The aim of this thesis is to analyse the supply chain of thecompany and evaluate the potential economic savings in this area.

Grafiska dokumentgränssnitt används av de flesta datoranvändare. Det finns i huvudsak tre typer av dokumentgränssnitt; MDI (multiple document interface), SDI (single document interface) och TDI (tabbed document interface). I ena halvan av arbetet har dessa tre analyserats utifrån en rad faktorer med målet att se om någon modells fördelar väger över de andras och om man kan skapa några riktlinjer för när det är bäst att applicera respektive modell när man utvecklar en ny programvara. Analysen är baserad på litteratur samt kvalitativ enkätundersökning och programtest. Andra delen av arbetet har ägnats åt testa om det går att programmera så att slutanvändaren kan välja den modell han eller hon föredrar.

This essay discusses how insurance companies inform policyholders regarding home insurance. What level of support do insurance companies offer policyholders in order to supply them with enough knowledge to make an informed decision? Is information regarding insurance communicated in simple terms, or is it riddled with industry specific terminology?The essays focus is important to examine from a social context; Swedish social process does not select an insurer for an individual who neglects to choose one for their home insurance. Sweden's welfare system does otherwise provide a helping hand for a lack of decision with regard to preschool and school choice..

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the support program, given to cancer patients in order to promote their own efforts to quit smoking and to study if they kept their changed cigarette consumption 6-18 months after their cancer treatment was done.Method: We have used a descriptive qualitative method with semistructured interviews which were made in the spring of 2010 at Uppsala University. The informants in this study were smoking cancer patients which had been given radiotherapy at the oncology department at Ryhov hospital in Jönköping, Sweden.The results showed that three out of eleven informants were still not smoking after their treatment ended. All informants agreed that information about the effects of smoking on their radiotherapy were important.This study also showed that there are areas in which the support program could benefit from being changed. Of those informants who did not succeed in their efforts to quit smoking, many felt that the support should have been more direct in the sense that the staff should have followed up on their progress more frequently. These unsuccessful informants also stressed that the location for where the information was given could have been more private.

Inom Försvarsmakten används motordrivna generatorer för att förse många förbandsenheter med elektricitet. Dagens bullriga och vibrerande elverk är idag möjliga att ersätta med tystare bränsleceller. På köpet erhålls en bättre ergonomi för alla som arbetar i hytter som strömförsörjs av elverk. I rapporten redovisas funktionen för olika typer av bränsleceller, vilka bränslen de använder sig av och hur dessa kan transporteras. Dessutom redovisas hur två elverk används och vilka förbättringar som kan åstadkommas vid byte till bränsleceller.

Risk assessment is made to determine risks with contaminated areas and to determine which treatment the area requires. In Sweden, risk assessment is divided into three levels: risk analysis, facilitated risk assessment and detailed risk assessment. In detailed risk assessment site-specific guideline values are developed to compare with values of contaminants that are measured in the area.Site-specific guideline values vary with geological and hydrogeological parameters. The purpose of this report is to examine which of these parameters that affect the guideline values. The examination was done using a calculating program for consideration from the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency from the year of 1997.

Mycket händer i Norra Sorgenfri. Det här arbetet syftar till att sätta omvandlingen under lupp och att granska möjligheterna för ett inkluderande stadsliv i området. Vissa forskare hävdar att Malmö segregeras och att fler malmöbor lever i en marginalposition. Avsikterna med omvandlingen är goda och det verkar på planer och program som att stadsdelen kan bli ett område för hela Malmö. Det är dock viktigt att diskutera hur området skulle kunna fungera som mötesplats och boendemiljö.

Studiens syfte är att undersöka språkliga skillnader och/eller likheter samt analysera förekommande stilistiska drag i gymnasieelevers texter som skrivits inom nationella provet i svenska, vårterminen 2012. Frågeställningen har varit ?Hur strukturerar gymnasieelever sin textproduktion gällande innehåll, funktion och form?, Förekommer det skillnader och/eller likheter i elevtextproduktion mellan studieförberedande och yrkesförberedande gymnasieprogram?, Vilka skillnader och likheter mellan språk och betyg i textproduktion visar elever på de studieförberedande programmen i jämförelse med elever på yrkesförberedande program??     Materialet för studien är 24 elevtexter skrivna av gymnasieelever i yrkesförberedande och högskoleförberedande program i hela Sverige inom det nationella provet i svenska B. Elevtexterna analyseras utifrån en systemisk funktionell lingvistisk modell, med syfte att analysera texterna ur aspekterna innehåll, funktion och form. Resultatet av min analys ger en bild av gymnasistelevers språkanvändning med syfte att bidra till den språkpedagogiska forskningen..

Over the period as a student at the Master's Program for Educational Leadership, I have learned thatsometimes the participants School?s management shows concern regarding the purpose of studyingat such a program. The curiosity of what that might devolve upon got me to immerse myself in theapproach to and attitude towards competence development within educational leadership.The essence of what I wanted to examine was how the students from the above mentioned Master'sProgram perceived the treatment they received from supervisors and colleagues and if it waspossible to explain the attitude that the participants in the study reported. I also wanted to examinewhat issues, related to competence development and leadership within the school system, highlightsthe treatment of participants in educational leadership.The results are based on questionnaires and interviews and are divided into four categories; thesupportive, the unaffected, the discouraged and finally a side category to explain how to handle thediscouraged?s lack of support.

Arbetet förklarar och diskuterar huvudsakliga alternativ som finns till att använda grafikkort till generella operationer i dagsläget. Inom denna studie används Nvidias CUDA arkitektur. Studien beskriver hur grafikkort används till egna operationer rent praktiskt ur perspektivet att vi redan kan programmera i högnivåspråk och har grundläggande kunskap om hur en dator fungerar. The aim of this thesis is to look for signs of students? understanding of algebra by studying how they make the transition from arithmetic to algebra. Students in an Upper Secondary class on the Natural Science program and Science and Technology program were given a questionnaire with a number of algebraic problems of different levels of difficulty. Especially important for the study was that students leave comments and explanations of how they solved the problems. According to earlier research, transitions are the most critical steps in problem solving.
