Energikartläggning hos RostiGP i Gislaved
In today?s modern age, energy consumption has become a major issue, both from an environmental viewpoint and cost perspective. Because of a rapid technologic change and increased costs of production of electricity, the demand to develop effective methods for energy efficiency industries have grown.The electricity-intensive industries, such as plastic industry, the demand to reduce energy consumption has grown significantly over the past 10 years, which have led to the development of different methods to determine and locate energy-consuming parts in the industry. This also means being able to prioritize and organize activities in the industry.In this study the measurements of voltage, current, power and PF performance on injection molding machines (K-TEC 275 form Ferromatik Milacron in Germany) with a focus to locate, within a machine, various measures that could improve energy use in the plastics industry, in this case RostiGP in Gislaved. These measurements have been carried out with the help of a power quality clamp meter to carry out time Logs of the machines for some time during normal word rate.

The supply of raw materials has always been an important issue in the Swedish Forest industry. Buying timber from local suppliers is important. To ensure raw materials to their industries the forest company must offer good prices and good business deals to their suppliers.
The aims with this work are to find out how the contact between private suppliers of raw materials and how the forest company can be developed.
To be able to do a complete study of the problems connecting with this subject a quality interview study has been done.

Svensk fartygsimport av fasta trädbaserade biobränslen ? en explorativ studie
Huvudsyftet med examensarbetet är att beräkna lönsamheten för fartygsimport av olika fasta trädbaserade biobränslen. Arbetet vänder sig i första hand till en läsare som har begränsade kunskaper om ämnet.Genom att använda teorier om sjöfartens grunder tillsammans med svensk erfarenhet av logistik, söker författaren finna samtliga steg och faktorer som ingår i importprocessen. Efter att delmomenten kartlagts, kan kostnader härledas och därefter är det möjligt att konstruera kalkyler för erhållande av en företagsekonomisk synvinkel på uppsatsen. Med hjälp av kalkyler och statistik kan analys av lönsamhet beroende på olika importval genomföras.Bränslena som berörs i studien är träbaserade pellets, träbaserade briketter, stamvedsflis samt rundved.Författaren vill även testa en hypotes som förts på tal under jägmästarutbildningen; att det skulle vara mer lönsamt att öka graden av vidareförädling så sent i försörjningskedjan som möjligt. Det innebär att det borde vara mer lönsamt att importera till exempel eukalyptusstammar från Sydamerika som sen sönderdelas vid den svenska industrin, än att transportera flis direkt från samma plats.Resultatet från kartläggning, datainsamling och kalkylering kan sammanfattas kort.

AimThe purpose of this study is to examine which tools teachers, teaching physical education, are using for assessment and grading in primary schools.IssuesHow it is perceived by teachers to assess and grade the students? How have the assessment and grading tools been developed?How do the teachers document what they assess and grade?How do the teachers communicate to the students what they assess and grade?MethodThe study has a qualitative approach in which the study design is represented by several semi-structured qualitative interviews. The semi-structured interview guide was authored using the foundations of ramfaktorteorin and an overall hermeneutisk approach. The interviews were then carried out with six physical education and health teachers from the Stockholm area. The interviews were recorded with a voice recorder and transcribed.

This MSc thesis is divided into two parts. The first part deals with the need for information
from forest campartments selected for clear cutting, in connection with planning in an
integrated forest- and sawmill enterprise. A review of literature is followed by a case stud y,
where present conditions in a Swedish forest company are compared with current research in
the area. The seeond part consists of a simulation stud y, which aims at camparing the
accuracy of inventory estimates using different methods. The estimates are delivery forecasts,
covering one month consumptian of timber in a large sawmill.

Forestry and forest products are vital components of the Swedish economy but the forest is also important for recreation, hunting, out-door life and conserving biodiversity. The Swedish Forest Act has two equally important objectives, production and environmental protection. Polytax is the Swedish Forest Agency´s inventory programme which monitors progress toward the two objectives in connection with regeneration fellings. It includes data on environmental protection measures taken in connection with regeneration fellings. 30 § of the Swedish Forestry Act and related regulations specify the demands for conserva-tion of nature.

A high amount of dead wood is one of the most important prerequisites for high biodiversity on forest land in Sweden. Dead wood is most abundant in young forests, thinned forests, woodland key habitats and protected forest land. In old-growth forests most of the dead wood consists of Logs and snags, whilst in managed forests a huge proportion of dead wood is made up of logging residues like stumps and FWD, fine woody debris (< 10 cm diameter). All these different types of dead wood may serve as substrates for epixylic bryophytes and lichens. However, few studies have been conducted on the relative importance of these different fractions of dead wood for the occurrence of bryophytes and lichens, especially when considering dead wood on thinned forest land.

The most predominant method for forest harvesting in Sweden is the cut-to-length method based on two-machines, a harvester that fells trees and cut them in a predefined length, and a forwarder which transports Logs to a landing area for further transport to a processing facility. New machine solutions have to be much gentler to the ground than today?s machines. To be able to develop a forestry machine that preserves the terrain requires a proper understanding of the interaction between tire and soil.The goal of the project is to contribute to the existing knowledge of forest machine tire-soil interaction and to develop a tire-soil model that enables dynamic simulations of forest machines operating in rough terrain. The modeling has especially been focused on the interaction between tires and soft ground.A comparison of theoretical data of different WES-based terrain interaction models and a comparison test data from a full scale field test is presented.
