The aim of present study is to evaluate the work of the employees within the Addict Care field, how they experience their struggle as well as the significance of the interaction between the client and the employees. It takes a great deal of effort when facing individuals with alcohol ?and drug related problems. The focus should be on the occupational and individual qualifications, while there is legislation, regulations and ethical guidelines to be followed. Intending to comprehend these issues better several interviews were made with six employees within The Administration for the Social Services and The Addict Unit in Växjö area.

This master?s thesis describes the development of a model of the catalystsystem aiming at control by an MPC. A well functioning model, which is suitable in control purpose, is important while emission legislation become more and more hard to fulfill for the car manufacturers. Much research has been done in the field of physical modeling of the system, but in this work a linear adaptive time discrete ARX-model is developed and validated.The systems tendency to change its dynamic during usage implies that the model must be adaptive. The developed model proved to be well functioning and shows promising conditions for the MPC design.

Syftet med studien har varit att undersöka hur arbetet i förskolan och skolans tidigare år ser ut för att göra barn med ADD mer delaktiga i verksamhetens olika aktiviteter.Den metod som valdes var att genomföra en kvalitativ studie för att på så sätt få ökad kunskap om förskole- och annans personals bild av hur arbetet och mötet med dessa barn kan se ut.I studien har fem stycken kvalitativa intervjuer genomförts och varade 20-30 minuter och spelades in med hjälp av diktafon.Resultatet från intervjuerna har visat att det finns en rad olika arbetssätt för underlätta barn med ADD och deras vardag. Det har till exempel visat sig att det går att använda sig av ?picto-bilder? för att beskriva för barnen vad som kommer ske under dagens lopp.Flickor med ADHD (ADD) är mer tystlåtna och mindre utåtagerande än pojkar med samma diagnos. Deltagarna ansåg att det är viktigt att lyfta fram barnens bra egenskaper eftersom det får positiva effekter för barnens personliga utveckling. Det har även blivit tydligt att barn med ADD oftast först uppmärksammas i högstadiet eller vuxen ålder.

This is the first investigation of the activity with feature film (video) in Swedish publiclibraries.Due to the Swedish copyright legislation, the activity with feature film in Swedish publiclibraries was not possible until an agreement was set between Kommunförbundet and SverigesVideodistributörers Förening in 1989.My investigation is based upon a form that I made in cooperation with Statens kulturråd.The form was sent to the main public libraries in the 286 municipals in Sweden. 250 (87 percent) of the public libraries answered the questions. 130 (52 per cent) of the libraries whoanswered had an activity with feature film.The main reason the libraries bought feature film, was that they hoped that feature filmwould attract new visitors to the library. The investigation also showed that high costs forhiring feature films has a negative influence on the lending of feature films..

Today, companies work with issues concerning Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). A higher demand from customers and other stakeholders as well as an extended legislation are great reasons. Framework and guidelines for sustainability reporting has been developed which includes indices that companies are able to report. Though, for a long term work with sustainability a functional system and internal tool is necessary. Balanced Scorecard, BSC, is a useful tool and efforts have been made to integrate BSC and CSR with purpose to establish the work with sustainability in a more concrete and clear way.

The overriding purpose of this graduate thesis is to evaluate if municipalities and county councils can deviate from the legislation of public procurement during procurement of customer choice agreements within the health and social care area. The intention of this Quasi-market is to provide the users with competition in terms of quality rather then the general principal rule of economic value.My conclusion results in a legal situation without rules of general procedure. So far the authorities make their own regulation in the field of customer choice agreements. The problem lies within the authorization of new contractors and their right to make an appeal against resolutions made by the authorities social care divisions.One solution is to legislate within the present law of public procurement. Another way to solve the problem is to create a lex specialis apart from the present public procurement regulation..

Den produktiva skogsarealen i Sverige som är grandominerad utgörs av 9,5 miljoner ha(Skogsstyrelsen 2011). Varav knappt 0,2 miljoner ha står på torr mark (personlig kommunikation Göran Kämpe, 2015). Problematiken i södra Sverige är att gran planteras på allt för torra marker, eftersom att tall anses för osäkert pga av betestrycket av vilt. I undersökningen utreds om och när tillväxten avtar för granen på torrare marker i sydöstra Sverige med hjälp av bestämning av ståndortsindex (SI).  Höjdtillväxten har, med hjälp av borrning/kapning på olika trädhöjder, rekonstruerats i granbestånd för en hel omloppstid. Detta har utförts på två olika lokaler där tall hade varit det naturliga valet och där granen bedöms lida av vattenbrist. Fokusområdet är ifall höjdtillväxten och SI avtar för granen på tall/torra marker under omloppstiden, som kan ses som en indikation på granknytning.Resultatet visar att granbestånden har ett betydligt högre ståndortindex i ungskogsfasen jämfört med när beståndet är äldre.

