SAMMANFATTNING Rinnande vatten har över en lång tid spelat en väsentlig roll för landskapets geomorfologiska processer och utgör viktiga livsmiljöer för djur och växtsamhällen. Vattendrag har bidragit till människans utveckling och välstånd. Sedan urminnes tider har vattendrags miljöer nyttjats som boplats, för vinning av energi, transport och fiske. Likt allt liv på vår planet är människan beroende av vatten. Betydelsen av vattendragen, som del av den hydrologiska cykeln, kan därför inte betonas nog. Genom mänsklig aktivitet har dock rinnande vattens egenskaper och landskapsbilden som helhet i många områden förändrats drastiskt.

Abstract Problem: Vad menas egentligen med mångfald, vilka dimensioner åsyftas och lyfts fram?Vilka dimensioner undertrycks och vilka problem kan det medföra? Syfte:Syfte med denna studie är att beskriva och skapa en djupare förståelse för begreppet mångfald. Metod:Den metod jag använt är en teorigenomgång. Det är en kvalitativ litteraturstudie med ett hermeneutiskt ideal och med aspekter hämtade från flera akademiska discipliner. Studien är en deskriptiv litteraturgenomgång av andra studier vilka är empiriska eller i sin tur är studier av empiriska data.

Ipendo Systems AB är ett företag som tillhandahåller en webbaserad tjänst, Ipendo Platform, för administration av immateriella rättigheter. De lagar och regler som reglerar hur immateriella rättigheterna hanteras skiljer sig från varje land och tjänsten måste då innehålla information om alla dessa. Dessa lagar eller regler, hädanefter regler, hålls uppdaterade utanför tjänsten i ett Exceldokument, därefter importeras de till Ipendo Platform manuellt. Innan det görs måste de valideras enligt förutbestämda restriktioner, detta för att de dels ska vara i rätt format för Ipendo Platform eller någonting annat som måste vara i rätt format.Syftet och motivationen till detta examensarbete är att man vill ersätta denna process med ett enklare webbaserat adminstrationsverktyg som låter back-office hantera och uppdatera reglerna och sedan själva utföra validering och importering. Detta gör att tid sparas och de personer som jobbar med att uppdatera regler får feedback direkt från valideringen istället för att man ska vänta på att en annan avdelning gör valideringen.

Government regulations and customs duties restrict the import of trucks to some of the markets to which Scania tries to sell their trucks. The distribution problem due to these regulations is solved by the foreign assembly department, KD, at Scania. This means that competence is needed and costs are added not related to Scania's core operations.The aim of this master thesis has been to analyse and to evaluate alternative ways of managing the packing operations considering cost, quality and work organisation. To study and examine the work methods and operations of today and also to present methods measuring the operations effectiveness and productivity.We have used the system approach to maintain totality and to understand the component's relation to this totality. Field studies combined with studies of relevant literature and studies of other companies operations have given us the knowledge and the understanding of the packing operations needed.

Biologisk mångfald i urban miljö har visats sig ha stor betydelse för människansrekreation och fysiska och psykiska hälsa. Samtidigt förbättras stadens hälsa genom debullerdämpande, luftrenande och klimatförbättrande egenskaper som vegetationen har.Syftet med denna undersökning är att utföra en temporal och rumslig analysmed avseende på antal och utbredning av rödlistade kärlväxter i Göteborgs innerstad under1900-talet. Utgångsmaterialet är Göteborgs artdataarkiv, ADA, en databas framtagen avGöteborgs miljöförvaltning som innehåller observationer av rödlistade och andra skyddsvärdaväxt- och djurarter. Då databasen är en sammanställning av olika inventeringar över lång tidär skillnaderna från ett material baserat på en systematisk inventering stora. Vagalokalangivelser och okänd observationsfrekvensen i ett område är faktorer som påverkarsäkerheten i materialet men det kompenseras genom ett stort antal observationer undermycket lång tid.Den temporala analysen av antalet rödlistade kärlväxter i Göteborgs innerstadvisar på en tydlig nedgång i rapporterade arter.

Unlike the manufacturing industry, the construction industry is always in motion. Each new construction project brings new opportunities, and it requires a new plan, new organisation, and new suppliers. All construction projects are very different from each other and in terms of a logistical perspective, this is very weak as it makes it difficult to get a flow in the production and to make flawless routines. The way the external and internal logistics are managed, can effect the final product in the time taken to produce it, the quality of the product and the profit made from it. When internal logistics are handled poorly, it could result in materials not being at the right place at the right time, or information not going through to the right person.

