To have a tool that guides you when you work with a complex system can be helpful since the complexity of the work can be reduced. In this thesis I explore the possibilities to use a helper application whilst planning installations of access control systems. The purpose of the application is to provide support during the planning and at the same time make the user aware of the limitations that exist in the access control system ARX Access. This paper addresses the question about what role typography plays in the interpretation of a text. From three different handbooks in typography arguments are gathered and categorized in to three categories: roman types, san serif and others. Interviews with people from the graphic design area are also a part of the paper and are accounted for in the discussion part of the paper. Areas of theory are a broad hermeneutic view based on Hans-Georg Gadamers thoughts, which have sub categories such as: Michel Foucault?s theory about discourses, John Swales genre theory and Anders Björkvall?s thoughts on typography and multi-modal texts.

Bakgrund: Globala och nationella krav i "det nya arbetslivet", påverkar individen till att försöka upprätthålla en bred kompetens, flexibilitet i ett alltmer individualiserat samhälle. Den ökade ohälsan skapas av problem som otrygga arbetsförhållanden, en stressigare arbetsmiljö för både fast anställd och tillfällig arbetskraft. Personalens arbetsätt utkristalliseras på många olika sätt i verksamheterna, vilket får konsekvenser för det gemensamma arbetet och dess mål. Följden blir att var och en arbetar utifrån sin troliga teori och det vardagliga "praktiska" görandet tar över arbetet alltmer i verksamheten. Detta försvårar arbetet mot gemensamma mål, visionen om den teoretiska kunskapen har gått förlorad.

According to ?Fotförbundet" (2012), Overpronation occurs frequently (80 %) in the Western World and furthermore overpronation of calcaneus influences the position of the pelvic and thorax (Fotförbundet, 2012; Behnke, 2008). The aim of this study is to investigate whether or not it is possible to connect overpronation of calcaneus to the problem in the rider?s seat as observed by the instructors of Strömsholm. The study will also investigate if the riders seat problems as noticed by the riding instructors are comparable with the problems found by the analyst during testing. One purpose with the study is to raise the instructors and riders awareness that anatomical deviations in the rider might influence the rider?s position in the saddle. The questions of the study are: - Is it possible to see seat problems in riders with overpronation of calcaneus? - If it is possible to see more seat problems in riders with overpronation of calcaneus, do the instructors in the study considers the seat problems be similar with each other? - If there are seat problems in the study, is it the same according to the instructors and the analyst in human biomechanics? The hypothesis of the study is that overpronation of calcaneus has an effect of the rider?s position in the saddle. The study is conducted as a blind study where the test subjects have been filmed (from knees down) as they walked barefooted and later while riding.

The purpose of this media scientific study is to contribute to a better understanding about how blind people?s empowerment and participation may affect their role in the digital society.Earlier international studies in this area have shown that blind people not only need more knowledge then the seeing population about the computer, but also about the technology behind their tools for using Internet. The results from these studies have also shown that Internet increases the blind people?s independents and that those who use Internet feel more involved in the society.A qualitative method was chosen to study the three most common categories from the earlier studies: knowledge of technology, empowerment and participation. Are there differences in the results compared to our study in Sweden 2014?Interviews with eight blind, experienced computer users have shown that knowledge of technology is essential for their use of Internet and that the Internet increases their empowerment and their participation.

Sammanfattning SyfteSyftet med förbättringsarbetet var att erbjuda de äldre på särskilt boende en bättre kost i enlighet med Livsmedelsverkets rekommendationer.Syftet med studien var att beskriva hur förbättringsarbetet genomförts, upplevts och påverkat kosten till de äldre på särskilt boende och kostpersonal i Sävsjö kommun.MetodMetoden för studien av förbättringsarbetet har varit enkäter till alla äldre på särskilt boende innan och under förändringen. Semistrukturerade intervjuer med personal inom kostorganisationen har genomförts och sedan analyserats med hjälp av innehållsanalys. Ytterligare en metod för att utvärdera förbättringsarbetet har varit analys av statistik ur kvalitetsregistret Senior alert.ResultatMed utgångspunkt ur förbättringsfilosofin Lean och Livsmedelverkets rekommendationer har ett antal förändringar för äldre genomförts inom kostenheten i Sävsjö kommun för att skapa en effektivare, mer standardiserad organisation som erbjuder kunderna en kost som är mera anpassad efter deras behov. Vid intervjuerna med kostpersonalen framkom fem områden som har påverkats av förbättringsarbetet: renodling av köken, arbetsmiljö, de äldres upplevelse, matsedeln och Livsmedelverkets rekommendationer. SlutsatserSlutsatser som kan dras av studien är att de äldre redan innan förändringen var nöjda med den erbjudna kosten.

