I denna uppsats undersöks hur några festivalarrangörer har upplevt och upplever det svenska festivallandskapet under 2010 och föregående år, med fokus på musikfestivalen Siesta!. Genom Siesta får studien en ung och relativt nyetablerad festivals syn på festivallandskapet och tar därmed plats för första gången inom svensk festivalforskning. Syftet med denna uppsats är att kvalitativt undersöka hur Siesta har uppstått och utvecklats ur ett arrangörsperspektiv och hur den skiljer sig från andra likartade musikfestivaler såsom Arvikafestivalen, Hultsfredsfestivalen, Peace & Love, Way Out West, Popaganda och Emmabodafestivalen. Vidare analyseras det festivallandskap och det nätverk som dessa musikfestivaler befinner sig i. Utgångspunkten är att det sker och har skett en förändring med tanke på Hultsfredsfestivalens konkurs under sommaren 2010. Vad det är som har skett och hur det har påverkat festivalarrangörerna undersöks ur ett nutidsorienterat företags- och samhällsperspektiv. Materialet som använts är intervjuer med två personer ur Siestas ledning, skriftlig intervju med representant för Popaganda samt källor som belyser festivallandskapet ur ytterligare festivalarrangörers perspektiv.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att bidra med kunskap och förståelse av hur kärlek kan skapas i ett senmodernt samhälle. Aktuella studier på området menar att samhället idag är mer individualiserat än förr vilket innebär förändrade förutsättningar för att få kärleksrelationer att fungera. Moderniseringen har inneburit att vi antagit nya former av dejting vilket präglas av valfrihet för individen på samma gång som teknikens utveckling har medfört nya möjligheter att finna intimitet och tillit online. För att genomföra denna kvalitativa uppsats har vi utfört intervjuer med nätdejtare som därefter har tolkats utifrån Becks teorier kring risksamhället, Giddens teorier kring rena relationer samt Goffmans teorier kring det dramaturgiska perspektivet. Resultatet visar att nätdejtingen präglas av flera risker och faror.

Being in a relationship where the partner has Asperger's syndrome makes you indirectly affected by their disability as it affects not only the disabled but also the partner. The partner may be faced with a lack of understanding from their partner with Asperger's syndrome and from its surroundings, where the syndrome including causes, limits ability in social interaction and communication.The study is a qualitative study based on six asynchronous interviews conducted via email with partners who are in a relationship with a partner who has Asperger's syndrome.The aim of the study was to increase understanding and to highlight partners experience to be in a relationship where the other partner has Asperger's syndrome and how outside support from the environment is perceived. Results of the study showed that all six partners felt that everyday life was structured around the partner with Asperger's syndrome. There was a perceived feeling of loneliness because of the partner with Asperger's syndrome not caring about the partner and of being the one taking the greatest responsibility in everyday life for it to work. There was a feeling of stress, anxiety, lost confidence and frustration but there was also a strong desire and commitment to their partner with Asperger's syndrome.

This essay is a contribution to the process of reconstructing the meaning of a concept that has been long forsaken and somewhat forgotten. It examines the way in which the Swedish nobility perceived the politically active peasantry during the 1740s as an expression of the prevailing political culture of the period. The aim of this study is thus to understand a bygone world of thought that once existed in a very turbulent political culture. I focus on the words formed and articulated in the halls and rooms of the Swedish estates by which the thoughts, opinions and power of the Swedish government came to the fore. In doing so it is possible to say something about how the nobility, in their relationship with the peasantry, constructed an object which represented their perception of the Swedish peasant and what this meant.

Young people of today have a much wider access to information on sex and relationships, and they receive this information from a variety of different sources. This information can sometimes paint a diverse and inconsistent picture. School constitutes one of these sources, and one of the few places were young people can discuss and reflect on these issues together with their peers as well as adults. The purpose of this essay is to gain insight on what adolescents between the age of 15 to 18 think about sex and relationships and their thoughts about sex education in school. It?s a qualitative study based on discussions with adolescents divided in four focus groups, two groups of girls and two groups of boys.

En central fråga är hur de framträdande stildragen i musiken skapar och påverkar musikens expansion och avspänning. Som analysmaterial har använts tre stycken ur körsviten O Mistress mine.

Studien jämför tv-serierna Girls och Entourage utifrån homosocialitet och samkönad vänskap, det vill säga bromance och womance som det i studien refereras till. Syftet var att undersöka om framställningen av homosocialitet och homosociala band såg olika ut, samt om detta stämde överens med tidigare studier och generella uppfattningar av homosocialitet i såväl mellanmänskliga relationer som i populärkulturen. Homosocialitet beskrivs som prefererade och uppskattade vänskapsrelationer mellan personer av samma kön. Homosocialitet och homosociala normer ligger därför till grund för könssegregering och exkluderandet av kvinnor genom att män tenderar att intressera sig för, välja och bekräfta andra män. Ju starkare homosociala band mellan män desto starkare är deras traditionella genusordning, tvärtom är kvinnans traditionella genusordning starkare om hennes homosociala band är svaga.

