We have chosen to focus on the meaning of long-term income support dependency regarding health, goal setting and motivation for the recipient of economical aid. We have chosen to use semi structurized interviews to achieve our goal of reaching the clients experience of long-term income support dependency. The study consists of interviews of six clients whose answers have been analyzed through appliance of Kielhofner´s Model of human occupation, Scheff´s Shame in self and society.   Our results show regarding, 1) the factor health that long-term income support dependency may elevate the risk of illness and less experienced options of possibilities to act. 2) regarding the factor goal setting, that goals may be inefficiently used during social work with long-term income support dependent clients and may result in a disorganized relationship between client and social worker in the sense of making the parties pull in opposite direction. 3) regarding the factor motivation, that long-term income support dependency and the Living with the emotion of shame elevates the risk of maintaining a negative image of oneself that limits the willpower to assimilate new knowledge and/or skills.

The way towards an equal society, where both women and men has the same possibilities both private and in professional life, has been a long and still ongoing process. During my practical studies to become a recreation instructor I have noticed a difference between the children I have met in my workplace. What I saw was that girls and boys had a different approach towards their future, plus that the pedagogues at the school had different roles depending if they were men or women.In this study I have investigated which dreams and visions a group of after-school children has, plus how these distinguish between the genders. I have through group interviews, first three boys and then three girls, investigated how children look at their future focusing on career, spare time and familysituation. The questions have also focused on how children look at the schools pedagogues with gender as a premiss.My result shows that the children's vision on their future tends to look different between the genders.

The survey is a qualitative study that aims to investigate the ethnic housing segregation in the residential area around Malmvägen that is located in Sollentuna. Malmvägen is a millionprogramarea that?s made up of unattractive tall buildings with grey facades. The majority of the residents have foreign backgrounds and the unemployment rate is high among the youths in the area. The apartment rents on Malmvägen are low and many of the residents belong to the subclass of society.

ABSTRACTOverweight and obesity is an increasing problem worldwide although high-income countries take a leed. High BMI during pregnancy and delivery constitute to many risks for both the mother and her outcome. Intervention programmes with the purpose to get the pregnant women to eat healthier and to excercise more are now working out in many different shapes. The effect of these activities varies. The aim of this study was to investigate if interventions during pregnancy, with women who?s BMI are 25 or more, affects health of the mother and her expected child, delivery outcome and self estimated health.

This study represents seven adolescents? perspective on online poker gambling. The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe adolescents? thoughts and experiences of online poker gambling, thus gaining a deeper knowledge and understanding of how gambling affects youths in their Living conditions and in their identity development. This was done by studying the symbolism and meaning that gambling has in these youths every day live and in their identity development.

I Sverige drabbas varje år ungefär 12 000 personer av afasi och av dessa är cirka 35 % i yrkesverksam ålder. Afasi är en samlingsbeteckning för skador som drabbar språkförmågan. Dessa skador kan medföra olika konsekvenser för individen och de kan påverka kommunikationen i livet och vardagens aktiviteter. I arbetsterapeutens roll, ingår det att hjälpa den som har drabbats av afasi att hitta strategier och möjligheter för att klara sig i vardagen, därför behövs kunskap om behandlingsmetoder för personer med afasi. Generellt syftar behandling vid afasi till att förbättra språkförmågan.

The avowed aim in this project was to see how the Swedish egg production is today. My first question was if the Swedish egg producers egg production turn a profit. I have done five after calculation at five different egg producers with different systems from case to case. The difference has been the Living system, the fodder and the egg price. They made a report in Uppsala, Sweden (Hoffman & Andersson, 1996), where the look forward to a Swedish cage ban and made calculations after that coming ban. After that they lift the Swedish ban of cages and the egg producers could invest in new cages who called the decorated cage.

Syftet med studien var att beskriva erfarenheter som hemtjänstpersonal har av handledning. Metoden var kvalitativ, med enskilda, öppna intervjuer. Sju personer som arbetar i kommunal hemtjänst intervjuades. Intervjumaterialet analyserades med kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Resultatet visar att samarbete mellan arbetsterapeut och hemtjänstpersonal är en förutsättning för att arbetsterapeutens insatser ska komma brukaren till nytta.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how the process and result of renovations in socioeconomic vulnerable areas affect the residents' right to housing; with a focus on women's experiences of their homes, their area, the housing company's apartment renovations. The study is conducted through two research questions: How do the women in L?vg?rdet experience their homes and the area? And how do the women in L?vg?rdet experience the process and the result of the renovations of the rental apartments? The methodology used is qualitative research interviews. The empirical material was gathered through qualitative interviews. Eight women Living in L?vg?rdet have been interviewed.

