This report discusses the development of lessons based on laborations for middle and high school.The purpose of the project was to research the possibility to affect students' attitude towards physicsthrough well-planned stimulating lessons. The lessons were based on the Light and Lasers OutreachKit, a teaching package made by the organisation Laser Classroom, and have been adapted for physicsin middle and high school. The lessons were developed on a pedagogical and didactical ground andwere improved with surveys and peer and self assessment. The lessons were based on laser light and itsproperties. One lesson covered the topic of single-slit diffraction, while the other treated geometricaloptics.

The effects of Reindeer mechanical damages on the planted regeneration of Pinus sylvestris and Pinus contorta. Semi-domesticated reindeer can damage young trees. In late winter reindeer rub their antlers against young trees. The aim of this study was to quantify those damages. This study covered planted objects from three different areas in northeastern Sweden.

Detta examensarbete omfattar konceptutvecklingen av en mättillsats för vattenkranen i köket, vars grundfunktion är att mäta mängden vatten. Syftet med produkten är att ersätta dagens användande av decilitermått vid vattenmätning, då decilitermåttet fortfarande fyller sin funktion inriktar sig arbetet på att utnyttja modern teknik för att med innovativa funktioner hitta nya omedvetna behov. Examensarbetet grundar sig på författarnas egen idé och behov av en sådan produkt, examensarbetet har utförts utan uppdragsgivare med handledning från tekniska högskolan i Jönköping.Rapporten beskriver hur arbetet har fortskridit från en idé till ett färdigt koncept med inriktning på designprocessen. Genomförandet innefattar att ett flertal koncept som har utvecklats med hjälp av metoder så som brainstorming och bygga-testa-metoden för att sedan sållas ut med hjälp av olika urvalsmetoder och resultera i ett slutgiltigt koncept.Det slutgiltiga konceptet resulterade i en mättillsatts som smälter in i det moderna köket. Hela konceptet har designats med målet att form ska följa funktion.

Denna rapport presenterar ett alternativt sätt att ljussätta terräng i datorgrafik. Tidigare modeller har vanligtvis byggt på lokal ljussättning, som inte tar hänsyn till kringliggande geometri, och har med en extra process approximerat effekten av ljusinteraktionen. Genom att använda sig av en teknik som kallas precomputed radiance transfer (PRT) kan man förberäkna hur en punkt interagerar med ljus för olika inkommande riktningar och undviker därmed att göra detta under programkörningen. Det är viktigt att denna teknik även fungerar tillsammans med level-of-detail (LOD) terrängrenderingsalgoritmer eftersom rendering av alla trianglar i terrängen för varje skärmuppdatering inte är optimalt för dagens grafikkort. Man vill därför representera den underliggande terrängen med fler trianglar närmare betraktaren och färre längre bort.

SammanfattningBakgrund: Fotboll är världens största lagidrott med ca 240 miljoner utövare runtom i väldren. Av dessa 240 miljoner är ca 20 miljoner kvinnor och 80% av dessa kvinnor är ungdomar eller juniorer. Accelerationshastighet anses vara en av de viktigaste fysiska egenskaperna hos fotbollsspelare.Syfte: Syftet med denna studie var att designa, genomföra och utvärdera ett träningsprogram för unga fotbollsspelande tjejer med syfte att öka accelerationshastigheten.Metod: 22 stycken tjejer (14,61 ± 1,03 år, 50,33 ± 5,05 kg, 160,16 ± 3,04 cm) tillhörande 2 olika fotbollslag delades in i 2 grupper, en testgrupp (TG) (n=8) och en kontrollgrupp (KG) (n=14). Träningsmängden för båda grupperna var 3 pass/vecka i 12 veckor. Ett pass/vecka var designat i syfte att öka accelerationshastigheten för TG.

Det nya betygssystemet och betygssättningen från och med årskurs sex börjar tillämpas i full skala i den svenska grundskolan från och med läsåret 2012/13. Denna studie har som syfte att undersöka lärares uppfattningar om denna förändring under en period när den faktiska betygssättningen av sjätteklassare ännu inte har ägt rum. Fyra skolor och 38 lärare deltog i undersökningen. Det teoretiska ramverket var ursprungligen framför allt nyinstitutionellt men även teori och forskning kring betyg och bedömning tas upp. Under undersökningens gång dök det också upp andra intressanta fynd. Att arbetssättet för lärare redan har påverkats i så stor utsträckning var oväntat och att så pass många lärare ändå uttryckte att deras elever i sexan, eller ännu tidigare upplevde så pass mycket stress, var också något oväntat. Dessa fynd analyseras och diskuteras också. Sammanfattningsvis tonar det fram en ganska problemfylld bild av den tidigarelagda betygssättningen i denna undersökning.