The study seeks to from professionals perspectives describe and analyze the beliefs they have about women with intellectual disabilities and their pregnancy and motherhood. We will also discuss and reflect on the possible support that professionals find important for women to handle pregnancy and motherhood. The information has been gathered through interviews with five different professions that have come in contact with the audience in their work. In our material we found three distinctive perspectives: a child´s perspective, a parent´s perspective and a community perspective. From these perspectives, we could find many similarities in the informants´ perceptions, which resulted in different themes.

The purpose of this essay is to examine how young members of Free Churches relate to issues connected with lifestyle and identity, based on the changed conditions for the self in late modernity. More specifically, I want to examine how they deal with the increased degree of detraditionalisation and institutional individualization in late modernity.My research-question is:How do young members of Free Churches relate to issues connected with lifestyle and identity, with the increased degree of personal freedom and institutional individualization in late modernity as a starting point?The empiric part of the essay is carried out by qualitative in-depth interviews with five young members of Free Churches. These semi-structured interviews are focused on a number of different areas of the changed conditions for the self in late modernity.My theoretical perspective has been constructed from the theories of Anthony Giddens, Zygmunt Bauman, Ulrich Beck and Elisabeth Beck-Gernsheim. From these theories a focus on certain relevant areas of the condition of the self in late modernity, has developed.

Organisationskultur är det arbetsklimat och de arbetssätt som företag skapar utifrån sina värderingar och visioner. En central aspekt av organisationskultur är att förmedla företagets värderingar och få medarbetare att göra värderingarna till sina egna, för att på så sätt förbättra företagets produktivitet och resultat. Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka hur strategier för att förmedla organisationskultur på en arbetsplats kan skapa motivation och samtidigt styra de anställda. För att undersöka detta genomfördes en kvalitativ studie på ett rekryteringsföretag, där tio semistrukturerade intervjuer genomfördes med anställda på olika positioner. Fokus låg på att få en helhetsbild av företagets kultur och arbetssätt för att se hur dessa kan motivera och styra de anställda.

The aim of this study is to find out what education in literature is like from a student perspective; what kind of literature the students read and how well they understand literature, and the methods and didactics used during the literature lessons. The questions at issue are:1) What kind of literature do the students read?2) How well do the students understand literary texts?3) What do the students think about their literature education?To be able to answer the questions, both quantitative and qualitative methods have been used in the study. The inquiry was accomplished on 29 students, 17 boys and 12 girls in the upper secondary school. The result showed, despite the limited amount of students, interesting facts.

The purpose of the current study is to present an interpretation of Eros and its demonical aspect as it is described in Plato?s dialogues Phaedrus and The Symposium as well as to attempt to throw some light over the question in which way the erotic as such influences Plato?s notion of how to pursue philosophy. In the first part of the essay an account is given of the Platonic Eros as a unifying element and as striving for being. I defend the position that in the context of the interpreted dialogues philosophy is thought of as an erotic enterprise which takes place as a coming closer to the object of Love. This coming closer takes place as remembering in Phaedrus and as creating in beauty in The Symposium.

How the Eucharist?s motive of communion in combination with Lögstrup?s ethics could motivate a non-alcoholic sacramental wine in the Church of Sweden.The purpose of this essay is to illuminate the meeting between the person who gives out bread and wine in the Eucharist and the person who receives the wine, from tree perspectives: the communion in the Eucharist, the ethical demand of K.E. Lögstrup, and today?s knowledge of alcohol and it?s negative effects on the human being. I want to study how these three perspectives can affect the interpersonal meeting in the Eucharist when it comes to giving out alcoholic wine, and to investigate if Lögstrups ethical demand could be used by the Church of Sweden when to decide about a sacramental wine with or without alcohol.I have started to study K.E Lögstrup and his theory about the ethical demand, and then researched the Eucharist in the Church of Sweden and the results of recent sociological and medical research of alcohol?s effect on the individual and on society.

The Swedish emigrants, in 1901-1904, were displeased with their home country, so they moved to America with hope to find a better life. Even though they were displeased they still had a great Love for their home country and tried to either create a ?new Sweden? (the Swedish-Americans), or they traveled back to their families, hopefully with savings big enough to buy their own home. Sweden did not have a homestead act like the Americans did, which probably is the biggest reason to the emigration. There was also the question of each individual?s right to vote.

Uppdragsgivaren har konstruerat ett rörramschassimed reducerad vikt jämfört med konkurrerande produkter, samttagit fram en digital modell som visats för investerare i och i press. En nysvensk snöskoter välkomnas av marknaden men den digitala modellens formgivninghar fått negativ respons. För att den första produkt som företagetlanserar skall bli konkurrenskraftig måste de konsultera designkompetens.Uppdraget har varit att ta fram ett koncept för en sportsnöskoter, som svararmot marknadens önskemål och profilerar det nystartade företaget. De undersökningarsom genomförts innefattar: Marknadsanalys med fokus påkonkurrenter, en webbaserad kvantitativ brukarundersökning, testkörningaroch utvärdering av konkurrerande fabrikat.