Purpose: The aim of the study is to describe how Leanlink, as a part of the municipality ofLinköping, uses balanced control as a management model. The authors compare, based onliterature of the balanced scorecard, the way Leanlink control their activities. Further, theauthors try to understand why the administration chose to use balanced control in the waythey do.Methodology: The authors have chosen a qualitative case-study method to achieve thepurpose of the thesis. Through semi-structured interviews primary data have beencollected, that have been analyzed along with secondary data such as, business plans andwebsite.Theoretical perspectives: The authors shortly emphasize general government as it appearstoday, to further examined how and why the scorecard is used, its dimensions andobjectives and difficulties that may arise along the way.Empirical foundations: The empirical findings are based mainly on information frominterviews with representatives from the case company. The Swedish Tax Agency is a government authority whose mission is to collect taxes and fees for financing the public sector and welfare in Sweden. Under the last decade the tax gap in Sweden has been constant and small businesses with a max turnover of 25 millions Swedish crowns are the biggest group in the tax gap. In the government inquiry about abolishment of statutory audit for small businesses (2008) there has been laid some proposals that the Swedish Tax Agency should get new control tools and increased rights to control small businesses tax accounts. In the science some controversies exists about tax authority?s ability to get taxpayers to pay taxes and fees to the society through using deterrence and compellence control methods versus more service? This ground has guided us to our presentation of a problem: ?How the Swedish Tax Agency works with influencing small businesses behaviour through preventive actions and controls?? The purpose of this study is to research and understand how the Swedish Tax Agency works in their control activities to influence small businesses behaviours regarding taxes and fees.

Denna studie undersökte relationen mellan karaktärsdragen i The Big Five och Health Locus of Control (HLC). Testen NEO-FFI och MHLC användes för att mäta karaktärsdragen och dimensionerna i HLC. 130 studenter vid Växjö universitet deltog i studien. Resultatet visade en relation mellan Conscientiousness och dimensionen Intern HLC. Extraversion hade en något svagare relation till IHLC.

The aim of this study is to find out whether there is any difference to be found in the attention ability before and after physical activity. The method used in this study was made of an experimental design. The participants were chosen through a cluster sampling and thereafter divided into a control group and an experimental group. A total of 64 pupils from upper secondary school participated in the study, 25 of them in the experimental group and 39 of them in the control group. Since the measure was repeated, both in respect of time and the comparison between the groups, a mixed design was used.

The aim of this thesis is to improve the control of urea injection at the combined power and heating plant Framtidens Gärstad (FTG). Tekniska Verken i Linköping AB is the owner of the plant.The FTG plant consists of a boiler where garbage combustion is done. From the combustion nitrogen oxides are emitted. These nitrogen oxides are hazardous to the environment. To reduce the nitrogen oxides, injection of urea into the boiler is used.

The aim of this thesis is to investigate how a valuation model of a Private Equity firm is interpreted into a management control system within the company's different organizational levels. A case study was developed based on the infra-net company Eltel. The management control systems developed by Malmi and Brown (2008)(1) was used to characterize the control systems at each organizational level. The building blocks of this system are planning, cybernetic, reward/compensation, administrative and culture. Miller and O'Learys (2007)(2) theory of mediating instruments and technology roadmaps was applied to analyze the mediating process of the valuation model.

Syftet med detta examensarbete var att undersöka hur väl kalkylerad produktionskostnad/tid  överensstämmer med verkligt utfall, samt att identifiera effektivitetsökande åtgärder i produktionen.En empirisk studie har gjorts för att kunna kartlägga produktionstiden samt att hitta möjliga förbättringsområden. Ledtiden för ett projekt, bestående av 32 st. väggelement har undersökts varvid produktionen har klockats vid fyra olika tillfällen varje dag tills projektets slut.Resultatet av produktionsanalysen blev att den verkliga produktionstiden nästan var dubbelt så lång som den kalkylerade tiden. En stor anledning och flaskhals var att många väggelement blev liggande efter avslutat arbete och bromsade upp efterkommande väggelement.Företaget besitter stor potential till att bli en effektiv producent av väggelement och genom att implementera aktiviteter inom Lean i verksamheten, t.ex. standardisera arbetssätt och fördela arbetsfördelningen bättre, skulle man i framtiden, med stor sannlikhet klara produktionstider som kalkylerats.

Friginor startades år 1984 och har idag 55 stycken anställda. Deras inriktning är installation av kyl- och frysanläggningar samt service. 2006 startade Friginor ett dotterbolag, Green and Cool, som monterar miljövänliga kylaggregat med koldioxid som köldmedium. Miljöfarliga köldmedier kan ha upp till 3800 gånger så stor miljöpåverkan jämfört med koldioxid. Idag sker monteringen av dessa kylaggregat i bristfälliga utrymmen. Målet med det här examensarbetet är att ge Green and Cool olika förslag på lokalplanlösningar, ta fram vilken bemanning som krävs för framtida produktion samt titta på olika hjälpmedel för transport mellan monteringsstationerna.
