Denna studie hade som syfte att undersöka och analysera hur pedagoger arbetar med inlärningsstilar utifrån Dunn & Dunns modell. Data samlades in genom en kvalitativ undersökning i form av intervjuer med tre pedagoger, samt observationer i klassrumssituationer för att få kunskap om hur olika lärstilar fungerar i praktiken. Undersökningen visade att de observerade eleverna jobbade med alla sina sinnen i större eller mindre omfattning. Informanternas definition av inlärningsstilen var att individanpassa undervisningen, att ge eleverna möjlighet att testa sina multisensoriska sinnen, att undervisa från helheten till detaljerna, samt att skapa stimulans genom informell möblering. Informanterna jobbade i enlighet med sin egen definition av modellen, som däremot skiljde sig i förhållande till Dunn & Dunns teorier, genom att inte diagnostisera eleverna och att använda mindre andel av studiematerial.

Syftet med uppsatsen har varit att undersöka vilka kommunikationsstrategier som används i reklamfilmer för spelbolag samt vilka gemensamma drag och olikheter som finns i de olika spelbolagens marknadsföring då tv-reklam utgör mediet. Jag har i min uppsats besvarat följande frågeställningar:? Hur byggs reklamfilmerna upp för att locka specifika målgrupper att spela på just deras sajter?? Hur gestaltas manligt och kvinnligt i reklamfilmerna?Jag har analyserat fem reklamfilmer från fem olika spelföretag; Karamba, Maria, Jackptjoy, Vera & John samt Mr Green. Jag har analyserat reklamfilmerna utifrån begreppen: humor, metafor, ljud, bild, kvinnlighet och manlighet. Dessa begrepp är formade utifrån Jens Elmelund Kjeldsen, Maria Nikolajeva samt Ulf Dahlqvist och Magnus Lindes teorier om retorik, genusschema och reklamutformning.

Bakgrunden till denna studie är att skoldebatten är het och vikten av att ha bra lärare nämns ofta. Hur är då en bra lärare? Studiens syfte är att få kunskap om hur en bra lärare är enligt gymnasieelever och se om elevernas svar överensstämmer med vad tidigare forskning säger. Jag ville även se om det fanns några större skillnader i svar mellan elever i ettan jämfört med de som går i trean. Metoden för undersökningen var kvalitativ i form av enskilda intervjuer med 22 elever på studieförberedande program.

Animals living in captivity are often subjected to various kinds of stress. Individuals within species can respond differently to the same stressor depending on differences in coping style and physiology. Active and passive coping is a common way to describe different coping styles in animals and it is likely that these strategies have a high heritability. Individuals with an active coping style are characterized by an urge of control and a higher level of aggression than individuals with passive coping style, who in general are more flexible and respond to stress by immobilisation to a greater extent. The aim of this bachelor?s thesis is to investigate the presence of different coping styles and personality types in dogs (Canis lupus familiaris) and horses (Equus ferus caballus) and to find fields of application for this information.

The purpose with this examine was to study the teachers perception of leadership in the classroom and also how they experience the conditions of this. The method used was qualitative, and builds on a total of six interviews. Stensmos five leadership tasks in the classroom that constitute leadership context have provided the theoretical basis of this study. The leadership tasks have therefore been used as theoretical tools in this study to analyze the teachers? reasoning about their own leadership style.

Personer som vårdas på sjukhus påverkas av vårdmiljöns design och atmosfär. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva hur personer i livets slut upplever den fysiska och psykosociala vårdmiljön. Fjorton kvalitativa vetenskapliga studier analyserades med kvalitativ innehållsanalys med manifest ansats. Detta resulterade i fem slutkategorier: Att ett gott bemötande och professionalitet hos vårdpersonalen ökar tryggheten, Att den fysiska vårdmiljöns utformning påverkar förtroendet för vården, Att önskemål om avskildhet ska tillgodoses, Att relationer med andra patienter ökar välbefinnandet och Att en humoristisk atmosfär ökar livskvaliteten. Resultatet av studien visade att patienterna uppskattade att känna sig väntade, sedda och inbjudna.

