I denna uppsats presenteras en studie kring hur engelska ord i en för övrigt svensk text påverkar läsarens uppfattning av texten och dess författare. Två gymnasieklasser har fått läsa en text vardera, en helsvensk text med enbart svenska ord och en engelskinfluerad text som innehåller mer engelska lånord. Texterna är identiska förutom gällande just ordvalet. De har därefter fått svara på samma enkät som efterfrågade hur tillförlitlig, modern, intressant samt lätt- eller svårläst de har ansett att texten var. I enkäten ombads även eleverna att fylla i hur stort förtroende de kände för textförfattaren, hur gammal de trodde att hen var, samt om de trodde att hen var kvinna eller man.

My purpose with this thesis has been tostudy the intersection between Landscapearchitecture and Land Art. The purpose of this master's thesis is to describe and analyse the origin and development of the library of Workers´ Educational Association in the community of Oskarström. This library is special because the organisation run it much longer than usual, until 1977, and to find an answer to why, we have the following questions: Why does the library of Workers´ Educational Association start their activity in Oskarström, and how does it develop, in relation to premises, librarians, financing, the stock of books and the numbers of books out on loan? What is the reason that the library in Oskarström is municipalized as late as 1977? The methods we use are hermeneutics and evaluation of the sources. The library is founded in 1914 and become important for the workers. Important sources of income are the subventions given by the state, municipality and other associations.

Villkoren för krigföring befinner sig i ständig förändring och tempot med vilket de ändras ökar. Det här för med sig allt fler faktorer att ta hänsyn till när de samtida förutsättningarna för krig och konflikter skall förstås och hanteras, och bland dessa finns medierna och deras sätt att rapportera från konflikter. Tidigare forskning inom området har visat att ett lands mediers rapportering från konflikter tenderar att spegla nationens utrikes- och säkerhetspolitiska orientering, vilket i sådana fall innebär att sättet på vilket ett lands medier rapporterar från en konflikt kan påverka omvärldens uppfattning om landet i sin helhet.Uppsatsens syfte är att undersöka om svensk medierapportering alltjämt speglar den svenska utrikes- och säkerhetspolitiska orienteringen, eller om den tenderar att uppvisa en mer självständig roll. Undersökningen sker genom en fallstudie av svensk nyhetsrapportering från en konflikt i Sveriges närområde i modern tid. Via metoden framinganalys jämförs Svenska Dagbladet och Dagens Nyheters rapportering från Krimkrisen 2014 med ett antal teman ur svensk utrikes- och säkerhetspolitisk orientering, i både historisk och modern tappning.Resultatet visar att nyhetsrapporteringen från den aktuella tidsperioden går i linje med den svenska utrikes- och säkerhetspolitiska orienteringen och att det finns tydliga inslag av såväl historiska drag såsom neutralitet och alliansfrihet, som av moderna drag avseende internationalism med betoning på multilateralt samarbete..

The teaching of modern foreign languages within Swedish educational system has been a subject of a number of alarming reports in recent years. Several studies have shown that students lack motivation to learn any language but English. Of particular concern is the young males? underachieving and disinterest in foreign languages. In the meantime, a number of international studies and the statistical data from Swedish national agencies of secondary and higher education (Skolverket and Högskoleverket) have indicated that Russian is one of the languages that are favoured by males. The primary goal of my case study was, therefore, to examine students? motivation to learn Russian and their attitudes towards language, community and Russian-speaking people.

It is a well known archaeological concern that the remains of human bones left from the bronze age and early iron age Scandinavia are not nearly enough to represent the estimated population of the time. Furthermore the bones of each find rarely represent a whole individual. The majority of the bones must have been disposed of somewhere else, possibly scattered in running waters or in the fields, where they have evaporated or are securely hidden from archaeological excavations.This thesis deals with the grave concept and the problem in using a word that is so very clouded by its modern, western meaning. It also offers an alternative explanation to why the bones are handled the way they are and why they are found in such awkward contexts..

