According to pervious research coalitions that holds control of the seats in the government at the national level tends to increase the total expenditures compared to other types of government formations. PurposeThe purpose of this study has been to investigate the documentation process following the guiding principles of the Quality Norms for Fall Prevention concerning fall risk assessment, risk identification, fall preventive measures, information and the making of an individual care plan.MethodThis study is a quantitative, descriptive and retrospective journal review study. There were 100 journals examine the existing documentation concerning fall risk assessment of patients who received treatment in geriatric patient care. The sample was consecutively.ResultsThe results showed that fall risk assessment was documented in 79 of 100 examined journals. 56 (71 %) of the fall risk assessments were made within 24 hours. In 59 of 100 journals the patient, relatives or former caretakers was asked whether the patient had had a fall within the last year, and in 61 of 100 journals it was documented that the nursing staff had made an assessment that the patient was going to have a fall during his or her length of stay if no preventive measures were set in.The majority of fall risk factors and fall preventive measures were documented within the areas of walking and transfer. It was documented that the patient was informed of fall risk, fall risk factors and fall preventive measures in 15 of 100 journals.

In a multi-year project at Swerea Swecast AB studies on influence of dissolved gas on inclusions have been made. The knowledge about these parameters could be used to increase the quality of the final steel casting. The purpose of this thesis was to closer examine the impact of the oxygen level on inclusions.The questions asked were:? What was the amount of inclusions at different levels of oxygen?? What was the size of these inclusions at different levels of oxygen?? What does the inclusions consist of at different levels of oxygen?This was studied by measuring and sampling, sample preparation and microscopic analysis using an optical microscope and a scanning electron microscope (SEM). Measurements and sampling was performed at Smålands Stålgjuteri AB in Eksjö and at Swerea Swecast AB in Jönköping.

Vårt syfte är att undersöka om och hur budgetens roll skiljer sig åt mellan en offentlig och en privat hälso- och sjukvårdsorganisationer. Vi har baserat vår uppsats och våra slutsatser på intervjuer, som vi gjort på Blekingesjukhuset i Karlskrona och S:t Görans sjukhus i Stockholm. Vi har gjort intervjuer på fyra till fem olika nivåer i båda organisationerna, för att få ett djup i vår undersökning. Vi har kommit fram till att det finns stora skillnader mellan det offentliga sjukhuset och det privata sjukhuset. Den största skillnaden fann vi vara budgetuppföljningen, men att det inte finns någon större skillnad mellan sjukhusen på lägre nivå, däremot på högre nivåer kan vi urskilja relativt stora skillnader.

The focus of this project has been on the drainage tank of the reheater on Ringhals 1. This tank has on two previous occasions received such a high water level that the system automatically emergency stopped. For this reason, events and various readings from these two occasions has been specifically studied and analyzed. In order to prove theories about what causes these problems a model of the system was created in the program Dymola. Using simulation results from the model, we have been able to demonstrate how the system's measured values should look likeunder normal conditions with respect to flows, pressures, temperatures, valve positions and water level in the drainage tank.

Introduction: About 160 children with Down syndrome are born each year in Sweden. They will spend their first time in life at the neonatal departments around the country. Previous research has shown that parents in these situations have experienced an unsatisfying behaviour from the caregivers and that they are not getting the care they desire. However the research that reflects the nurses? role in these situations is sparsely studied.

This bachelor thesis is about an ultrasonic sensor, implemented in a bubble chamber in Artis. The sensor consists of the piezoelectric sensor and an electronic control circuit. The control circuit consists of a programmable microprocessor, PIC18F2420 and a circuit, which sends the excitation signal to the piezoelectric sensor, and later receives the echo. This bachelor thesis consists also of a theoretical study, which examines different techniques of liquid level sensing in a chamber. The study discusses which factors are important in liquid level sensing and examine accepted methods.
