Detta självständiga arbete syftar till att ge ägarna till Château du Grand Val, Roland och Marie Nilsson ett utvecklingsförslag på de södra delarna av egendomen där deras mål med fastigheten är hörsammade och där planen är så tydlig att de kan följa den utan större svårigheter. Genom studiebesök, fält- och litteraturstudier har de södra delarna av egendomen fått ett nytt stigsystem där tyngdpunkten ligger på upplevelserikedom och orienterbarhet. Studiebesöken på Château du Grand Val har gett en bakgrundsinformation som sedan har använts till analyser över området. Analysmetoder som har använts är Patrik Grahns åtta parkkaraktärer och Gordon Cullens Serial Vision. Den första har använts som analys av vegetationens egenskaper och den andra för att analysera stigsystemet. Dessa analyser har sedan legat till grund för utformningen av stigsystemet och utvecklingen av den omgivande vegetationen. Arbetets fokus har legat på att skapa sammanbindande stråk mellan befi ntliga stigar och därefter anpassa vegetationen för att förstärka upplevelsen av stigen med hänsyn tagen till att gynna viltet på egendomen och den småskaliga skogsproduktionen. Resultatet redovisas i både text och illustrationer. Det innehåller en utförlig plan för skapande av ett sammanbindande stigsystem.

The aim of this Masters thesis is to examine how Jane Austens Pride and Prejudice, first published in 1813, was established in different literary orbits after the transformation to the television medium in 1995. I also want to find out what this adaptation meant for the popularity of Jane Austen, the circulation of her works and the rebirth of her authorship. It has furthermore been of interest to discuss the reasons why Jane Austen and her works became so popular. Questions posed in the study are: What has the 1995 production of Pride and Prejudice meant for the spreading of Jane Austens literary work and for the rebirth of her authorship? How has Pride and Prejudice moved between the literary orbits after it became a television-serial in 1995? Why did the circulation get the character it got in the 1990s? In order to find feasible answers to these questions I have used Hans Hertels model of the five literary orbits as theoretical starting point.

The thesis that follows is performed in collaboration with Nitator in Oskarström.The factory in Oskarström focuses on laser cutting, robotic welding and surfacetreatment of steel for the automotive industry.The project aims to streamline the flow of materials in production by automatingthe movements of the forklifts, running to and from the interlayer, and betweenworkstations.The project started with a systematic literature search. The literature searchshowed the research position around the AGV-system. Also a review of studentliterature was made, so that a suitable method for practical implementation couldbe developed and applied. Selected method uses both quantitative and qualitativeapproaches, which is analyzed by using triangulation.The work has resulted in a modified layout of the current facility in Oskarströmthat can be used for the implementation of the AGV-system. It has also resulted inthe tender documents and profitability calculation from several of AGV-suppliers..

The aim was to explore how the first page of a student newspaper has been changed over time since it was founded in the 1960´s.This thesis explores how the front page of the student newspaper Lösnummer has been changed since it was founded in 1966. It concerns the location and frequency of elements and it is based on theories of layout, the first page and visual communicationIn addition, the thesis develops a new kind of method for determining the location of elements on the type area. The method is based on the hexadecimal number system. It is formed as a grid which is placed on the first page to determine the location of the elements.It concludes that the frequency of elements had its peak during the 1970´s and has ever since decreased gradually. Image placement has gone from being scattered all over the front page to be centered and increase in size. .

This degree project has been carried out on the commission of AB Borlänge Energi. The purpose of thisproject was to redesign the magazine Energitrycket. The magazine should inform about the current eventsat the company. The work consisted of redesign of the existing magazine and adjustment to copying andpublishing on the web.This project also contains a research about how paper and colour affect the print results. It shows thatthe maximum contrast and sharp image reproduction is best achieved on woodfree, coated, calenderedpaper with high whiteness.

