The paper evaluates two housing proposals with Space syntax as method. The
proposals are very different in a topological sense but are in a configural
sense almost the same. This effect is because both proposals connect themselves
to the existing configural structure of the city in the same way. Neither of
them takes advantages of the most integrated streets in the existing structure
and use them to concentrate pedestrian and car flows to the streets or points
which are intended to be the most urban areas. The knowledge of Space syntax

This paper examines the opportunities and challenges of integrating conservation practice and the circular economy into practical planning processes. In recent years, the discussion of circular economy and its relevance in the sustainability debate has intensified. According to the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency, the transition to a circular economy is crucial to achieving the national and international environmental and climate goals as well as the global goals in Agenda 2030. Parallel to this, there is a long established heritage discourse that emphasizes the importance of preserving buildings and cultural environments as part of our cultural heritage. These two discourses have common goals, but they differ in how they present their respective arguments.

If all 45 000 to 50 000 family companies ceases to exist, Sweden looses a significant part of business trade.There are numbers of different methods for an older generation of owners to transfer their companies to a younger generation such as inheritance, gift, will, internal stock transfer, division?s etc., where inheritance is the most complex area. That an owner of a company dies without any plan for the future of the company is not preferable because the rules of legal successions occur. For a long time I have felt that there is a lack of time planning productson the market that attracts me to use them. Therefore I wantedto explore the possibilities of developing something that I reallywanted to use.At first I tried to come up with a more general tool for planningand structuring time, different from the products that are alreadyavailable. But soon I found it more interesting to see myself as theprimary user. This way I felt that I could experiment more and Ididn?t have to take things like production, cost and possible targetgroups into consideration.As I set out with an aim to try and understand my own problemswith planning and structuring time the project became a very personalone.

The purpose of this essay is to study how the local creators of a "master plan" for the swedish city Kristinehamn, the years between 1940 to -43, looked on their planning. It is an analysis of ideas case study. A hypothesis is upheld for the research: that the local physical planning had largely extended ambitions what regards central state control in a way that is similar to planned economy. Questions that are asked include: Was the planning assumed to be a tool for the state to regulate the environment? Can the planning be seen as a mean to control the society in time and space? For that reason it is very important that the planning- and productionprocesses aren?t to complex and with a simple structure.The purpose of this report is to study and map out a marked out part of a planning- andproduction process, from adjust works to final delivery, at a company in the sawmill industry.Different methods have been used for the report, among others interviews and subordinatedmaterial.We have mapped out a marked out part of the planning- and production process at theCompany. Bostadsförsörjning planlagd?
This thesis seeks to investigate the relationship between municipal policy for
housing supply and the planning of new housing in Sweden. Through a case study
of Göteborg municipality and a comparative content analysis of Göteborgs policy
for housing supply and a number of plans featuring housing the analysis seeks
to investigate the effect of policy for housing supply as a tool for securing
the demand for housing in the Swedish municipalities. The thesis also seeks to
discuss its findings using theory concerning the implementation of policy and
the general planning situation for Swedish municipalities today.
The result of the analysis shows that most plans fail to regulate most of the
content suggested in the policy for housing supply, particularly regarding
aspects such as pricing, type of housing and type of ownership. The result also
points towards a relationship regarding the prevalence of municipal land
contracts and compatibility to policy for housing supply as well as a
connection between how extensive the plans are in their proposed land use and
their compatibility with policy for housing supply.
Using theories of policy implementation and the municipal planning situation,
possible explanations for the findings of the analysis could be a split in
responsibility between the formulating and implementation of the policy for
housing supply and its contents, a lack of resources of means for implementing
or the prevalence of special interests when attempting to convert policy to
plans..

The acquisition process as an object for research and empirical studies have increased in importance during the past decade. The purpose of this thesis is to investigate this process further. This was done by reviewing previous research covering the area of mergers and acquisitions. Seven key factors that should be considered in an acquisition process emerged; acquisition project management, planning, communication between the acquirer and the potential target, goal alignment within management, company-cultures, a trade-off between a certain speed in integrating the companies and consideration of the employees, and finally the follow-up. These factors have been shown to increase the likelihood of value creation in acquisitions.

syntax-teorin, visats bli välbesökta. Handelshamnen i Karlskrona är en plats
som innehar dessa egenskaper. Ett nytt promenadstråk längs med kajen har därför
potential att bli välbesökt samtidigt som det finns potential att skapa ett
attraktivt bostadsområde på platsen. Examensarbetet ger förslag på en
utformning av bostäder längs med Handelshamnen samt även hur de lokala- och
globala korrrelationsvärdena på platsen kan höjas för att bidra till ett
välbesökt promenadstråk. Detta utan att de bostadsmiljöerna drabbas av den