AbstractWe have been honored to work with a company called Frimeko AB. Frimeko is located in Halmstad where they make and sell furniture for school and office environment. Our task is to construct a new, more modern sewing machine table for schools. The task is to use the same function as before, ease the storage and production of sewing machine.Efforts to develop the new sewing machine table resulted in that we came up with an innovative design that the company is pleased with.During this project the group has used the method from ?Fredy Olsson Konstruktion? .

This thesis examines Jews and Catholics views on immigration to the United States in the late 19th century. It is qualitative analysis of how immigrants and immigration is treated in two different magazines, The American Jewess and Catholic World. The findings are then put in the context of contemporary nativist ideas. This thesis states that both The American Jewess and Catholic World are, principally, in favor of immigration and do not want to restrict immigration at that time. Catholic World is somewhat more open to the idea ofdiscussing harder immigration laws but the overall tendency in both magazines is that immigration is not a problem to the United States.

Syftet med denna litteraturstudie är att jämföra larvterapi och konventionella metoder vid behandling av svårläkta sår utifrån följande perspektiv: upprensning av sår, duration av sårläkning och patienternas upplevelse. Polit & Becks (2006) modell användes vid arbete med denna litteraturstudie. Sökning av relevant litteratur gjordes i tre databas: PubMed, CINAHL och The Cochrane Library. Relevanta artiklar granskades med hjälp av granskningsprotokollerna modifierade av författarna efter Willman (2006). Nio olika studier har undersökts i denna litteraturstudie.

Denna uppsats söker utröna gällande svensk rätt avseende möjligheten att nyttja upphovsrättsskyddat material utan upphovsmannens samtycke, så kallade upphovsrättsinskränkningar. Denna typ av bestämmelser har sin grund i artikel 9(2) Bernkonventionen och har sedermera utvecklats genom diverse andra internationella överenskommelser. Mest intressant är hur dessa upphovsrättsinskränkningar förhåller sig till modern teknik, främst gällande upphovsrättsskyddat material på Internet.I svensk rätt har ett antal upphovsrättsinskränkningar vållat problem för upphovsmän, däribland undantaget om privat bruk som medger att bruk av upphovsrättsskyddade verk i privatlivet inte alltid utgör ett intrång i upphovsrätten. Denna inskränkning i upphovsrätten har förelegat särskilt olämplig att upprätthålla då uppkomsten av Internet har inneburit en allt för långtgående möjlighet att framställa exemplar av upphovsrättsskyddade verk för privat bruk. Med implementeringen av diverse internationella överenskommelser i svensk rätt har undantaget om privat bruk utvecklats för att bättre bevara upphovmännens intressen.Uppsatsen visar vilka förutsättningar som måste vara uppfyllda för att undantaget om privat bruk skulle kunna hävdas.

This essay aims to investigate the use of an origin-ID within the Beaker Complex, as defined by John C. Barrett, seen through their different expressions of use in ceramic form and ornamentation, architecture and landscape through time and space with special emphasis on the late Neolihtics in the South of England. The analytic vehicle "the reinforcing circle" is used as a new diffusion model suggested by Stuart Needham, and the analytic tool "incubation" is used to structure the process the Beaker-cultures may have used to reach cultural hegemony. Id est, that the Beaker-cultures socially invites already existing cultures, offering within family and trading the results of new technolo­gies. And/or, occupy the space and use the authority needed by re-writing the narrative as seen in the grave use and grave deposits.

The water tower in Uppsala city forest was built in the late 1950's in what is now a nature reserve. The unique place was supposed to be visited by people, which is currently not the situation. This bachelor thesis aimed to perform an analysis and make a design proposal for the environment surrounding the water tower. The analysis was performed using the methodology previously described by architect Arne Branzell. The methodology focuses on how a space is perceived by a person moving through it.
