of the European literary scene of the late 19th century, inparticular symbolism and impressionism. Conradson has been considered a symbolist and amysticist by critics and scholars, who claim that his poetry expresses a strong religious ethos,influenced by biblical rhetoric as regards style.While this study does not refute the common view of Conradson, it argues that his earlyworks differ from his later works, where indeed religious and mystical themes can be found.This difference can thus be seen both on stylistic and thematic levels. Using the structuralistmethod of Roman Jakobson and Jurij Lotman, and a phenomenological analysis based on thephilosophy of Maurice Merleau-Ponty and Hannah Arendt, this study examines bothsymbolist and impressionist stylistic devices and themes in Conradson?s literary debutSkyarne (1906).

 An analysis in the work of Martin Kellermans comic ?Rocky? of the interaction between the male and female characters and of how each of their gender are portrayed. We are going to find out if it is probable for young adults to be affected by any eventual gender-stereotypes that we can find in ?Rocky? or if ?Rocky? consolidates a stereotypical image of men and women that young adults might have developed through different media. We conduct this analys by first reading through random seleceted ?Rocky? books and present some of the comic strips where men and women interact with each other or discuss the opposite sex..

För att ange och beskriva relationella förhållanden har Martin Bubers dialogfilosofi använts som teoretisk modell.