Bakgrund: Amyotrofisk lateralskleros är en neurologisk sjukdom som i Sverige drabbar cirka 200 personer varje år. Sjukdomen är progressiv och gör att den drabbade personen förlorar kroppsliga funktioner och avlider oftast inom fem år. Att arbeta med personer som har en dödlig sjukdom kräver inte bara kunskap om sjukdomen utan också om hur personer upplever att leva med sjukdomen. Syfte: Syftet var att beskriva personers upplevelser av att leva med Amyotrofisk lateralskleros. Metod: En allmän litteraturstudie baserad på nio vetenskapliga artiklar genomfördes.

The objective of this thesis was to investigate what influence nature conservation measures taken at regeneration felling. Factors analysed were the forest owners´ situation and their characters, and information activities from wood-suppliers and the Regional Forest Board (RFB). The inventory was performed with a posted questionnaire followed up by telephone to forest owners and a posted questionnaire to wood-buyers. The forest owners were grouped in three strata, depending on the quality results (D- polytax inventory) of the taken forest conservation measures, and for this investigation forest owners were sampled from the population in the tree groups. In total 73 % (41/56) of the sampled forest owners answered the questionnaire Group A (17 answers): Good judgement Group B (19 answers): Bad judgement Group C (5 answers): This group was formed from the forest owners that were informed, by RFB, about nature conservation measures and culture history consideration before the regeneration cutting.

Aim. The aim of this study is to analyze the Living conditions of physically disabled people from the viewpoint of sexuality issues with regards to personal assistance services, identity and attitudes in society on disability and sexuality. Background. Not much research is done on sexuality issues for physically disabled people. Even though we live in a society where sexuality takes up a lot of space in the media, the culture and is acknowledged to be of great importance for every person?s wellbeing, the sexuality of disabled people is often not recognized and discussed.

Society is characterized by patterns of behavior and interaction that is created and recreated inthe interplay between individuality/collectivity and freedom/constraint, thus represents avariety of social issues and social phenomena. One of these phenomena is social supportexchanges and social capital. In order to obtain views on how this might appear in a specificsociety and contribute to the knowledge about social support exchanges and social capital, thisstudy was done with seven families in a village in Nepal. The village and the families gave aview and an example of how it might look in a place where social support exchanges plays acrucial role in this way of Living. Through observations and interviews I have tried to make thesocial support exchange areas and meanings visibile.

Uppsatsen undersöker via fem intervjuer hur biståndshandläggare resonerar kring ett biståndsärende gällande hemtjänstinsatser i äldreomsorgen och hur de motiverar sina bedömningar och beslut. Intervjuerna har företagits på biståndsenheten i Östersund i Jämtlands län. En vinjett som beskriver ett påhittat biståndsärende har stått som utgångspunkt för alla intervjuer och en fenomenologisk hermeneutisk analysmetod har använts vid framtagandet och tolkandet av resultaten.Resultaten som framkommit i studien antyder att biståndshandläggarna i Östersund tenderar att se till både sociala, fysiska, medicinska och psykiska behov hos kunden vid biståndsbedömning. När det kommer till gränssättning av hemtjänstinsatsers omfattning tenderar handläggarna också att vara relativt generösa i sina bedömningar. Hur gränserna sätts verkar emellertid vara något otydligt, delvis eftersom de inte har hjälp av några fastställda riktlinjer och att begreppet skälig levnadsnivå är så pass svårdefinierat.Förslag på framtida forskning, som ges i uppsatsen, är dels att utreda om det stämmer att biståndshandläggarna i Östersund är lika bra på att se helhetsbilden vid biståndsbedömning som studiens resultat föreslår.

When unlimited tax liability exists, the individual is liable for all income, both which originates from other countries as well as from Sweden. In order for unlimited tax liability to exist the individual needs to either be considered a resident in Sweden, have habitual abode here or if previous residence existed, that the essential linkage still consists. To determine whether an essential linkage exists, the factors set out in the third chapter 7 § IL shall be considered, an overall assessment of all relevant circumstances must be made. In case law however, it appears that three of the factors have been given greater importance, one of which is the factor residence for year-around use, which includes both residence for permanent use and residence used for recreational purposes. The question raised in this thesis is whether the factor residence for year-round use is still regarded as a sufficiently strong basis to independently induce essential linkage for the taxpayer.A big difference between the two housing types exists.