The study is aimed at investigating the images of God, or how God is percepted, that is beingpresented in the artistic work of Ingmar Bergman, and how they differ from each other. The filmsthat are being analysed in this study is The seventh seal (1957), The Magician (1958), Through aglass darkly (1961), Winter light (1963), The Silence (1963), Persona (1965) and Cries andwhispers (1973).To examine the images of God that are being presented throughout the scope of the study Iam mainly using common cinematic theories that are presented in James Monacos How to read afilm (2000) and Louis Giannettis Understanding film(1993) which basically are structuralistapproaches to discussing film as a language and interpretation.I am studying each movie as it is presented to us, the viewers, and only speaking of the film.I am also looking into Ingmar Bergmans personal life, not to examine if he was a Christian believer,but for clues to interpret themes, characters and the event taking place in each of the films. Thestudy is investigating the series of films as a connected unity, a connected unity that explores therelationship of God and mankind as it is presented in the films.The result of the study is that the image of God presented in the films of Ingmar Bergman isa God that moves from the transcendent sphere to the immanent sphere, a God, or ?the Holy? thatover the years transforms into something materialistic. This new God, or holiness, is something thatexists in the interpersonal relations of mankind in the latter work of Ingmar Bergman..

Inom redovisningsområdet finns två olika redovisningstraditioner, den kontinentala samt den anglosaxiska. Den kontinentala traditionen innebär mer reglerad redovisning än den anglosaxiska traditionen när det gäller formen på redovisningshandlingar, ordningsföljder i balans och resultaträkning. Sverige har länge följt den kontinentala traditionen men har mer och mer gått över till den anglosaxiska och det som finns kvar av det kontinentala är mest av formell karaktär. Medlemsstaterna i EU fick viss frihet i hur direktiven skulle implementeras samt uttolkas och det ledde till flera olika tolkningar av begreppet "true and fair view". I Sverige översattes begreppet "true and fair view" till rättvisande bild.

Ambitionen med mitt arbete var att skapa en vacker och intressant 3d-animation med den senaste datortekniken. Animationen bygger på redan befintliga skisser, idéer och material som jag har skapat de senaste två åren och ville avsluta i mitt kandidatarbete. Med detta arbete ville jag få mer förståelse för 3d-tekniken som ett konstverktyg och lära mig mer om hur man skapar grafik. Jag ville även öka min estetiska förmåga och kunskap. Genom att använda mig av grafikprogrammet ?Lightwave 3D? plus diverse andra applikationer som behandlar datorgrafik har jag skapat min film.

Bull terrier hereditary nephritis is caused by a mutation that leads to an inadequate synthesis of collagen type IV, which is an important component in the basement membranes. The inheritance of the mutation is autosomal dominant in bull terriers and progression to renal failure takes variable time, from several months to ten years. Proteinuria is the first clinical sign of the disease and the diagnosis is confirmed by transmission electron microscopy of renal tissue where typical ultrastructural changes in the glomerular basement membrane (GBM), thickening and multilaminar splitting are found. This study was performed in order to find out the occurrence of hereditary nephritis in bull terriers in Sweden through examination of urine samples and renal tissue and comparisons with how the disease is described in the literature. Urine samples from 76 Swedish bull terriers were collected and examined for proteinuria.

Interior window shutters can be found in historical buildings, but they are an uncommon occurrence in modern buildings. In modern contemporary construction, large glass panels are often the ideal because of increased light inflow and for architectural purposes. However, this can generate several negative effects, such as increased energy loss, lack of privacy and high sunlight penetration. Problems that window shutters could have accommodated historically. This thesis identifies a lack of knowledge about interior window shutters in the Swedish building stock.

In a multi-year project at Swerea Swecast AB studies on influence of dissolved gas on inclusions have been made. The knowledge about these parameters could be used to increase the quality of the final steel casting. The purpose of this thesis was to closer examine the impact of the oxygen level on inclusions.The questions asked were:? What was the amount of inclusions at different levels of oxygen?? What was the size of these inclusions at different levels of oxygen?? What does the inclusions consist of at different levels of oxygen?This was studied by measuring and sampling, sample preparation and microscopic analysis using an optical microscope and a scanning electron microscope (SEM). Measurements and sampling was performed at Smålands Stålgjuteri AB in Eksjö and at Swerea Swecast AB in Jönköping.
