Idag finns det i Sverige fyra olika miljöcertifieringssystem. Miljöbyggnad, GreenBuilding, LEED och BREEAM. BREEAM är det som är bäst lämpat för vår studie. Rapporten kommer att undersöka om BREEAM är tillräckligt omfattande för att avgöra den verkliga energiåtgången och miljöpåverkan för aluminium-, PVC- och träfönster. Rapporten visar att BREEAM är tillräckligt omfattande vid materialbedömningar, dock finns det en risk att man får ett sämre betyg då BREEAM vanligtvis arbetar med att göra en genomsnittlig bedömning av olika fönstermaterial. Därför kan man som individuell leverantör få ett sämre betyg än vad man kanske förtjänar.Efter jämförelse mellan de olika materialen visar det att aluminium har mest miljöpåverkan vid en primärtillverkning.

Background: Fibromyalgia is a disease wich involve cronic pain and fatigue. The disease has appeared for a long time, but it has resently become possible to diagnose. It is still unclear what cause the disease, and the treatment of it is therefore still diffuse. The lack of knowledge leads to a lot of discussions and the diagnosis is questioned. Purpose: To study how patients with fibromyalgia experineces the attitudes from staff in hospitals and health centers.

När städerna förtätas för att hantera dess urbanisering pressas dess grönområden hårt. Grönområden som är viktiga i många avseenden. På 1800-talet blev parkerna räddningen för städerna. Parkerna skulle rena städerna från föroreningar och höja den låga livskvaliteten. Trots att vi idag vet grönskans inverkan på hälsan och välmåendet är inte alla ytor som skapas tillgängliga eller kvalitativa.

Vår värld är i behov förändring för att de internationella och nationella miljö- och klimatmålen ska upp- nås. För att en förändring ska kunna ske måste utsläppen börja minska, inom en snar framtid. Men vems ansvar är det att förhindra globala klimatförändringarna? Den svenska bygg och fastighetssektorn står idag för ca 40 procent av energianvändningen i Sverige, därmed har sektorn ett stort och viktigt ansvar för det nationella miljöarbetet.Detta arbete bygger på en inledande litteraturstudie och vidare på en specifik fallstudie. En lokalbyggnad ägd av ett fastighetsföretag i Luleå har studerats.

The latest thing in the area of environmental building today is energy-plus-house. The idea behind the energy-plus-house is to create a house that produces more energy than it consumes. To accomplish this, the house uses renewable energy, in this particular case solar energy. With the help from a proper construction and thoughtfully projected installations you can achieve a surplus of energy. The surplus energy can then be sold to the surrounding buildings and thereby conduce to a financial profit for the household.

ABSTRACTOverweight and obesity is an increasing problem worldwide although high-income countries take a LEED. High BMI during pregnancy and delivery constitute to many risks for both the mother and her outcome. Intervention programmes with the purpose to get the pregnant women to eat healthier and to excercise more are now working out in many different shapes. The effect of these activities varies. The aim of this study was to investigate if interventions during pregnancy, with women who?s BMI are 25 or more, affects health of the mother and her expected child, delivery outcome and self estimated health.

Certification systems, that assess companies? work with social and environmental issues, have emerged in an increasing number of industries. Today, there are environmental certifications for the food industry, the forestry, the fisheries sector and several more. In apparel industry, certification for sustainable working conditions has been of major impact. The property sector is no exception from other industries.

ur society is today in a phase of development in environmental and sustainable thinking. Alarming reports show changes in climate caused by our load and exhaust of resources. The energy usage contributes to a big part of it, by its emission of carbon dioxide. The built environment uses around 40 % of the total energy consumption in Sweden and requests to strongly reduce it are presented from both EU and national level.This thesis brings up the subject of green building with a focus on how we can create more energy efficient buildings in projects of new construction. Since the construction industry today often fails to pass on the knowledge between different projects, as a return of experiences, the construction company Skanska suggested the topic for this thesis.

Hållbarhet har blivit ett ord i tiden och används idag flitigt inom de flesta arbetsområden, stora som små. Dock verkar hållarbetsarbetet vara mycket tomma ord och arbetet är inte lika omfattande som viljan att arbeta långsiktigt. Byggsektorn står för en stor del av energianvändningen i Sverige och där finns stora förbättringar att göra. På senare tid har ett intresse för miljöcertifiering av byggnader uppstått. Det finns vissa fördelar med att använda sig av dessa system vid byggprojekt, det finns även en del nackdelar.

I takt med att besökare och patienter ökar måste kontinuerligt Östra sjukhuset verksamhet utvecklas. Detta medför omläggningar i trafiken och förflyttningar av verksamheter. Idag finns flertalet brister kring Östra sjukhusets fysiska planering som behöver ses över, dessa är bland annat trafikflöden, säkerhetsaspekter och parkeringsmöjligheter.Rapporten redogör för förändringar i den fysiska planeringen som förbättrar dess utformning. Genom studier av relevant litteratur och diskussioner med expertis har förslag av problemområden tagits fram. Dessa har sedan bedömts efter listor av deras respektive för- och nackdelar som kunnat urskiljas.Arbetet visar framtagandet av ett väl fungerande förslag som kan verka som en bas för idéer till nutida och framtida förändringar kring den fysiska planeringen.

Solceller har på senare tid blivit allt hetare ämne inom byggbranschen med utveckling som ger allt bättre förutsättningar för dess tillämpning både gällande effektiv användning av solinstrålning och billigare tillverkningsprocess.Höga koldioxidutsläpp och det faktum att energiresurser som vi idag är beroende av kommer ta slut ställer allt högre krav på att vi som samhälle kan hitta alternativa hållbara lösningar. Solceller har stor potential för detta då de möjliggör egen lokal elförsörjning för byggnader vilket inte bara skapar trygghet för fastighetsägaren som kan nyttja den i princip oändliga energikällan solen vilket sker utan koldioxidutsläpp förutsatt att produktion av solceller sker från en förnyelsebar energikälla, det möjliggör även elproduktion i städer och andra områden närmare elanvändningen än hur det traditionellt sker idag. Denna potential ger upphov till två viktiga frågor, hur solceller påverkar ekonomin samt hur det påverkar miljön. För att lösningen skall vara attraktiv krävs att den ger utdelning både ekonomiskt och med miljöpoäng för att bidra till företagets miljöprofil.Följande arbete studerar tillämpningen av solceller i byggbranschen med fokus på ekonomi och process. Två referensobjekt ligger till grund för arbetet, Norra 2 för bostadshus och Torsplan för kontor, som används för att ta fram en resultatkalkyl för typbyggnad kontor och bostad.Studien baseras på ekonomiska modeller som livscykelkostnad, internränta, nettonuvärde, annuitet, återbetalningstid och s.k.
