The basic questions were: How do the respondents look upon this HVB-homes service process? How do the respondents look upon this HVB-homes service contents? How do the respondents look upon this HVB-homes service regarding available information and how the staff is available? What positive and negative experience do they have from their stay at the HVB-home? We also wish to get a picture of what is important to change to improve the quality on this HVB-home. To receive answers to those questions we formed a questionnaire.

Today, the management concept of lean has stretched far from its origins in the Japanese automobile industry. When reaching the Swedish restaurant industry, the conditions for a successful implementation of lean change as a result of the high employee turnover and the significant amount of part-time employees characteristic for the industry. Combined with a high-end service profile, these workforce characteristics seem inconsistent with some of the basic principles of lean. By conducting a case study, this thesis aims to investigate the effects of a variable workforce on the enablers for a successful implementation of lean in a high-end service industry. Using a theoretical framework consisting of enablers for an implementation of lean in services, the study finds that the variable workforce inhibits an implementation of lean by complicating the effects of traditional training, as well as the possibility of understanding the lean concept at all levels of the organization.

I AD representeras arbetsmarknadens huvudorganisationer av så kallade intresseledamöter. När AD prövar ett mål om etnisk diskriminering har domstolen en så kallad allmän sammansättning. I en allmän sammansättning deltar tre ledamöter som inte kan anses företräda arbetsgivar- eller arbetstagarintressen och fyra intresseledamöter. Det har ett flertal gånger riktats kritik mot AD:s intresseledamöter och AD:s oberoende och opartiskhet. I Sverige har vi internationella konventioner, bland annat artikel 6.1 i Europakonventionen, att beakta när det gäller rättegångsprocessen vid tvistemål.

Mitt syfte med denna uppsats är att återge ändringar som enligt regeringens förslag till Ny försäkringsavtalslag kommer bli aktuell vid skadeförsäkring för konsumenter. Detta regleras till stor del idag av konsumentförsäkringslagen (KFL) men även av lagen om försäkringsavtalslag (FAL). FAL blir tillämplig i de fall då KFL inte ger vägledning, bl.a. då det gäller tredje mans rätt enligt försäkringsavtalet. Försäkringsrätten har varit föremål för ett genomgripande reformarbete som började med KFL:s ikraftträdande år 1981.

Studiens syfte är att undersöka och analysera kompetensbehov inom olika kommunala human service-organisationer, där bland annat socialpedagoger är verksamma i Västerviks kommun. Min studie vill även undersöka inom vilka verksamheter högskoleutbildade socialpedagoger arbetar idag samt vilka kompetenser de har och vilka kompetenser lämpar sig för att arbeta inom human service-organisationer i Västerviks kommun. Denna studie strävar efter att vara ett stöd för att förbereda human service-organisationer i Västerviks kommun inför eventuella utmaningar vid framtida rekrytering av befintlig och ny kompetens. Samtidigt vill jag med min studie stärka kunskapen kring socialpedagoger.Studien består av både en kvantitativ och kvalitativ undersökning. Det empiriska materialet har insamlats via en enkätundersökning och en gruppintervju med personer som har medarbetar- och verksamhetsansvar inom olika human service-organisationer i Västerviks kommun.Resultatet av min studie påvisar att det finns ett kompetensbehov inom human service-organisationer i Västerviks kommun som främst präglas av intellektuella och sociala kompetenser.

Det är idag vanligt att företag löser sina tvister genom skiljeförfarande. De har här större möjlighet att kontrollera förfarandet och få ett snabbare avgörande än i en domstolsprocess. Förfarandet är dessutom konfidentiellt. Skiljeförfaranden sker ofta mellan parter från olika länder och det är vanligt att parter väljer forum i Sverige i internationella skiljeförfaranden.I vissa situationer kan en part befara att den framtida skiljedomen blir verkningslös på grund av att en motpart kommer att agera på ett sätt som tillfogar parten skada eller försvårar verkställigheten av domen. En part kan därför vara i behov av en säkerhetsåtgärd både före, under eller efter förfarandet.

Studien hade flera syften. Det första var att på detaljnivå kartlägga och presentera vilka hinder som finns i trafikmiljön på Västra Esplanaden, i centrala Umeå. Det andra syftet var att klargöra vilket stråk som används mest av funktionshindrade personer. Ytterligare har syftet varit att studera vilka behov och begränsningar funktionshindrade personer har och hur de upplever trafikmiljön på Västra Esplanaden, vilka brister de upptäckt i miljön och hur trafikmiljön kan förbättras och åtgärdas för att minska deras handikapp. Målet med studien har varit att genom intressentdialog samla åsikter, göra avvägningar och prioritera åtgärder.

Background: Resources that are hard to put a value on and cannot be classified as assets in the balance sheet as well as the development towards the information society has led to an increasing need and use for voluntary information in the annual reports. The increase of voluntary information can foremost be seen in the field of human resources.Purpose: The purpose of this thesis is to describe the development of voluntary information about human resources in the annual report of a number of Swedish quoted companies. The purpose is also to see if there is a difference in the development between manufacturing companies and service companies.Method: Six manufacturing companies and six service companies were chosen from the Stockholm exchange A-list. Using both a qualitative and quantitative research method the annual reports of the chosencompanies were studied for the years 1995, 1997, 1999, 2001, and 2003. A model consisting of seven categories; health, diversity, recruitment, staff turnover and comfort, benefits and motivation, education and competence development, was developed to clarify were the development took place.Conclusions: After finishing the study one can tell that the amount of voluntary information about human resources in the annual report has increased even though the percentage share of the total annual report only has increased appreciably for manufacturing companies.

Funktionshindrade är en prioriterad målgrupp för folkhälsoarbetet i Sverige. De två viktigaste målområdena som fokuseras är rätten till jämlikhet och delaktighet i samhället samt möjligheten att kunna utföra önskade fritidsaktiviteter. Djur, exempelvis hästar, har i tidigare studier visat sig påverka funktionshindrades upplevda hälsa på ett positivt sätt och bidragit till nya kunskaper om dem själva. Syftet med den här studien var att undersöka på vilka sätt ridning som hälsofrämjande fritidsaktivitet kan bidra till en bättre upplevd hälsa och ett bättre lärande för personer med funktionshinder, och på vilket sätt ridverksamheten är uppbyggd som relateras till ett pedagogiskt perspektiv. Studien utfördes på en ridskola.

Den artificiella intelligensen i spel brukar ofta använda sig utav regelbaserade tekniker för dess beteende. Detta har gjort att de artificiella agenterna blivit förutsägbara, vilket är väldigt tydligt för sportspel. Det här arbetet har utvärderat ifall inlärningstekniken Q-learning är bättre på att spela fotboll än en regelbaserade tekniken tillståndsmaskin. För att utvärdera detta har en förenklad fotbollssimulering skapats. Där de båda lagen har använts sig av varsin teknik.
