Under 2005 startade Scania i egen regi ett läs- och skrivprojekt med mål att höja medarbetarnas läs- och skrivkompetens. 13.5 % av medarbetarna i motormonteringen anmälde sig till läs- och skrivprojektet. För att se vilket genomslag utbildningen har gett har vi anlitats av Scania för att utvärdera projektet. Syftet med vår studie är att utifrån djupintervjuer med Scanias motorbyggare undersöka skriftens betydelse i motorverkstaden samt söka svar på vad läs- och skrivutbildningen har betytt för motorbyggarna.

This work is a study of the Swedish composer Allan Pettersson (1911?1980) and his personal archive stored at Section for Manuscripts and Music at Uppsala University Library. My issues are What happens to the archive of the digitized? Will there be a "new" archive of the digitized? What guidelines are Uppsala University Library using for their digitizing and how do they look? What will be the result after digitization? What about copyright and the material? Allan Pettersson's personal papers consist a large collection of sketches of musical notes, newspaper clippings and concert programs.

Research has shown that students with another mother tongue than Swedish terminate elementary school with lower grades in all subjects, compared to students having Swedish as a mother tongue. This fact justifies further research on the forms of teaching Swedish as a second language. Attention has been given to the fact that the students with another mother tongue than Swedish have to cope with "dual learning". Parallel to the learning of a second language they need to obtain knowledge in all other subjects. The purpose of this thesis is to investigate how the School organise the work with students having another mother tongue than Swedish, and to find out how teachers in other subjects solve the problem of having students that struggle with "dual learning".

This essay examines the role of repetition in the two novels Älskaren (The Lover) by Marguerite Duras and Den amerikanska flickan (The American Girl) by Monika Fagerholm, through a thematic and comparative reading. The study mainly uses Bruce F. Kawin?s analysis of repetition in literature and language as well as it refers to Cathy Jellenik and her analysis of rewriting in the works of Duras. The writing style of a particular author can be divided into many subfeatures, for example use of words, language and syntax. Focusing on the latter, this study aims to show how well syntactic information alone can attribute the correct author to a document. Syntactic information is defined as overlapping syntactic subtrees of height one (1) for all sentences of all included documents. The performance is compared to that of the previously very successful method of comparing stop word frequencies. These are words normally excluded from search engine queries, because they are present in all sorts of texts regardless of topic.

Special education teachers inclusive work, based on a goal of a school for all - in relation to students who have dyslexia and reading and writing difficulties. Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur specialpedagoger ser på målsättningen en skola för alla och hur de arbetar utifrån den i förhållande till elever som har dyslexi samt läs- och skrivsvårigheter. Undersökningar har gjorts på specialpedagogers arbetsmetoder och hjälpmedel när det gäller att arbeta inkluderande med elever som har dyslexi samt läs- och skrivsvårigheter utifrån målsättningen - en skola för alla. Intervjuer genomfördes på två olika skolor samt utfördes det en observation.

Studien syftar till att undersöka hur fyra svensklärare arbetar med skriftlig respons, vilka effekter den har på elevers skrivutveckling samt hur eleverna beskriver sina upplevelser av att motta respons. En kvalitativ metod har använts genom att fyra svensklärare på högstadiet har intervjuats. Därefter gjordes gruppintervjuer med fyra av respektive lärarrespondents elever. Intervjuerna analyserades och data kategoriserades i syfte att få svar på studiens frågeställningar, vilka är:? Vad beskriver lärarna att de fokuserar på i den skriftliga respons de ger till eleverna, på vilket sätt ger de respons och varför?? Vilka effekter beskriver lärarna att deras skriftliga respons har på elevernas skrivutveckling?? Hur beskriver eleverna sina upplevelser kring den respons de ges på sina skriftliga framställningar?Resultatet visar att lärarna arbetar med tre typer av respons: slutkommentarer, matriser och markeringar i elevtexten.

In musikklasser (a special musical training which focus on choral singing is offered in the Swedish compulsory school from the age of ten until the age of sixteen) teachers are working in a tradition where conventions relating to singing with children have developed in accordance with the Swedish choral tradition. In these classes, students are trained in large groups, usually around 30 students in one class. Furthermore, one teacher and 60 students is also frequent in schools with two or more parallell grades. In a large choir group, students develop their skill in choral singing, which includes the development of general musical knowledge as well as the development of the individual singing voice of each student in order for the choir to be able to interpret and perform music with a communal musical expression. Thus, the complexity in this teaching and learning setting places high demands on the choir teachers? ability to use appropriate teaching and learning strategies in order to develop the specific musical skill required in a choir.In this study, two choral teachers´ interaction with their choir class were investigated.

In my essay, I write about the work at a pre-school in a segregated suburb. I begin my essay with examples from my workday. In one case, it is about Sara, playing games where other children are excluded and she also exhibits a power game towards me. In the second example, it is about how a group of children conspire and expose both themselves and others for destructive conspiracy patterns. When I write down what happens in the group of children at my pre-school, I see patterns reminiscent of destructive gangs.
