I detta arbete redogör jag för hur jag går tillväga för att skapa en representation av en historisk plats. Som fall använder jag mig av Kilakastalen (ett medeltida försvars- och vakttorn) med kringliggande miljö för att visa hur den kan ha sett ut under medeltiden. Det gör jag i samarbete med Sörmlands museum där min kontakt har varit arkeolog Lars Norberg.För att komma fram till vilken teknik, bildvinkel och perspektiv som är bäst att använda i detta sammanhang utgår jag från vad arkeologerna vill visa, olika forskningsresultat och litteratur för att därefter redogöra för mitt resultat..

AbstractThe aim of this essay is to analyse the effects of women's representation on actual political outcome. Quantitative method and materials are used to study the consequences of women's political participation in Swedish municipals.Many theorists think that women have special interests, different from men?s, which is also the belief of this essay. This political interest is here defined as freedom from discrimination and violence against women. In order to see if this interest is present in local policy it is transformed into variables concerning whether the local authority has an equality plan, supports a local shelter for abused women and by how much money it supports women's shelter.

I samtliga fall kommer samma typer av människor till tals och de bilder som publicerar skildrar liknade motiv oavsett idrott eller fall..

It consists of an analysis of three works of art from three aspects: the work of art, the viewer and the situation, and eventuates in an analysis of how the works relate to representation and norms. AbstractIn this essay I am examining the representation of popmusic with particular focus on gender and identity in two youth magazines called Kamratposten and Julia. Using the method of Norman Faircloughs critical discourse analysis I have studied ten interviews with popmusicians from each magazine based on the theorys of representations, discourses within popularmusic and queer theory. The intention with this study was to examine how popularmusic is represented in youth magazines. If the magazines were reproducing femininity and masculinity in the interviews with the musicians, and in the representation of popmusic in the magazines. And also if there were any differences and similarities between the magazines regarding the representation of popmusicians.The analysis lead to the conclusions that how popmusic is represented in the magazines depends on what the magazines wan´t to represent on the basis of their target groups and ideologies.

Denna C-uppsats studerade ett urval av livsstilstidningen Vanity Fairs omslagsbilder med hjälp av en semiotisk analys. Detta för att belysa egenskaper i omslagsbilderna vilka kunde visa hur män och kvinnor representerades och vilka ideal rörande fysiska attribut de uppvisade. Detta var uppsatsens syfte och frågeställningarna beträffade hur representationen av könen såg ut, om det fanns några tydliga skillnader och hur könsrollerna såg ut då båda könen figurerade på ett omslag. Frågeställningarna rörde även vilka ideal för män och kvinnor om fysiska attribut, om några, som porträtterades på omslagsbilderna och om, och då i så fall hur, de avvek från idealen. Materialet bestod av sex omslagsbilder från Vanity Fairs utgåvor under 2011.

The purpose of this study was, if possible, to find a housing system for growing bulls that was as optimal as possible for the animal welfare. In order to select housing systems you must take into account the size of the group, body weight and the type of floor. Seven of the international most common housing systems were compared, straw bedding, deep straw bedding, sliding straw bedding, concrete slatted floor, rubber coated slatted floor, cubicles and feeding cubicles. Studies that have examined the proportion of tail, claw and leg injuries and the presence of unnatural behavior in the different systems. In summary, all studies showed that soft underlay were beneficial for the animals in terms of the proportion of bone lesions and swellings.

ABSTRACTClimate Change in the Daily PressAn Analysis of the Representation Swedish Daily Papers Convey Through Their Editorials About the Climate ChangeThe purpose of this essay is partly to present how swedish daily papers describe the climate change through their editorials and partly to examine if their politcal affiliation effect their point of view about the climate change. The search incluedes editorials from 6 daily papers (Aftonbladet, Dagens Nyheter, Expressen, Göteborgstidningen, Nerikes Allehanda and Svenska Dagbladet) from the year 1997 to the year 2003. Three discourses and the order between them, found by a former analysis (Adger and others, 2001) of the international politics of climate change, are used as types of ideal in a form of an analysis of idea.The analysis reveals that the swedish daily papers don?t give the problem any major attention. Only a total of 65 editorials about the climate change could be found even though the papers produces several thousands during the period.

Domestic violence against women is a widespread problem around the world, this study aims to investigate Swedish men?s attitudes towards this problem. To investigate this I have done a historic overview of the political attitude change and I interviewed two ethnic Swedish men and two men with a foreign background, this because to get a fair representation of our multicultural society. The results and conclusions is that the attitude haven?t changed that much over the years, it is mostly the latest decades that politicians and the medial debate have acknowledge the imbalance of power between the genders and that the patriarchy is a major factor towards this attitude.The interviewed showed that the men with foreign background had a tendency to have more traditionally attitude towards women then the Swedish men..

Fimpnedskräpning är ett problem ur flera aspekter. Fimparnas filter har en lång nedbrytnings­tid och innehåller tungmetallen kadmium, den lagras i allt organiskt. Med den största andelen av den totala mängden skräp har samhället varken råd att låta fimparna ligga kvar i naturen eller att plocka upp alla från densamma. Kemiskt och estetiskt såväl som ekonomiskt är fimp­ned­skräpningen ett dåtida, ett nutida och ett framtida problem. Lösningsförslag handlar ofta om restriktioner, ökade investeringar i renhållning eller tillgänglighet.

Uppsatsen är baserad på kritisk diskursanalys och syftar till att undersöka hur maskulinitet och femininitet representeras inom media. Det empiriska materialet består av två artikelserier från Insidan i Dagens Nyheter och behandlar ämnena boendets roll samt föräldrars sexualitet. Vilket görs genom att studera könsroller och karaktärsutveckling hos de kvinnliga och manliga huvudkaraktärerna. Uppsatsen ska undersöka karaktärsutvecklingen och identifieringen av de fyra kvinnliga huvudkaraktärerna samt de tre manliga huvudkaraktärerna i Sex and the City. Undersökningen ska utföras enligt en tolkande innehållsanalysmetod med hjälp av Peter Berglez metod för kritisk diskursanalys i Ekström & Larssons bok Metoder i kommunikationsvetenskap samt Norman Faircloughs metod för diskursanalys i Media Discourse. Analysen görs med fokus på likheter, skillnader och teman.
