Posters had their breakthrough in 1830-1840?s all thanks to the lithographic printing technique. The poster was used as an advertising tool.In this essay, we have looked at which semiotic and rhetorical elements that are found in today?s Swedish movie posters. What kind of image and text elements does the poster use and with what function? With what and how do they persuade the audience that the movies are interesting and worth seeing?We have taken the most popular Swedish movies between 2001 and 2010, one for each year, going by the statistic found at the website of the Swedish Film Institute.

The purpose of this examination was to find how supervisors interpreted the termsvocational identity and vocational culture, found in the diploma goals in workplace-based learning at the Child- and Recreation Programme. To reach the purpose, I formulated questions that I answered through a qualitative study. I made six interviews with pre-school teachers who had been supervisors for students at the Child- and Recreation Programme. The informants answered the same questions and the answers were recorded. The result of the study showed that the supervisors made a fairly consistent interpretation of the terms.

Arbetet syftar till att undersöka standardiserade strukturer för implementeringen av virtuellt byggande i ett generellt berganläggningsprojekt. Virtuellt byggande är ett samlingsnamn som beskriver metoder med centrum runt objektsbaserade informationsmodeller. Informationen som dessa modeller ska innehålla kan beskrivas med hjälp av en standardiserad struktur som kallas Information Delivery Manual, IDM. En IDM inne-håller beskrivningar av processen, delaktiga aktörer och deras behov av informationsutbyte. För att försöka implementera denna struktur på ett berganläggningsprojekt användes teorin axiomatisk design.

AbstractBuilding Information Model/Modeling/Management (BIM) is a tool that allows for efficient working methods. BIM saves time and money while providing the potential for visualization. This method of working is based on a 3D-model, and then a fourth and fifth dimension are connected. 5D modeling means that a spreadsheet creates cost estimates based on the 3D model. This provides opportunities to carry out calculations in the early stages of the projects. Calculations are currently performed manually and do not contribute to the development that the construction industry requires.

There are many secrets behind the act of collecting plants. In many regards, the documentation of the collection of plants for a Swedish purpose has been unsatisfactory. The focus of the publications is on what plant species that have been found rather than information on how these plants have been collected. Only few results of experimental cultivation are available. There is no doubt that there exists knowledge that has not been publicised yet.

This Master?s Thesis deals with a special problem that may be of importance when planning a frequency hopping mobile communication network. In normal cases the Frequency Assignment Problem is solved, in order to plan the use of frequencies in a network. The special case discussed in this thesis occurs when the network operator requires that the frequencies must be arranged into groups. In this case the Frequency Assignment Problem must be solved with respect to the groups, i.e.

High demands are set on all equipment used in emergency service work, where small margins can be the distinguishing factor between life and death during a rescue operation. It is important that tools such as ladders quickly and easily can be dismounted from a vehicle and still satisfy the regulatory requirements for securing loads during transport. The existing solution for getting ladders down from the roof of a fire engine requires a large manual effort from the user in an ergonomically unsound posture.In this degree project a new ladder holder is developed with focus on the user to solve the ergonomic problems and at the same time create a more compact design that can be adapted to several different types of ladders. After an initial pre-study with user-interviews and measurement of forces and distances a set of requirements was formulated that came to govern the project's direction. Creative methods were used to generate concepts that improved the function and through design solutions, calculations and testing in CAD a base for manufacturing of a new product was created.The result is a completely new type of ladder holder that minimizes the user's manual effort and simplifies the securing of ladders in the holder.

In the dog-human relationship humans are the ones who provide the dog with safety and comfort. Ainsworth's Strange Situation Procedure (ASSP), which was originally developed in humans to study the relationship between mothers and infants, has been modified to investigate the emotional bond research dogs have to a familiar person. Twelve research dogs were tested to investigate whether the dogs performed any behaviours indicating a secure-base effect, such as more exploration and play in the presence of a familiar person and proximity-seeking behaviours when this person is or has been absent. In the ASSP the dog enters a room with a familiar person, is introduced to a stranger, is left alone for a short period of time and experiences moments of separation and reunion. A second variation of the ASSP was added where the familiar person was replaced by another, to the dog, unfamiliar person.

Hypoadrenocorticism (Addison´s disease) results from insufficient production of glucocorticoid and mineralcorticoid hormones from the adrenal glands. The disease is often difficult to diagnose in an early stage because of the multitude of associated vague clinical signs. The standard poodle is one breed presupposed to be at higher risk of developing the disease. The purpose of this study was to give a review of canine hypoadrenocorticism as described in literature, and to characterise Addison´s disease in a population of standard poodles in Sweden. Statistics on incidenceproportions by breed for hypoadrenocorticism from the database of the Swedish insurance company Agria are presented.

Fokus i studien är attskapa ett arbetsflöde som passar för företagets verksamhet under övergångsperioden, skapa enIT-manual/BIM-manual som företaget skall använda vid projektering med BIM-verktygetRevit Architecture.Problemet med BIM-systemet är ett det är ett relativt nytt system och detta kan avskräckakonsulterna från att använda det. Det finns brist på anvisningar, mallar och IT-manualer somtalar om hur man ska arbeta med BIM och vad som gäller vid de olika projekteringsfaserna.Det finns också svårigheter som företaget inte kan påverka exempelvis möjligheten att samarbetamed andra konsulter och projektörer utanför företaget som använder olika typer av BIMplattformän vad företaget själv använder.Studien utfördes i två faser, en undersöknings fas av två delar där teoretiska kunskaper omsystemet, dess egenskaper, användnings möjligheter jämfört med CAD-systemet har som studeratsoch redovisats i denna rapport. Syftet med detta examensarbete har varit att ta fram ett förslag på utformning av en målgruppsanpassad hjälpfunktion för PDM-systemet på Bombardier Transportation i Västerås. Företaget Bombardier tillverkar flyg (Aerospace) och tåg (Transportation) och huvudkontoret för Transportation i Sverige ligger i Västerås. I företaget används ett PDM-system (Product Data Management) för administrering och distribuering av data och processer kring design, tillverkning, hantering och återvinning av produkter. Information om PDM-systemets funktionalitet finns tillgänglig genom flera olika källor som både är officiella och inofficiella inom företaget. Dessa källor finns både i tryckt och i digital form. Bombardier Transportation i Västerås har efterfrågat ett förslag på en gemensam hjälpfunktion som ersätter befintliga, och istället sammanför nuvarande information till en enhetlig och lättanvänd hjälpfunktion. Hjälpfunktionen har utvecklats i form av en digital manual placerad i anslutning till PDM-systemet och innehåller information som läses på skärm. Informationen om PDM-systemets funktionalitet och användning förklaras för nya och befintliga användare.

I denna rapport beskrivs användning av Bluetooth i laservapen, även en fördjupning inom Bluetooth. Vi fick i uppgift att skriva en manual om hur konfigurationen av laservapnen gick till. Vi skulle ta reda på så mycket som möjligt om Bluetooth lösningen, vilka funktioner som fanns och vilka funktioner som kunde implementeras samt att ta reda på hur man implementerar ett program till vapnen..