This means that media is affecting the recipients? view on religion in general and the personal religion.

The purpose of this study was to see how teachers experience their own leadership style and how they did to get their leadership to work in the classroom. The purpose was also to understand the teachers? actions, what they think is best for the students? development and how they describe the leadership in the classroom. I interviewed six female teachers and they all have had many experiences since this is their profession. My research was based on Stensmo (2000).

The Public vs. private movement has over the past decades identified numerous significant differences between public and private organizations. The observed differences covers almost every field in administrative economics ranging from organizational structure, management accounting, goal-setting and in the past few years even leadership. Strangely, in the majority of these studies little or no regards are given to organizational characteristics or fundamental differences between compared organizations and if these organizations really are comparable when studying the effect of sector.The aim of this study is to compare leadership in relatively similar organizations from both the public and private sector and so clarify if earlier identified differences in leadership styles still surface when leaders working with approximately the same thing in a similar work context are studied.A sample of 348 Swedish principals was drawn from both municipal and private elementary schools. The respondents answered a web-based survey based on the CPE-model resulting in leadership styles mapped according to three orientations: change, production and employee.

Syftet med undersökningen var att undersöka fyra förskollärares uppfattningar om ledarskap i förskolan i deras interaktion med barnen samt hur de skildrar relationers betydelse, genom att använda intervju som metod. Genom observation har jag undersökt en förskollärares interaktion med barnen i syfte att se hur förskolläraren arbetar. I resultatet framkommer det att ledarskap för förskollärare innebär att vara lyhörd, att barn har olika viljor och att lyssna till barnet och ser barnet samt att förskolläraren är tydlig med det som förväntas av barnen och av förskolläraren. Resultatet visade vikten av att skapa goda relationer, att förskolläraren kan använda sig utav humor och det ansågs att humor är en del av en lärares ledarskap. Under relationsarbetet var det viktigt att förskolläraren bekräftar varje barn och visar intresse för barnet.

In the increasing urban environments and the modern societies demands for sustainability there is a challange in planning cities with a balance between density and a satisfying access of recreational environments. For attractive cities these environments need to be designed to fit every inhabitants? demands and opinions in some way. Increased knowledge and understanding is therefore needed about how different design styles in landscape architecture affect people and the cities. In this bachelor thesis benefits and disadvantages as well as the experience and impact of two fundamental design styles i discussed; naturalistic and formal/abstract design.

This paper aims to examine how the beginning of newly examined teacher?s professional life might look like and also highlight the obstacles that might occur during the induction, the time during which the student becomes the teacher. The paper also discusses what support that is available for newly examined teachers in schools concerning the possibility to have a mentor and a period of introduction.A qualitative method was used for this study and interviews were made with new teachers who shared their experiences from the beginning of their careers. The results from the interviews were also discussed from the points of view of the study?s theories concerning different leadership styles.Two handbooks for new teachers, aiming to support them in their new professional role were compared.

This has resulted that performance appraisal in many organizations takes up capacity and time. This was the starting point of our interest to study whether the time spent on performance appraisals effectively pays for itself in the organization, in other words whether the effects expected actually are achieved. The paper examines first line managers` views on staff appraisal purposes and effects of a function within the Landstinget. The survey design, methodology and transaction are of qualitative and quantitative method with three different sources: literature review of previous research, interviews with first line managers in Landstinget Västmanland and the results from an employee satisfaction survey conducted on behalf of Landstinget Västmanland.

The school is responsible to make sure that each students´ individual needs are met as well as that the lessons are suitable for all students´ ability. As this is the case it is very interesting to evaluate how this is done in reality. The purpose with the study has been to shed light upon what different methods teachers in various schools use in order to individualize their teach­ings. Are their obvious differences in the way teachers work with individualization and how does this affect the students? The teachers in the different schools provided me with informa­tion on how they work in order to teach, stimulate and motivate well achievers as well as stu­dents who find school more difficult.
