Nuförtiden blir hemsjukvård allt mer vanligare för vårdtagare i livets slutskede. Då den sjuke vårdas i det egna hemmet kan anhöriga lättare följa med i sjukdomsförloppet. Vid vårdmöte mellan vårdtagare och professionel vårdare är det viktigt att vårdare är lyhörd och lyssnar på vårdtagare. Den professionella vårdarens personlighet är viktig för att han/hon ska kunna sätta sig in i vårdtagarens situation. Med professionell vårdare menas att vårdaren ska ha självkännedom, empati och kunskap.

Health and fitness are two controversial and not easily defined topics that affect people in our modern society every day. We believe that we can find a link between individualism, globalization and the stress concerning weight and appearance ideals. Our bodies have turned into a popular subject for the media, and there is no indication that the interest will decline. As the world gets more artificial, "natural" ideals are getting more attention, such as the concept of a strong and healthy body. But there is also a downside, for example with health issues such as cardiovascular disease increasing following the birth of high-fat diets.

Bakgrund: När ett barn drabbas av en allvarlig sjukdom som leukemi så förändras livet för föräldrarna och omgivningen. En hel familj påverkas och deras vardagsliv blir förändrat. Tidigare forskning har visat att föräldrar kan känna sig osäkra på sjukhuset och inte veta hur de kan hjälpa sitt barn. Syfte: Att beskriva föräldrars upplevelser i samband med att deras barn drabbats av leukemi och vårdas på sjukhus. Metod: Kvalitativ ansats och Graneheim och Lundmans manifesta innehållsanalys av tre stycken självbiografiska böcker.

This master thesis deals with the theme of memory, it is through an artistic process I have investigated and peeled off to a specific memory, the hut. It is in the work of the personal memory through a craft process it transforms into something public. The hut is constructed out of corrugated boxes, corrugated boxes casted in clay. To cast an object differs according to me from sculpting the object; it is the function rather than the sensual feeling that is sought after. It is about the clarity and accuracy through the casted object that suggest something vague and indeterminate.

Human Papilloma virus (HPV) can lead to cervical cancer, a common form of cancer in Sweden and globally. A vaccine has been developed for the most carcinogenic strains of HPV. In Sweden it is planned that the vaccine be included in the public national vaccination program for children. The aim of this study was to illustrate attitudes towards future sexual habits and preventive cervical cancer screening among young women and parents of girls vaccinated against HPV. This study is a part of a larger project where interviews with young women aged 17 to 26 years and parents of girls aged 13 to 17 years compose the foundation.

Bakgrund: Stroke är västvärldens tredje vanligaste dödsorsak. Varje år får ungefär 30 000 människor stroke i Sverige. När någon insjuknat i stroke berörs även deras partner. Syftet med studien var att belysa hur partnern till den som insjuknat i stroke upplevde sin livssituation utifrån väsentlig litteratur. Metod: I studien användes latent innehållsanalys som analysmetod för de kvalitativa artiklarna som var inspirerad av Graneheim och Lundman (2003).

Trygghet är en viktig faktor i hemsjukvård, där distriktssköterskors förmåga att ge trygghet betyder mycket för vårdens kvalitet. Syftet med denna studie är att beskriva distriktssköterskors upplevelser av att ge trygghet till personer i hemsjukvård. Studien är baserad på sex intervjuer och analyserades med kvalitativ innehållsanalys med latent ansats. Denna analys resulterade i ett tema: Skapa tillit och kunna möta personers behov vilken innefattar fem kategorier: Förväntningar på en tillitsfull relation, Vara tillgänglig, visa kontinuitet och engagemang, Kompetens att förstå personers behov, Förmåga att möta otrygghet, Förstå hemmets betydelse samt dess begränsningar. I resultatet framkom att distriktssköterskor upplevde att trygghet gavs när de bekräftade personer i hemsjukvård som individer, var engagerade, frågade hur de mådde, hade kunskap och var skickliga, gav tillfredställande information samt fick personer att ?känna sig hemma?.