Syfte:Att skildra en arbetsmiljö en ung akademiker kan förvänta sig att möta på en arbetsplats i norra Virginia, USA. Att reda ut vilka arbetsvillkoren är och hur arbetsmiljön ser ut ur perspektiv som genus, kultur och ledarskap. Metod: Kvalitativ forskningsmetod med en induktiv, tolkande och konstruktionistisk strategi. Fallstudier har använts för att inhämta empirisk information. Resultat & slutsats: Det finns en paradox kring arbetstid och flexibilitet. Stipulerad arbetstid är långt ifrån verklig arbetstid. Tjänstemän arbetar betydligt mer än vad som ingår i en normal arbetsvecka.

The purpose of this study was to analyze and develop a workflow for assessing and representing the value of ecosystems to professionals involved in municipal planning. A thorough literature review was conducted and supplemented by interviews and observations. Frameworks for ecosystem service assessments were analyzed and combined with methods in urban planning in order to assess social and ecological conditions. A workflow was set up and methods were evaluated by applying them to a case study in the area Åstråket in Uppsala. Experience from the case study was compiled in order to improve the workflow.Complex assessments were identified and simplified for the method to be useful for practitioners.

AbstractThe Swedish society has always been monolingual, but has for the past decades transformed into a multicultural and multilingual society. The aim of this study is to investigate if and in that case how preschool teachers work with language development in bilingual and multicultural preschools. The concept of linguistic and cultural diversity includes several different components, not least the social interactions that are of great importance to every individual's development, learning and participation in the world. By understanding the importance of language, language development and the role of mother tongue in second language acquisition, we look into various researches done concerning the effects of the preschool teachers? opinions, methods used to language developmental primarily for children who are multilingual and how the physical environment is shaped to promote language in multicultural and multilingual preschools.The method used in this study is semi-structured interviews with preschool teacher working in multicultural or bilingual preschool settings.

Sweden signed, in 1992, the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) and has thus assumed responsibility for the indigenous biodiversity. That also means that Sweden has a conservation responsibility for the Swedish Friesian (SLB) (SJV, 2007a). In a survey conducted by the Board of Agriculture (SJV) in 1996, it appeared that there were around 780 cows and heifers of the SLB breed (SJV, 1997). SJV did in 2006 a plan for the development of livestock genet-ic resources and the number of cows of SLB was estimated at approximately 200. This meant that the SLB was in need of being conserved and SJV assumed it would be categorized as threatened.The primary objective of conservation of a breed is to reduce the loss of the original genetic variation (Lacy et al., 1995).

Textiles are made in an unsustainable way and there is a need to find alternative ways and material to reduce the negative impacts on the environment, humans and animals. Problems like pollution, excessive water consumption and loss of soil fertility is a result of this lack of diversity. It is a necessity to find innovative alternatives in other fabrics due to the unsustainable use of cotton and polyester fibers. As in many other countries in the Western part of the world, in Sweden there is a rapid turnover and increased selling of clothes that result in increased textile waste. About 15 kilogram of textiles (net inflow) is consumed per person each year.

This study departs from the observation that since the late 1980´s educational programmes for curators have been established and since then expanded greatly. The programmes are part of a process of institutionalization and professionalization of the role of the curator within the international contemporary art field where the role as such has gained much power. Even though many statements have been made about this relatively new phenomenon of curatorial studies, there is a lack of sufficient research. The intention of this study is therefore to examine the educational programmes as such. The selection of 15 programmes has been made with the purpose to include early as well as newly established and to cover a wide geographic area.

?Urban Leftovers ?Problem eller potential? handlar om stadens överblivna ytor och stadens fragment. Ämnet överblivna ytor i staden är aktuellt och rör sig ofta i gränslandet mellan arkitektur, planering och konst. Man kan förhålla sig till dessa icke-definierade platser på olika sätt men gemensamt är att de i grund och botten berör frågan Vem har rätt till staden? Ofta har de överblivna ytorna inte någon egen funktion utan finns enbart som gränser eller skyddszoner för att skilja andra funktionsområden från varandra.

ABSTRACTInternet use in Sweden is among the highest in Europe. The increased availability and use of the Internet has changed people's behavior patterns. This, in turn, has made many companies choose to offer their products and services online. This means that there is less personal contact and that customer relations can be described as having gone from face-to-face to face-to-screen. Swedish banks have come a long way in terms of adapting its operations to customers? demand in a global environment that is digitizing at a rapid pace.
