There are about 3 500 churches protected under the Heritage Conservation Act in Sweden today. These churches still belong to living congregations that want to be able to adapt them to the needs of today, just like people have done throughout history. But since the churches are protected, the congregations have to apply for a permit and that is not always given. This can lead to frustration, and you can sometimes hear representatives of the church express the view that antiquarian authorities are enemies that oppose the church. On the other hand we have the antiquarian authorities that, in a way, have to act as advocates for generations to come and make sure that there is a cultural heritage preserved for them when they grow up.

The aim of the study is to evaluate how a law decided 2002 regarding discrimination against students in the higher education system in Sweden, was implemented at the University of Kalmar and Växjö University.The study asks two questions: How did the both universities implement the law? How did the universities manage to implement the law? In order to answer these questions the ?top-down? perspective, often used in field social science within discipline implementation, is used. First the study examines the goals with the legislation, and thereafter the actual implementation at the both examined universities.The conclusion is that the universities has high ambitions with implementation of the law and extensive formalized regulations but that it practically seems to be hard to get legitimacy with the implementation throughout the whole organizations. This makes the implementation work slowly though it?s working well with the people who have direct responsibility for the implementation..

This paper deals with the relations between landscape rooms and monuments in an area north of Mönsterås in Kalmar län. After archaeological excavations had been carried out in the area 1991, an article promote it to the ?Bronze Age district of Mönsterås? (Källström 1993). There are two main problems that I deal with in this paper. First: The relations between the natural places and the monuments or memorials.

Målet med min undersökning är att besvara frågorna ?Hur påverkar stenmuren produktionen i det moderna lantbruksföretaget?? och ?Hur har lagstiftningen som berör kulturelement förändrats??. Syftet med uppsatsen har varit att undersöka hur stenmuren uppfattas i odlingslandskapet.Storskiftet 1857, enskiftet 1807 och laga skifte 1827 förändrade jordbrukets medeltida struktur och sedan dess har utvecklingen gått mot allt färre men större brukningsenheter. Stenmurarna kom till i samband med skiftesreformer då gårdarna flyttades ut från byn för att få hela sin areal samlad kring ett gårdscentrum. Det är oftast dessa stenmurar som idag upplevs som odlingshinder i det moderna jordbruket då gamla ägogränser numera finns inom gården genom förvärv av grannfastigheter.

The education program System design at the University of Kalmar has since it?s beginning been missing a near by studio for it?s students studying towards audio and music. In the choice of examination project I would take upon this task, which was long wanted for the teachers and students at the university?s Musikhuset.Musikhuset became the buyer of the project, and the studio was to be installed at their premises. Unfortunately, the project got jammed by the university?s financial savings calculations, and was due to this delayed in the end for 11 weeks.

The marketing campaign ?LÃ¥na dig rik? [Get rich by lending] involved 25 public libraries in three regions; Kronoberg, Kalmar and Blekinge. This paper examines 28 news-articles concerning this campaign, found in eight publications in the responding regions. The purpose of this is to determine to what extent the description of the campaign found therein responded to the intents of its founders and to what extent the public had a say in these articles. The result found indicates that the overall image of the campaign presented in the news-articles was well in correspondence with the intents of the campaign itself but that the public views where arguably absent..

Studien bygger på en enkätundersökning som är riktad till specialpedagoger/speciallärare i Malmö och Kalmar med omnejd. Syftet har varit att kartlägga hur specialpedagoger/speciallärare uppmärksammar barn med motoriska svårigheter. Vi upplever att betydelsen av den motoriska utvecklingen har kommit lite i skymundan. Debatten om motorik var hetare för tio år sedan. Motoriken har stor betydelse för barnets hela utveckling.

