Uppsatsen är en fallstudie av kustsamhället Tjörn i Bohuslän som har stora säsongsvariationer under året. Under sommaren besöker många turister destinationen för bland annat sol, bad och segling. Vi kommer därför att studera begreppet säsongsproblematik och hur detta upplevs på Tjörn. Ett annat område som studerats är samverkan och hur detta sker mellan privata aktörer och den offentliga sektorn.Tjörn har många naturtillgångar som uppmanar till turism, så som badplatser, naturhamnar och vandringsleder. Ön har också många unika varumärken som exempelvis Nordiska akvarellmuseet i Skärhamn, Pilane skulpturpark och Sundsby säteri (www.tjorn.se).Syftet med denna uppsats är att skapa en ökad förståelse för hur arbetet med säsongsvariationer sker i ett kustsamhälle och hur samverkan mellan kommunen och småaktörer ser ut genom en fallstudie av Tjörn.För att uppfylla syftet kommer vi att besvara dessa två frågeställningar:? Hur arbetar man med säsongsförlängningar i ett kustsamhälle?? Hur samverkar aktörer i kommunen och turistföretag med att behandla säsongsförlängning?Enligt Baum & Lundtorp (2001) finns säsongsvariationer på många platser i världen men det görs inte mycket för att minska detta.Den metod vi har valt för att genomföra studien är kvalitativa intervjuer med respondenter från lokala turistföretag, med Södra Bohuslän Turism AB samt med respondenter från turismavdelningen på Tjörns kommun.De resultat vi kom fram till var att Tjörn har ett bra turismarbete, både kommunen och de aktörer vi intervjuat arbetar med syftet att skapa säsongsförlängning, dock finns det signaler på att en bristande samverkan delvis hindrar en fortsatt lyckad utveckling.

Today dairy farmers in Sweden are obligated to have lights turned on during night time in addition to the mandatory daylight inlet. This presents a cost for the production but many argue that it can be economically beneficial, especially in loose housing of dairy cows. In loose housing and even more so in herds with automatic milking, well functioning cow traffic during all hours of the day is crucial to optimise production. In order to keep the cow traffic flowing, lights may be an important management tool. It is also perceived among farmers with tied up stall that night light decreases the incidents of cows accidental stepping on their own or neighbours udders.

This master thesis has been written in collaboration with Science Park Jönköping and is based on a problem related to corporate innovation. Science Park Jönköping believes that there is an untapped potential in existing industry in the form of ideas that are never commercialized. These theories are also supported in the research in which other authors have perceived that the ideas and inventions which do not belong to the core business risk ending up in drawers. If more of these ideas could be spin-offs or other forms of enterprise instead of staying in the drawers it would lead to growth, both for companies and for the society in large.The purpose of the thesis work is to, based on the case Science Park Jönköping, analyze how science parks and incubators can support the commercialization of ideas that derive from industry, who otherwise had been left lying. The work began with a mapping of the Science Park Jönköping operations and the skills they possess, and then other initiatives that aim to commercialize more ideas from companies were examined.

Latvia has been an independent state twice, the first time during the years 1918-1940 and the second time from the year 1991 and ahead. During these two periods Latvia has been a destination for tourists. The aim of this study is to describe how Latvia as a destination has developed during the years of independence. One further aim is to compare what Latvia?s tourism industry looked like during the same periods to descry similarities and differences.

The aim of this study was to investigate the social behaviour and time budget of breedingbulls kept at VikingGenetics, Falkenberg in Sweden when the staff was off duty. It was ofinterest to see if there was any difference between bulls housed in group pens and bullshoused in individual pens. It was also of interest to investigate if there was any differencein the behaviour between the dairy breeds Swedish Red (SR) and Swedish Holstein (SH).Sixteen bulls were used in this study. Eight bulls kept in individual pens and eight bullskept in group pens were used. The individually housed bulls had a social gate with widerbars where the bulls could but their head and neck through to have social contact with thebulls in its neighbouring pens.