This paper deals with the use of Internet at Swedish public libraries. The author asks whether public libraries should or should not limit access to information available on the Internet. Starting from the American discussion, concerning Internet at public libraries, the author shows the Swedish attitudes. The paper demonstrates that many Swedish public libraries have adopted rules forbidding retrieval of certain kinds of information, such as hard-core pornography and racist propaganda. The persons in charge of such actions claim that public libraries should provide high-quality educational literature and should not spread mass-produced, provocative information.

This thesis analyses how a radiology department at the largest hospital in Sweden, Karolinska University Hospital, most profitably could expand its capacity for investigating cancer patients using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). The queues today for patients waiting to be scanned are long, which delays the start of cancer treatments. Meanwhile the hospital has a budget deficit of half a billion SEK, which make any expansion hard. In this thesis we evaluate the alternatives of investing in new machinery; utilize the current machinery better by using them more days annually or through a shift work system. Finally we evaluate a combination of these.

Sweden is on the turn of a dramatic demographic change. The number of elderly will in the coming decade increase considerably. This also means that the need of dwellings adapted for accessibility increases. By adapting dwellings and housing areas to an increased level of accessibility, more people are given the opportunity to stay for a longer time in their habitual surroundings and the housing becomes secure for the user both in a physical and mental point of view. In Sweden the social assistance from a historical perspective, has been a part of the social legislation, since the 18th century. In that time called poor relief. Through the centuries this has established the social assistance we have today. With focus on the child, we have attempted to illustrate how the social workers consider the child perspective when they are dealing with the social assistance. We wanted to get a view of how the social worker reasons about needs the children have and how they can see that the benefit has been provided for.

The purpose of this thesis is to increase the understanding on how market leading pharmaceutical companies in Sweden limit the market share decrease when these companies patent expires. In order to respond to the purpose, two research questions have been asked: how do pharmaceutical companies deal with market strategies prior to the expiration of a patent: and how the market strategies is used when a patent has expired and as a consequence, generics entered the market. A case study was implemented based on two interviews with a brand manager and a therapy area manager within the company Pfizer AB in Sweden. The results suggest that pharmaceutical companies implement strategies in numerous ways which differs substantially from the theories, this having to do with Swedish legislation. The main aim with the execution of the strategy, before and after patent expiration is not to limit a decrease in market share hence, rather to retain the pharmaceutical companies strong brand image.

 Bakgrund: ADHD står för Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder vilket innebär uppmärksamhetsstörning, koncentrationssvårigheter och planeringssvårigheter, nedsatt arbetsminne samt dålig tidsuppfattning. Barnets sjukdom påverkar hela familjen. Syfte: Att beskriva föräldrars upplevelser av att leva med ett barn med en ADHD diagnos. Metod: En allmän litteraturstudie som byggde på 10 vetenskapliga empiriska artiklar. Resultat: Mödrarna kände sig utpekade, vilket ledde till skuldkänslor, stress och depression.

To business owners and consumers electronic commerce means new conditions and possibilities. Often and specially at the Internet information between consumers and sellers is asymmetrically distributed. Among the consumers there is a shortage of confidence in electronic commerce. In order of a positive development of electronic commerce it´s important to find a solution to the shortage of confidence. Confidence may be created by legislation or by self- regulation.

The aim of this study is to investigate differences that exist in Estonia and Russia with regard to civil society, democracy and corruption and try to find out what can be possible causes to the vast differences in these two countries. Many political scientists claim that civil society plays a key role in democratic transitions. This paper takes its point of departure in 1991, when the Soviet Union collapsed and Estonia and Russia became independent. Since then Estonia has had a flourishing economy which attract many foreign investments, with Sweden as the greatest investor. The country has also managed well to adjust quickly from totalitarianism to democracy.