I denna studie har jag undersökt vilka kommunikationshinder som finns inom offentlig sektor med fokus mot en hierarkiskt byggd organisation och till min hjälp har jag haft en basenhet vid ett landsting i Sverige som studieobjekt.Den medicinska utvecklingen har gått fort fram och som en respondent i denna studie berättade har utvecklingen gått från en smärtstillande spruta och väntan vid en hjärtattack till ballongsprängningar och andra avancerade  behandlingar. Dessa behandlingar är väldigt dyra men priset för vår vård när vi besöker sjukhus har inte ökat nämnvärt, inte heller har skatteintäkterna ökat nämnvärt för landstinget. Detta gör att jag blir intresserad av att undersöka hur landstinget kan skapa värde både inom och utom sin organisation i andra former än pengar.I litteraturen som jag läst är det största fokuset på hur organisationer, både offentliga och privata, kan generera värde i form av att ha en effektiv kommunikation med sina externa intressenter till exempel investerare. Väldigt få studier har fokus på de interna intressenterna, bland annat anställda, som är med och bygger upp organisationen och arbetar mot organisationens mål. Studierna tar däremot upp förtroende som väldigt viktigt inom en organisation eftersom det har, i flera studier, visat sig ha många positiva effekter.Min studie fokuserar på hur ledningen inom en offentlig styrd organisation kan kommunicera för att skapa internt förtroende.

The goal and purpose of this essay is to study if and how multimodality is used within a Swedish school in Kalmar. This is accomplished by observing the different modalities inside the classroom and how the use of different modalities affects the teaching. Unstructured observations combined with a material-based thematic presentation leads up to an analysis based on social semiotics and multimodality. The essay shows how the teaching uses lots of modalities: sound, images, movies, speeches and literary text in lots of different ways. These different types of modalities are used in a multimodal context, providing good conditions for learning..

The purpose of this study is to identify how the needs, demands and preferences for a certain service appear among University students in Kalmar. This is necessary to examine in order to create and design a possible service that will solve the problem with the University students eating habits.This study is based on a qualitative method with quantitative elements. The qualitative method contains of three focus group discussions. The quantitative method contains of a questionnaire. All respondents in this study fits in the target group.One important conclusion that we have stated after the investigation of this study, is that the nature of this problem seems to differ from person to person.

Bakgrund:Entreprenörskap är ett ord som ofta används i olika sammanhang och med olika innebörd. Detta skapar en viss förvirring kring vad det innebär att vara entreprenör. Samtidigt finns det utbredda stereotyper om vem som identifieras som entreprenör och hur denne bör agera. Den stereotypa bilden av en entreprenör som finns i samhället är att denne är en man, något vi anser påverkar kvinnors företagande negativt. I Sverige finns ett stort antal organisationer vars syfte är att främja tillväxt genom ett ökat antal nya företag.

Generellt utförs ett antal aktiviteter inom loppet av ett produktutvecklingsprojekt. Forskare och näringslivspersoner som arbetar inom ämnet projektledning, menar att de tidiga faserna av ett projekt är viktiga att utföra på rätt sätt för att uppnå de mål som företaget har satt på produkten som ska utvecklas. De tidiga faserna i ett projekt är även kallade front-end fasen. Vilka dessa aktiviteter är och hur de bör utföras ska detta arbete komma fram till. I denna studie har teorier analyserats i syfte att ta fram aktiviteter som bidrar till minskade ledtider i produktutvecklingsprojekt i fornt-end fasen.

BAKGRUND De senaste åren har regelverken för banksektorn blivit allt mer omfattande. Regelverket Basel III ställer ökade krav på bankerna gällande såväl kapital som likviditet, och det är i stort sett samma regelverk som gäller för storbanker som för små sparbanker. Sparbanker är en intressant associationsform med en lång historia och de har ofta mycket stor betydelse för de orter där de är verksamma.SYFTESyftet med denna rapport är att undersöka hur sparbanker i Kalmar län upplever det ökade regelverk som har införts för banker under de senaste åren. I syftet ingår även att undersöka vilka konkreta förändringar som införandet av Basel III har lett till i sparbankernas verksamhet samt om sparbankerna kan leva upp till de ökade kraven.METODDetta är en kvalitativ studie som bygger på personliga intervjuer med representanter från fyra sparbanker i Kalmar län samt en intervju med en representant från Sparbankernas riksförbund. Studien har ett hermeneutiskt synsätt och studiens resultat är därför präglat av hur jag som uppsatsförfattare har tolkat intervjupersonerna. REFERENSRAMDetta kapitel innehåller ett resonemang kring finansiella regelverk och kriser samt en beskrivning av Knutsen och Sjögrens kriscykelmodell.
