There is an ongoing discussion amongst Swedish politicians about how the Swedish police will be able to handle increased organised criminality represented in the growing threats of terrorism. In May 2006 representatives from the seven parties of the Swedish parliament debated the question whether the Swedish security service and Swedish police should be permitted to use increased surveillance with the purpose of preventing severe criminality.The question of increased surveillance is a matter often connected to matters of personal privacy. The aim of this master?s thesis is to study which arguments are being used for and against the proposed law that would permit surveillance with the purpose of preventing crime, as well as examine members of Parliaments view on privacy.The methodology used in this thesis is both argumentation analysis and rhetoric analysis. These two tools are used to examine the minutes from a parliamentary debate about the bill mentioned earlier.

Bakgrund: Fysioterapeuter arbetar traditionellt med redan inträffade skador i syfte att återfå funktion och minska smärta. Inom idrottslag arbetar dock fysioterapeuter ofta skadeförebyggande. Marklyft är en tävlingsgren inom styrkelyft men används även ofta inom andra idrotter för såväl prestationsökande och skadeförebyggande syfte. Marklyft utförs ofta med stora belastningar som är påfrestande för greppet och för att klara av de stora belastningarna använder sig många av ett mixat grepp. Det är idag okänt hur ett mixat grepp påverkar symmetrin vid utförandet av ett marklyft.Syfte: Syftet var att undersöka om det uppstod skillnader vad gäller asymmetriska rörelser i form av förskjutning av center of pressure (CoP) vid ett mixat grepp jämfört med pronerat under ett marklyft.Metod: Åtta erfarna manliga styrkelyftare deltog i denna studie.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att via beskrivningar av upplevelser och erfarenheter hos patienter med ätstörningsproblematik som erhållit bildterapi i grupp, skapa en fördjupad förståelse om den bildterapeutiska processen. I resultatet framträder hur processen gestaltats. Bildprocessen indelades i tre utvecklingsfaser med övergripande teman; avvaktande- prövande- bearbetande. En gruppindelning tydliggör hur många av patienterna som påbörjade en utvecklande process i bildterapin. För de flesta blev bildterapin en viktig behandlingsinsats där en bildprocess startade, några få stannade upp i en kontrollerande låst position. .

A growing need to strengthen ones position on the market, even as a city in competition with other cities, has resulted in an increasing number of municipalities developing brand platforms. When the city of Umeå developed their platform, they identified decision makers and investors as one of four important target groups.The aim of this study is to explore the portrayed image of the city of Umeå in two Swedish trade journals which addresses the specific target group decition makers and investors in both public and private sector. The aim is also to compare the image of Umeå in the two papers, to the ambition of the municipality, expressed in the brand platform.In order to make the observations as firmly established as possible, the method of the study is a combination of a quantitative content analysis and a qualitative text analysis. The study draws on the theories of Eli Avraham and Philip Kotler, concerning how to improve city images and how to market a specific city among others. The study shows that the city of Umeå in large extent is portrayed in accordance to the ambition which the municipality expressed in the brand platform.Umeå is displayed as an expanding city.

Nathan Söderblom, Swedish archbishop 1914 - 1931, understands his role as bishop from an integrated theological conception that episcopacy is a gift to the church and the apostolic succession a heritage of utmost value. Episcopacy is an important tool to make the churches come together. in his work for peace during the Great War it was through his position without any power that he could approach the politicians. His calling was not only for Sweden; he had a responsibility for the whole world. To regularly remove woody vegetation along the roadside of forest roads is an important part of the road maintenance, since the vegetation binds moisture in the road side and, thus, the removal makes the road drying faster with results in improved bearing capacity. Vegetation removal also makes it easier to upgrade the road by material recycling from the ditch and, moreover, the visibility along the road is maintained.The aim of the study was to evaluate what type of chain flail is the best and most cost-effective for removal of different kind of woody vegetation along forest roadsides.Time studies were made on two chain flails when removing woody vegetation in three different classes; easy-, middle- and heavy shrub removal. The studied flails were one light and rather simple flail named Optimal M160 and a heavier and more advanced flail named Slagkraft H210. The removal was made according to Holmen Skogs? specification and the quality of the cleaning was measured by objective belt inventory.The productivity was higher with the heavy flail within all cleaning classes.

The society has strongly developed and changed the condition of the trades. The retail trade is no exception; it has changed and developed in the same pace as society. The retail trade is a very broad and extensive trade as all people come in contact with frequently. In the past people shopped locally but nowadays people have the entire world as their marketplace because of the development of Internet. Globalisation gives customers wider opportunities, which demands new and different sales concepts.

Uppsatsen handlar om maskulinitetsbildning hos gymnasiepojkar i Sverige. Mitt syfte var att ta reda på vad maskulinitet kan vara och hur det uttrycks i skolan hos en grupp gymnasiepojkar. För att göra detta ville jag beskriva och analysera hur pojkarna i en gymnasieklass diskuterade begreppen manlighet, kvinnlighet, vänskap och kärlek och hur de agerade i skolan inom dessa teman. Jag ville även se om det i dessa sammanhang fanns en hegemonisk maskulinitet i pojkgruppen och vilka uttryck den i så fall tog sig i pojkarnas relation till varandra. Som sista forskningsfråga ville jag ta reda på om andra maskuliniteter än den hegemoniska visade sig, och om så var fallet, hur gruppen hanterade dessa.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka olika metoder som kan förebygga osteoporos samt att granska sjuksköterskans undervisande roll i samband med prevention. Metoden är en litteraturstudie. Tio vetenskapliga artiklar granskades och analysen resulterade i följande teman: kostens betydelse, motionens inverkan för att förebygga osteoporos, preventionsprogram och sjuksköterskans undervisande roll. Resultatet visar att prevention av osteoporos lönar sig men att det är svårt att nå ut med information till den aktuella målgruppen. Det framkommer även att sjuksköterskan är i en god position för att informera patienten om preventionens innebörd och dess tillvägagångssätt..

Företag betraktar ofta monetära belöningar som ett verktyg för att motivera anställda och få dem att prestera bättre. Tidigare studier har visat att monetära belöningar har en påvisad positiv effekt på motivation samt prestation men det finns även studier som har indikerat motsatsen. Forskare argumenterar för att det existerar faktorer som påverkar relationen mellan monetär belöning, motivation och prestation, dock är det relativt okänt vilka dessa faktorer är. Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka relationen mellan olika monetära belöningar, motivation och prestation samt identifiera faktorer som kan inverka på denna relation. Vi ville även undersöka fördelningen av monetära belöningar.

The idea of this paper is to try to give the novel of Gerd Brantenberg, Egalias döttrar, another profundity. To take the book to another dimension, by using the theory of Judith Butler, queer, and her criticism of the Monique Wittig?s earlier theories of the subject queer. I examine how the language is used through a queer analysis by performing a closely reading. My position is that the language assumes a heterosexual norm, which is unveiled by queer.

Denna fallstudie tar upp enskilda kvinnors upplevelser i samband med mediala diskurser och identitet utifrån deras position som tidigare utsatta för direkt patriarkalt våld. Vissa diskursiva begrepp diskuteras, exempelvis ?offer?. Centralt för respondenterna är att inte identifiera sig med dessa termer. Våldserfarenheterna har påverkat samtliga respondenter och det präglar hur de förhåller sig till diskursiva termer.

Two of the most difficult challenges that organizations face today is to conduct a successful change process and managing the effect of a change, such as arising expectations. It is very common for change in an organization not to achieve the desired result or that they even fail. There may be a lot of reasons for these failures.