The purpose of this study is to examine the changes in law and other types of politicialregulation regarding unauthorized absence during the reformation of the Swedish schoolsystem in 2010. How was this ?new? approach on unauthorized absence established; whatmade it possible and which view on ?unauthorized absence? does it implicate? The study hasa discourse analytic approach in which it examines central policy documents regarding thetopic of inquiry. The study has found that the alliance-government?s education policy onunauthorized absence is pervaded by one hegemonic discourse termed the mono-culturaldisciplinary discourse.

The thesis is based on a case study of a Swedish discussion forum where survivalism and prepping is the main focus. The awareness of an abrupt and immanent breakdown together with a full and thorough preparation for any conceivable threat posed by that breakdown is what legitimizes survivalism and prepping. This preparation, or risk-proofing is 1) grounded in an isolation of the body and its predispositions from perceived risks, and 2) actualized through artefacts, theoretical and practical knowledge and awareness. Stories of the embodied survivalist are also stories of masculine and heterosexual subjects and ?the others?.

Denna uppsats undersöker genom en serie intervjuer relationer mellan huvudentreprenörer (HE) och underentreprenörer (UE) inom byggbranschen i Stockholmsområdet utifrån ett samverkanperspektiv. Det teoretiska ramverket utgörs av en spelteoretisk modell Tit-for-tat som förklarar hur samarbete kan uppstå mellan själviska individer, samt nätverksteori och resursberoendeteori.

Smartphones have become more common as business tools within the workplace. With its many features and great flexibility, the smartphone has stormed the business world and become an alternative or complement to the laptop. As these mobile units' popularity has increased, the interest of businesses to invest in this new technology has increased, but has security kept up with the technology developments?This study aims to conduct a study to see if the companies in the IT industry have the same safety awareness for smart phones to laptops.The study shows that companies have greater safety awareness and higher safety requirements for laptops than smartphones. Meanwhile, both end-users and management are well aware of the risks and threats that the smartphone is facing..

The aim with this thesis is to investigate the risk management at the department Road construction, The National Road Administration Region Mälardalen. The aim is also to study how the risk management could be improved to better support the project leaders. Included in theses aims is to examine potential problems with the current risk management and to suggest changes. It is of utter importance to define the concept of risk, to study how risk can be measured and in which ways risk can be analyzed. In doing so, a literary study has be done and fourteen respondents has been interviewed.Risk is to be seen more as a concept than a quantity.

In this essay, the aim is to empirically and theoretically study the parliamentary debate of the child pornography law. The empirical part is an attempt to discover eventual underlying gender stereotypes in the debate. A text analysis is conducted with material consisting of motions from members of parliament and of protocols from the parliamentary debate. In this material we try to find latent and manifest expressions of gender stereotypes. There are several stereotypes, which effects the argumentation and prejudice of the debate, like stereotypes of the victims, the perpetrators and their characteristics.

In a business environment where the stakeholder perspective is evolving and sustainable development is receiving increased attention, it is of importance for companies to adjust. The demand and pressure is exerted from several stakeholders who force companies to take action and live up to the expectations because if failing to do so, negative consequences will most likely be the case. The attention of this study is on ABB Power Products (ABB PP) and their environment and working environment risk management. The aim of this thesis is to identify and describe how perceived environmental risks are managed and what the incentives are to work proactively to minimize the risks. The incentives for a proactive risk management strategy are researched through both a strategic and operational perspective.

Humor och skratt genomsyrar livet i sin helhet det är ett sätt för människor att vara tillsammans och förhålla sig till varandra. Med hjälp av humor kan vårdgivaren och patienten minska klyftan mellan dem, den kan även bidra till att patienten känner ett förtroende för vårdpersonalen. Humor är också ett hjälpmedel för vårdpersonal att kunna ventilera den stressiga arbetssituation som råder. Syftet med studien är att belysa vårdpersonalens erfarenheter och upplevelser av humor och skratt i omvårdnadsmöten. Undersökningen genomfördes med hjälp av bandade intervjuer i vilka fyra olika sjuksköterskor och en undersköterska berättade om sina upplevelser och erfarenheter av humor och skratt i möten med patienter.