SammanfattningSyfte och frågeställningSyftet med studien är att undersöka vilken betydelse idrottshallens utformning har avseende lärande, lek och fysisk aktivitet i ämnet idrott och hälsa för elever i grundskolan på fem skolor.Hur upplever läraren att idrottshallen fungerar för undervisningen?MetodUndersökningen genomfördes med hjälp av metoden kvalitativ intervju på fem skolor i Stockholm. Skolorna kallas i studien för Nordskolan (F-6), Östskolan (F-3), Sydskolan (F-9), Västskolan (F-3) och Centrumskolan (F-9). En lärare i idrott och hälsa intervjuades på respektive skola. Lärarna kallas för Nora, Olga, Siri, Vera och Cissi.ResultatNord-, Syd- och Centrumskolans idrottshall är stor till golvytan, cirka 24x48 meter, och när varje hall delas av med en vikvägg är vardera halva cirka 24x24 meter.

De inhysningssystem som används idag möter inte alltid hästens naturliga behov. En traditionell uppstallning hindrar hästen att utföra sitt naturliga rörelsebehov. Genom att ge hästarna möjlighet till mer rörelse kan man få flera hälsomässiga fördelar. Exempel på fördelar är ett starkare skelett, starkare senor, bättre kondition och minskad stress vid uppstallning och träning. Syftet med denna studie är att ta reda på om hästar rör sig mer beroende på olika inhysningssystem som ger olika förutsättningar för rörelse.

In connection with riding and handling of horses, many accidents that can cause severe injuries to both horses and humans are existent. The cause is in most cases that the horse is frightened. The horse's fear also affects its usefulness and it has been shown to have adverse effects on the horse's welfare. To increase safety and improve the welfare of both humans and horses, it is important to find appropriate training methods to reduce the fear of horses in frightening situations. This experimental study compares handled habituation to free habituation.

The aim of this study was to describe how body language of humans affects the domestic dog (Canis familiaris) and how it can be implanted in the stressed situation that occur at an animal hospital. The subject is brought to notice because the author has experienced that dogs can get more stressed when a stressed and nervous owner is attending. Humans affect each other through posture, facial expression, voice and movement, and are often driven by their emotions, which can differentiate the verbal communication from the non-verbal communication. This occurs both consciously and unconsciously. Every human uses body language but not everyone knows how it is used or how to understand it.

Title: How to Construct the Perfect Scandal ? a study of the news reported by Expressen concerning the SD-scandalAuthor: Linnea IvarssonThis C-paper presents the incident concerning the political party Sverigedemokraterna in Expressen in November 2012. The newspaper was the main source of the news reporting with the mobile phone camera film from the occurance and led the way of the news reporting in Sweden about three party members.The paper investigates how the story telling of the so called SD-scandal was constructed, using Critical Discourse Analysis as the analysis method combined with selected parts from the analysis method of critical linguistics. The theories that have been used to establish the results of the analysis are Critical Discourse as a theory based on Norman Fairclough and Teun A. van Dijks theoretical keystones combined with Sigurd Allerns and Ester Pollacks theories and schematic point of view on the constructions of political scandals in media.With the theories and analysis methods above mentioned the results turned out to confirm the theory about how political scandals in media are constructed and designed with certain strategies and agenda.

The red-tailed monkey (Cercopithecus ascanius) is a small, alert and active animal inhabiting forests with dense vegetation and as such hard to observe in its natural habitat. The principal aim of this study was to scrutinize whether the methods, previously used in a behavioural study of the blue monkey (Cercopithecus mitis) can be applied in studies of the red-tailed monkey?s behaviour as well. Additionally, habitat preference and foraging behaviour of the red-tailed monkey were examined. The study was carried out between the 16th and the 22nd of March 2009 in the Sabaringo forest, located on the western border of the Masai Mara National Reserve.

A paranoid and shameful reading of Inger Christensens novel Azorno.The contagious feelings of paranoia and shame played a vital part in my first reading of the novel Azorno, written by the Danish poet Inger Christensen. In this essay, I?m letting those emotions direct the ?understanding? and analysis of the novel. In earlier research the focus has been to comprehend what the novel ?really is about?, and even though it has been mentioned that the form probably is a way to make the reader a visible constructer of  the novel?s ?meaning? the understanding has never been created by the affects that occurs during the reading.

According to a decision of the European Commission, measures are to be taken to reduce the use of energy in the EU. The goal is to reduce it by 20 % compared to the current use. This shall be done to the year 2020 (European Commission, 2011). One industry that use large amounts of energy is the construction of buildings which account for almost a third of the energy use (Brogren, 2012). The major part of the energy that is used in the construction industry is not used when the buildings are built, but rather during the rest of their subsequent lifetime.
