Sweden?s environmental work is to set out from 16 national environmental quality objectives. It aims to work for a sustainable society and to solve our current environmental problems today and not pass them on to future generations. The purpose of this study was to evaluate Uppföljning av handlingsprogram för miljömål (a follow up-study of a programme for environmental quality objectives) and to propose new methods to work with the revision of Handlingsprogram ? så genomför vi de regionala miljömålen i Hallands län (a programme to implement the regional environmental quality objectives in the County of Halland), a revision which will start in autumn 2010.

Bakgrund: Bakgrunden innehåller dels fakta om ryggmärgsskador och deras förekomst, dels förklaringar av begreppet livskvalitet och i viss mån även begreppet hälsa. Livskvalitet visade sig vara ett mångdimensionellt begrepp med många olika förklaringar och betydelser. Syfte: Att belysa livskvalitet hos personer med förvärvad ryggmärgsskada. Metod: Studien grundas på tre självbiografiska böcker och är en kvalitativ litteraturstudie. I studien kombineras Graneheim och Lundmans (2004) innehållsanalys med WHO:s mätinstrument för livskvalitet ? WHO Quality of Life (WHOQOL). Resultat: I resultatet användes WHOQOL:s områden för att bilda de sex kategorierna: Psykisk hälsa, Sociala relationer, Miljö, Grad av självständighet, Kroppslig hälsa och Religion. Under dessa kategorier framkom olika subkategorier.

Bakgrund:Under de senaste decennierna har det skett en förändring med minskadsvårighetsgrad av symtom och en minskad dödlighet vid stroke. Termen ?minor stroke?används för patienter med milda neurologiska handikapp. Inom hälso- och sjukvården görsbedömningen att dessa patienter inte har funktionsnedsättningar och förväntningarna är attde ska återhämta sig snabbt. Detta är den vanligaste stroke diagnosen men ändå den som fårminst uppmärksamhet både kliniskt och vetenskapligt.Syfte:Syftet med undersökningen var att beskriva patienters erfarenhet efter minor stroke.Metod:Kvalitativ ansats med intervju som insamlingsmetod.

According to statistics, a significant increase in sickness has occurred in the public sector in recent decades in Sweden. Human therapeutic professions is the area where the illness is most prevalent. The purpose of this study was through a qualitative method and hermeneutic approaches explore how conscious six social workers in the social services are on stress and how they cope with it. Further it investigates and analyzes how these results affect their daily work.One important result due to stress is that the social workers ability to treat their clients is impaired and they are less able to be empathetic. Inadequacy in the work environment leads to a sense of insufficiency by social workers, and a reduced quality of life.

En hel del tidigare forskning tyder på att ha en balans mellan arbetsliv och privatliv är viktigt för att uppleva ett psykiskt välmående samt för att kunna prestera bra på arbetsplatsen. Då verkstadschefer på ett industriföretag genomgår ett stort förändringsarbete undersöktes hur fem manliga chefer upplevde sin balans mellan privatliv och arbetsliv. Delsyften med studien var att undersöka hur chefens roll i privatlivet påverkade balansen, i vilken grad stöd hemifrån påverkade balansen samt vilka konsekvenser en balans eller konflikt skulle kunna få. Studien genomfördes kvalitativt, med en semistrukturerad intervjuguide, där samtliga respondenter var påverkade av förändringsarbetet. Resultatet visade att det fanns verkstadschefer som upplevde en konflikt mellan arbetsliv och privatliv men även de som upplevde en balans.

Multipel skleros, MS, är en kronisk neurologisk, autoimmun sjukdom, som oftast debuterar hos personer mellan 20-40 år, mest kvinnor. Det är cirka en per tusen invånare som insjuknar. Sjukdomen orsakar funktionsnedsättningar av olika grad och omfattning. Ett dominerande symtom vid multipel skleros är smärta. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att hitta omvårdnadsåtgärder, som kan lindra smärta hos personer med sjukdomen.

Following essay examines the social and cultural patterns of southern rural Sweden between the years 1838-1845. The study is based on records from trials held by the district court of the district Norra Möre, which provides an insight to the everyday life in rural local community. Emphasis is put on exclusion and inclusion: the basis for community, codes for inclusion and exclusion, meaningful attributes, social and cultural capital etc. Questions concerning gender are raised as well as intents to discover whether modern ideas contrast early-modern, especially considering the process of individualization. Results show that concepts of confidence and trust were extremely valuable and possessed significant meanings.  Confidence, which established itself on virtuous and honest life, created the framework for most aspects of social society: for example credibility inside and outside of court, maintenance of friendship and company, capacity of upholding a working life. Forfeit of trust, through extensive dissolute, mischievous and ill-considered way of life meant exclusion from the community and great vulnerability.

I Sverige lider 12000 svenskar av multipel skleros (MS), två tredjedelar av dessa är kvinnor. MS är en livslång och handikappande sjukdom hos yngre vuxna som ofta påverkar livskvaliteten. Syfte: Syftet med denna studie var att belysa faktorer av betydelse för hur personer med multipel skleros upplever sin livskvalitet. Metod: Metoden som användes var en litteraturstudie som baserades på tretton vetenskapliga artiklar.

Background: Cancer-related pain is a major problem worldwide. Studies indicate that patients do not get an adequate pain relief. This creates a large suffering and results in major problems for the patient and their families. In order to minimize this kind of suffering caregivers need to understand how cancer-related pain is experienced by these patients, what it does to them and how it impacts their daily life.  Aim: The aim of this study was to describe patients´ experience of living with cancer-related pain.

Phosphate is a used as a surface treatment method which is used for various purposes in the industry. In this case, phosphate coated wire is used in the processes to achieve a desirable outcome. The reason to why phosphate coated wire is used in the production process is because phosphate acts as an accumulator, where it stabilizes the lubricant on the surface of the wire. Lubrication is important because it plays a major role in the roll quality and characterizes important benefits regarding the outcome.Currently, SKF has to wash away all phosphates residues after extrusion process in an operation called tumbling. The main reason for this is simply because the surface has to be completely free from lubricants and coatings till the next step of process.

Chinas government has a multifunctional program for a more sustainable forestry since 2000. This six key forest programs goal is to develop a more sustainable forest sector but also take environment consideration. The state forest administration in China has decided to create 5.8 million hectare of fast growing and high yield forest. Eucalyptus has showed to have good properties for pulp and timber production and therefore Eucalyptus plantations are under development in costal areas in southern China. By adding extra nutrients, growth can be enhanced in Eucalyptus plantations.

This study aims to further Work-family conflict research for Social Workers by providing insight into what kind of impact the job role of social workers in Sweden has on their private lives and how they deal with it. The study operates from a qualitative approach and is based on three focus group-interviews and three semi-structured interviews with people working in different fields of social work. The empirical material has been analyzed through the Dramaturgical Perspective and Frame concept of Erving Goffman. The results of this study show that the job role impacts the psychological well-being of social workers, their family life and their social life to varying degrees, mainly due to organizational and client-based aspects, often resulting in role-conflicts and a lack of energy in their private lives. The primary strategies were found to be conversing with colleagues, spending time alone, embracing hobbies and having a clear understanding of individual responsibility. .
