During the autumn of 2010 a group of parents met together with two therapist at Mini Maria Hisingen. These parents did have children who had experience of using drugs. This study purpose´s to describe, analyze and understand what has been effective in the work together with this group of parents.The interrogative sentence is; Did we use a narrative approach and what impact did this approach had on the groupprocess? What did the group sessions contribute to the parents and would they recommend other parents to participate in similar sessions? All the sessions were recorded in video. The work was highly inspired by Michael White and his book Maps (2007).

The aim of this literature review was to put together scientific knowledge about the need of sexuality among elderly people, so that the nurse in the future can use this knowledge in nursing. The research questions that will be answered are: In what extent do elderly people have the need to experience sexuality? In what extent do elderly people have the possibility to practice their sexuality? In what degree do the nursing staff respect and understand elderly people's need of sexuality? How can nursing staff support elderly people in their sexuality? The method used to answer the research questions was analysis and interpretation of ten scientific articles. The results, which are presented within ten categories, shows that elderly people have a need of sexuality. Loneliness, lack of privacy and knowledge and attitudes are factors that affect elderly people's possibility to express their sexuality.

The aim of this study was to understand how social workers deal with honour-related violence, with special focus on the processing from sheltered housing. Our qualitative interviews with social workers that work with this kind of problems show that there are both obstacles and opportunities in the processing from sheltered housing. On the negative side are the Loneliness, the shame and the guilt that the girls may experience when they need to leave their families. The social services can both be an obstacles and an opportunity. When the girls need to create a new life in a new city they have a lot of opportunities and in the same time it is hard to get to know new friends when you don´t know the city or have much money.

The purpose of this essay was to examine what social functions the local pub provides to its regular frequenters, as well as the significance of the pub in the regulars? life. Essential questions were: For what purpose do the regular frequenters visit the pub? What are the routines of the pub visit? Can regular frequenters be viewed as a homogenous group, and if so, what are the prevailing norms in the group? How do the regulars perceive the staff, does the staff influence the regulars´ choice of pub? How does the staff perceive the regular frequenters?Our method was a qualitative case study based on participant observation and eight interviews with regular frequenters on a particular pub in Malmoe, Sweden.The main conclusion of this essay was that the relationship between the regular and the pub was much deeper than we initially thought. In addition to drinking beer, they also visited the pub to avoid Loneliness, find fellowship and socialize with people who have similar backgrounds and values.

Emotionell intelligens (EI) handlar om förmågan att identifiera och hantera egna och andras emotioner. Forskning har visat att hög EI var relaterat till flera livsområden såsom hälsa i form av mindre stress och kvalité på sociala relationer. Studien syftade till att undersöka samband mellan EI och följande: social förmåga, ensamhet och balans mellan studier/fritid hos sammanlagt 141 högskolestuderande. Mätinstrumentet var kvantitativt bestående av Internetbaserade Big Five Plus (L. Sjöberg, 2007) samt en pappersenkät.

The study aims to study how the litterature describes the reasons why young men commit sexual abuse. It also aims to explore what is described to be effective treatment of young men who committed sexual abuse. The study found that most of the young men who commit sexual abuse comes from families where violence and psycohological abuse occurs. Many have themselves been victims of sexual abuse.

Stroke are a common disease and it comes with big chances of disability after rehabilitation. Life after stroke can bring a different lifestyle and lots of feelings around this situation. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze how people feel after being injured with stroke. Method: We have assumed that studying qualitative research articles according to Evans description of content analysis. Information has been sought in the databases Cinahl, PubMed and Discovery Results: The study results in four themes; Loneliness, trust, Despair and obstacles to health.

We want to get a further insight into howthey feel about their situation and what the social encounters on the language café mightmean to them. The purpose is to examine how this can have significance for the identitydevelopment of the visitors.The result shows that the language café is an important place for the visitors because itis the only place they can go to in order to practice speaking Swedish, which isimportant for them to find their place in Sweden. The language café also fulfils animportant function of a place where the visitors can receive an understanding of theSwedish society and reflect about it, but also a place for self-reflection to see theopportunities in the situations they find themselves in.

Antalet äldre människor i Sverige ökar. Ensamhet förekommer främst hos äldre och påverkar deras livskvalité. Det är viktigt att ha kunskap om äldre människors upplevelser av ensamhet för att kunna främja hälsa och välbefinnande. Syftet med denna studie är att belysa äldre människors upplevelser av ensamhet.En kvalitativ analysmetod vilket består av tre faser helhet-delar-helhet användes för att analysera data och datainsamling skedde genom intervjuer med nio äldre människor över 65 år. Intervjuerna spelades in på band och transkriberades.

Antalet äldre ökar både nationellt och internationellt. Ensamhet har rapporterats vara vanligare hos den äldre generationen och kan komma att bli ett växande hälsoproblem. Sjuksköterskan bör ha förmåga att stödja de äldre så att de kan bilda en meningsfull tillvaro både individuellt och i samspel med andra människor. Syftet med studien var att belysa upplevelsen av ensamhet hos äldre personer över 65 år. Studien genomfördes som en litteraturstudie med 12 vetenskapliga artiklar.

The purpose of this study was to examine how five mothers experience and cope with theloss of their adult children and also how this loss affect the mothers. We chose a qualitativemethod using semistructured interviews. We used Lazarus and Folkman?s coping theoryand Folkman?s revised coping theory in our analysis. The results showed that the mothers?experiences were very individual.

Background:Every year, in Sweden, 250 children and adolescents below 15 years of age are diagnosed with cancer. Over 75% of those diagnosed are cured. Cancer affects not only the child but the whole family. Siblings of the affected child can easily suffer from a lack of attention.Aim:This study aimed to illuminate siblings' experiences of living in a family with a child affected by cancer.Method:A literature-based study based on nine qualitative studies.Results:The result showed that it was important for siblings to have someone close and not be alone, they needed to feel a community. Not to know and not to understand what has happened made them to feel grief, fear, stress and jealousy.
