Att upprätthålla en effektiv konkurrens är något som EG-rätten syftar till. Genom artikel 82 i EG-fördraget förhindras dominerande företag att via ensidiga förfaranden utestänga konkurrenter eller begränsa konkurrensen. Det finns flera sätt, för ett dominerande företag, att påverka konkurrensen negativt och därmed göra sig skyldigt till missbruk enligt artikel 82. Ett förfarande som under vissa omständigheter kan anses som missbruk är att leveransvägra för att stoppa eller begränsa parallellimporten. I denna uppsats diskuteras och analyseras det om under vilka förutsättningar en leveransvägran kan anses som ett missbruk av en dominerande ställning.

The aim of this study was to investigate if a mechanical recruitment process could be a useful tool for employers to avoid discrimination. National and international law protect jobseekers from discrimination during the recruiting process. Despite this individuals frequently report that they are treated unfairly when they apply for a job. In line with this research shows that some individuals do not have the same opportunities in the labour market as the rest of the population. This study focus on discrimination based on ethnicity, age, gender or disability.Today most of the hiring decisions are based on employers professional judgement.

The concept of corporate social responsibility (CSR) has lately gained popularity throughout the globalized world. Swedish retail industry is no exception. Though increased levels of explicitly claimed responsibilities of companies, a number of other facts points out a development that contradicts this trend. Labour conditions and forms of employment is substantially retrograding, with an increased level of insecurity characterizing the Swedish retail labour market. At the same time, almost all Swedish retail companies explicitly state claims on social responsibility.

This bachelor thesis has the purpose to visualize and document the air movementsprovided by different ventilation principles in an operating theatre. The visualizationwill be made as simple as possible in a physical model. The model and thedocumentation should be able to use in educational purposes.The study is based on the two most common systems for airflow, currently used inoperating theatres. The first principle is displacement ventilation in which the air issupplied at low velocity along the floor. The second principle is vertical parallel laminarairflow in which the air is compressed like a piston from ceiling to the floor.A review of literature resulted in the choice of size, design, and scale factor for themodel, as well as choices of ventilation principles and airflows.

Personer med funktionshinder har haft betydande svårigheter att etablera sig på arbetsmarknaden, trots detta har det funnits en strävan att integrera personer med funktionshinder i samhället och normalisera deras tillvaro. En diskussion som förs kring funktionshindrades villkor i dagens arbetsliv handlar om att öka möjligheterna till betalt arbete på den öppna arbetsmarknaden.Syftet med studien är att beskriva och analysera en arbetsförberedande insats fungerar som stöd för de unga mellan 20-29 år på deras väg ut i arbetslivet, sett ur ett deltagarperspektiv såväl som ett personalperspektiv.Vi har använt oss av en kvalitativ ansats och har valt intervju och deltagande observation som metod. Informanterna ör 7st varav två ät personal och fem st är deltagare. I vår resultatdel redovisar vi personalperspektivet som en verksamhetsbeskrivning och stödet delas upp i tre teman; kognitivt-, emotionellt- och praktiskt stöd. Deltagarnas perspektiv på stöd redovisas utifrån samma teman.

Different forms of relaxing methods can be used in rehabilitation for individuals with tinnitus and Ménièré?s disease. Research continues to find convincing proof of effects from the different methods. This study presents methods of relaxing, massage and Mindfulness, as possible complementary rehabilitation tools.The purpose of this study was to investigate opinions about relaxing from professionals working with hearing care. A qualitative approach with phenomenological influence was chosen for the study.

Logistics and supply chain management in the construction sector is an area with great potential for improvements. Today, a lot of the workers time is spent on non-value adding activities. Research has shown that waste is a large proportion of the total production cost in building projects today.The purpose of this report is to analyze problems concerning logistics in the construction sector. Two of Skanska?s construction projects in Uppsala have been analyzed to identify problems.

Den 20 augusti år 2013 trädde Maritime Labour Convention 2006 i kraft. Denna studie har genom intervjuer med nautiska befäl ombord på svenskflaggade fartyg och genom en litteraturstudie, undersökt hur effekten av den nya konventionen upplevts. Syftet med studien var att få insikt i hur konventionen påverkat besättningsmedlemmar samt undersöka hur kraven efterlevs och vilka förändringar som behövts göras ombord med avseende på arbetstid, vilotid och bemanning. I intervjuerna framkom det att inga större förändringar har gjorts ombord i samband med implementeringen av konventionen. Detta eftersom större delen av konventionens krav redan varit implementerade i svensk lagstiftning.

First of all parents arenow eligible to receive substantial financial support in order to compensate the loss ofincome associated with a pregnancy and or parental leave. Second, the all but nonexistentpublic child care services are being vastly expanded with the goal of beingable to offer child care service for every child age 0-3. Thirdly the tradition of schoolsending classes midday is being reformed with the aim of letting kids stay in schoolmuch longer thus enabling parents to work full-time as opposed to part-time in orderto be able to take care of kids returning from school.The hopes for these ambitious reforms are tremendous.

The aim of this study has been to examine how a few members of the Finnish and non- Scandinavian Romani subgroups experience their own, and their groups, situation on the Housing- and Labour Market. We´ve studied our respondents? experiences of discrimination, which difficulties they think there are, what strategies can be used to deal with these difficulties and also their own ideas on how to improve the situation for the Romani people in the Swedish society. This has been done by six individual structured interviews which have been analyzed with concepts from Symbolic Interactionism, including Goffman?s Dramaturgical Role Theory, definition of Stigma and Kelly?s theory of Personal Constructions.

I vår produktion har vi tagit fram ett system för order- och lagerhantering, med vikt på realtidsuppdateringar, åt en extern mottagare där infrastrukturen inte hängt med i företagets utveckling. Vi valde detta projekt i syfte att bredda våra kunskaper inom både programmering och projekthantering. Denna slutreflektion tar upp den förundersökning vi gjorde för att kunna besluta om vilka verktyg vi använde i utvecklingen, den tar även upp vårt sätt att hantera och planera projektet. Background: A nurse who is working in the health care is expected to show the best side for other people. An emotional work demands a lot of the role of a nurse, when she has to deal with her feelings after the given situation to satisfy the patient.Aim: The purpose of the study is to seek understanding of what nurses perceive to be the essence of the emotional work in health care. The study also wants to understand what factors could affect the meeting both positively and negatively between nurse and patient in social interactionMethod: The study?s methodology is qualitative with phenomenological-hermeneutical approach to seek understanding of the six interviewed nurses lived experiences and the experiences of the emotional work.Results: The result has four main themes developed: Emotional management, to consider the patients existential needs, meeting the patient and to do something meaningful.Conclusion: The essence of the perceived emotional work for nurses is emotional transformation where the nurse changes her feelings by acting according to the situation in the meeting with the patient. The purpose of this essay is to acquire variables that explain and may be used as a base for wage estimation in the private sector in Sweden. The factors that are assumed to have an impact on wage estimation are based on earlier Swedish and international studies. Business survey data, which is based upon monthly questions to firms in various sectors of the Swedish economy posed by the Swedish National Institute of Economic Research, will be analyzed to find out weather they have an impact on Swedish wage settings or not. Tests including business survey data are yet rarely frequent, why this essay will be some kind of a pioneer within the area. To estimate significant factors that influence wage setting in Sweden, three different wage equations have been modeled and tested with a regression model.
