Aktivitens betydelse för åldersrelaterad kognitiv försämring
The current paper compares the relations between different measures of activity and some common neuropsychological tests. One-hundred and fifty five healthy elderly, aged 55 - 85, living in Sweden were included. Gender-specific patterns were found for both activities and correlations between activities and cognitive measures. The main findings suggest that activities are associated with cognitive speed in men, whereas, for women, active and passive activities correlate, positively and negatively accordingly, with education. In comparison, complex models of activity outperform simpler ones and theory-driven measures just barely outperform intuitive models..

The integration policy in Sweden shall encourage individuals to support themselves and take part in society. It shall alsocontribute to equal rights and opportunities for women as well as for men. In Borlänge this has resulted in a program ofintroduction for new arrivals from other countries. However, at the unit responsible for economic support, they havediscovered that women with immigrant background more often than men seem to have trouble starting or became to anending of the program, which then especially leads women to a long-term dependence for economic support. The purpose of this study has therefore been to investigate what factors affect immigrant women?s participation in theintroduction, and what significance this participation has for their possibilities to become economically self-supporting,and integrated into Swedish society.

This study explores the possibility to find a responsive solution for the product menu at Stadiums? e-commerce website which could contribute to increased conversion rates.The study is built upon an experiment and the foundations of the experiment is based upon a market analysis of used design patterns for product navigation in the domain of sport resellers.

Humans have always been fascinated by the thought of bringing non living objects to life. We
wanted to explore the possibilities of trying to create an artefact that the audience would
consider possess emotional states and have a life of its own.
TaS is a interactive chair that functions as a social entity. The idea is to try and enhance the
bond between human and artefact, based upon the emotional connection. We try and produce,
enhance and maintain this bond through curiosity based interaction.

In this study we will be accentuating and therefore be focusing on how young men are living their lives with criminality. In this study we have analyzed the underlying factors for what the causes and reasons are for young men to be part of the criminal life. One basic and underlying factor is families, growth, friendships and economic resources.
Talar kvinnor och män samma språk? : En intervjuundersökning av män och kvinnors vardagsspråk i Halmstad
The purpose of this study is to determine if and how male or female everyday languagesdiffer. The study is based on ten interviews with five men and five women living inHalmstad, who are between the ages of 22-29. The interview results were analyzed andcompared with previous research on the subject. The result shows that there is adifference between the male and female informants use of language. Women laughing,using italics, hedges, the word så ?so? and response signals to a greater degree than men.The reason may be that men and women basically use different conversation styleswhen they communicate, that men prefer a public speech, intended to provideinformation and knowledge.
Fallet Bengtsfors kommun : förslaget om en ny automatiserad resursfördelningsmodell
I och med den lagförändring som trädde i kraft den 1 januari 2004, då räddningstjänstlagen ersattes av lagen om skydd mot olyckor, lades större vikt på den enskildes ansvar. Ägare eller nyttjanderättshavare av byggnader och anläggningar ska själva ansvara för säkerheten, vilket innebär ett större behov av kunskap inom området. Luftfartsverket, som tidigare hållit utbildningar internt inom brand, räddning och säkerhet, har nu valt att lansera denna tjänst till externa kunder, för att bättre kunna nyttja den kunskap och arbetskraft de besitter. Vi har fått i uppdrag av Luftfartsverket att undersöka attityder till och behov av utbildningar inom brand, räddning och säkerhet hos potentiella kunder.Vårt syfte med denna uppsats är att undersöka hur behoven av utbildningar inom brand, räddning och säkerhet ser ut hos de potentiella kunderna Scandic Karlstad, Fryksdalens Sparbank samt ICA Maxi Karlstad. Genom att ställa kundernas behov mot hur utformningen av den kommande tjänsten är tänkt att se ut har vi för avsikt att identifiera eventuella brister i hur väl de överensstämmer och genom det få fram hur Luftfartsverket kan använda sig av den informationen för att presentera en attraktiv tjänst och därigenom skapa nöjda kunder.Vår studie baseras på teorier kring marknadsföring och innovationer.
Bloggen som marknadsföringskanal och varumärkesbyggare - En studie ur bloggskribenternas perspektiv i relation till företagens
Syftet med uppsatsen var att ta reda på vilka bloggstrategier några av Sveriges framstående bloggskribenter använt/använder för att nå framgång med sin blogg, hur de skapat sig ett framgångsrikt personligt varumärke via bloggen, samt vad de tror motiverar företag att använda deras blogg som marknadsföringskanal. Bloggskribenternas syn kompletteras med två företags perspektiv på fenomenet, dels ett företag som arbetar som annonsförmedlare mellan företag och bloggare, dels ett modeföretag som har god vana av denna marknadsföringskanal. För få frågeställningarna besvarade har en kvalitativ studie genomförts med hjälp av en webbenkät med totalt elva respondenter. Resultatet visade att bloggskribenterna själva anser att de inte använder några utstuderade bloggstrategier för att nå framgång. Vidare visade resultatet att skapandet av ett personligt varumärke via en blogg möjliggörs av en utav bloggaren utmärkande personlighet och bloggstrategier.
Att få stroke i Örebro län - Uppföljning av vårdkvalitet och upplevelser av stöd, vård och rehabilitering
Background: Various follow-up studies show that there are deficiencies in the care of patients affected by stroke. In order to provide good care according to the National Board of health and welfare and national guidelines for stroke care systematic quality audits need to be carried out.Purpose: To investigate if the local guidelines for stroke care in Örebro County are followed and to explore how people with stroke experience care and rehabilitation in hospital, primary care and community.Method: Primary health care records were reviewed using quality indicators in the local stroke guidelines. Samples of patients were obtained from the County´s three hospitals. Differences between men and women, younger and older, were analysed with chi-squared test. Eleven people were interviewed about their experiences of care, rehabilitation, support and participation.

Bearing this in mind, we can see that Event Marketing, witch is marketing through events, has grown to be a popular form of communication as it has an ability to work its way through the existing media noise. Through events a company can strengthen its brand and image as well as form a lasting relationship with its consumers. What other functions does Event Marketing possess? In what context is Event Marketing an appropriate marketing strategy to use? These are two questions that we aim to answer through this essay.To be able to answer these questions we interviewed the marketing manager of two different companies, L´oréal and TeliaSonera.

The aim of the study was to investigate if some selected recipes could be hazardous for man; that is if pathogenic bacteria in raw ingredients could survive the cooking process. The study included three known pathogens, Listeria monocytogenes, Salmonella Typhimurium and Campylobacter jejuni. A known number of the bacterium chosen was added to the raw product. The dish was prepared according to the recipe and then a bacteriological investigation concerning the added pathogenic bacterium was performed. Analys av bostadsrättspriset i Stockholms innerstad : En multipel linjär regression
In this study a multiple linear regression was carried out in the interest of analysing a number of variables effect on the final prices of apartments in Stockholm?s inner districts. The result may be employed to predict and observe percentage changes on the final price of apartments in Stockholm in the future. Five models were constructed after which they were analysed and compared. The construction of these models were supported by data from the real estate agency Erik Olsson.