Målet har varit att undersöka hur grafiska formgivare kan använda sig av matematisk kod i form av fraktala system för att skapa inspirerande grid. Genom att titta på befintliga fraktala mönster och sedan anpassa vissa av dem till gridsystem skapades under designprocessen ett antal olika fraktala grid. Hur väl dessa gridsystem fungerade testades i en skisskalender - en fickkalender för formgivare med plats att skissa. För att kontrollera och verifiera de resultat som kom fram under designprocesssen jämfördes de med åsikter från en fokusgrupp bestående av grafiska formgivare. Slutsatsen blev att fraktala gridsystem inspirerar grafiska formgivare att skapa dynamiska och harmoniska layouter.

Emhart Glass tillverkar den utrustning som behövs vid tillverkning av glasemballage såsom glasburkar och glasflaskor. Förutom att sälja hela lösningar säljer de även reservdelar. I och med reservdelsförsäljningen har Emhart Glass stora lager och ett stort flöde av inkommande samt utgående gods. Utspridda lagerplatser i företagets byggnad samt flytande lagerplatser gör att företagets önskan om att plocka motorer utifrån FIFO- principen inte kan ske. Syftet med detta examensarbete är att genom kartläggning och analys av det fysiska och administrativa flödet av motorer ta fram en layout som förenklar och förbättrar plockning och spårning.

Avsikten med denna fallstudie är att jämföra annonsering i några svenska magasins tryckta och digitala upplaga. Fokus ligger på hur annonseringen förändrats i övergången från tryckt till digital produkt. Skillnader i mängden annonser, dess layout samt avsändare och budskap har undersökts.  I vilken grad annonsering i de digitala magasinen använder sig av multimedieinnehåll ämnas också undersökas. Det vill säga ljud, video och hyperlänkning samt länkning till sociala nätverk.

För att uppnå god lönsamhet vid produktion av bostäder krävs ett väl fungerande produktionssystem. Ett sätt är att använda sig av industriella metoder där byggnadselement eller volymenheter prefabriceras i fabrik för att sedan sättas samman i fält. Tack vare ökad miljömedvetenhet och en strävan efter att minska energianvändningen har efterfrågan på passivhus ökat på senare tid. Swedehouse International AB (Swedehouse) har anammat detta genom att ha som affärsidé att starta en tillverkning av prefabricerade passivhus i betong, med hög färdigställandegrad som ledord. Denna rapport är en sammanställning av den information som idag finns tillgänglig inom området byggande med industriella metoder.

The thesis work of 15 credits has been performed to interest of Norrtälje ElektronikPartner AB (NEP) in Norrtälje. The aim of the thesis was to develop a prototype for an integrated digital multimeter, designed for one of NEP's proprietary test systems. A digital multimeter module according to NEP's requirement specification, such as physical size and accuracy should be constructed. The module should be able to measure current, voltage and resistance.The final circuit was based on the chosen analog to digital-converter, Maxim integrated´s Max134, which is the main component of the circuit for this instrument. A circuit diagram and PCB layout were made. The result of this project is a constructed DMM board.

Jag har studerat en liten torgbildning på Hisingen, Göteborg, i området Jättesten. Platsen är intressant då den har många besökare trots att den ligger vid sidan av de större stråken. Platsen har en del gestaltningsproblem och stora nivåskillnader, som gör den svår och otillgänglig. Intresset för torg och offentliga rum är större än någonsin och välgestaltade gemensamma platser har anlagts i nya bostadsområden såsom Norra Älvstranden i Göteborg, Hammarby sjöstad i Stockholm och Västra hamnen i Malmö. Men vad händer med förortstorgen från efterkrigstiden? Hur används 40-, 50- och 60-talets torg idag? I mitt examensarbete har jag också studerat olika torgstrukturer från olika epoker under 1900-talet då byggnadsidealen skilt sig åt.

A variety of demands have to be considered in the design of a new opera house in Galärvarvet. All possible viewpoints are important to be aware of, as is the need for the new building to be a contrast to the already existing opera house in Stockholm. The restricted site also makes a multitude of demands on the building's design.By rationalizing the layout and structure and also by making the footprint smaller, the complex building of over 30 000 square meters can be fitted and blended into the existing physical context. Unlike the existing opera house in Stockholm, the new opera house shows the rationality and the advanced technology that lies behind the scenes and becomes the character of the entire building. Through the dynamic façade, the new opera can convey any character it so desires, just like scenes do through different settings.
