70 % of the lakes and waters in the water district of northern Baltic Sea do not reach the requirements for good ecological status. This is mostly due to eutrophication caused by a too high deliverance of nutrients from agricultural land or effluents. Losses of particulate phosphorus through water erosion contribute to a great extent to this eutrophication. In the action plan for the water district cover crops are mentioned as a measure for reducing losses of phosphorus from arable land. This paper reviews the possible effect of cover crops in the water district and discusses what crop that would be most suitable.

The purpose of this study was to conduct a market survey in order to form a marketing plan to enhance and communicate the image of Vreta Kloster Golf Club. To accomplish this, the authors conducted a situation analysis on the mentioned club. Data was collected through interviews as well as secondary sources. A qualitative content analysis was used to process the interviews. The secondary sources? credibility was scrutinized before their data was used.

Background: Patients with cancer of the lung have to endure a quantity of physical, psychological and social difficulties. In their exposed position they are in need of help and support to pull through the situation. With the knowledge of factors effecting lung cancer patients? quality of life, it will be easier to give the help and support they need. Aim: The aim of this study was to describe factors effecting lung cancer patients quality of life from the patient?s perspective.

Syftet med vår uppsats är att mot bakgrund av det nu gällande styrdokumentet för gymnasieskolan, benämnt Läroplanen för den frivilliga skolan (Lpf 94), undersöka gymnasieelevers inställning till religionsämnet. Med tanke på den roll som socialisation och fostran har för ungdomars inställning till religion i allmänhet sätts vår undersökning in i ett samhällsperspektiv med fokus på förändring över tiden, och därmed förändrade villkor för religionen i samhälle, hem och skola. De nationella styrdokumenten och religionsämnets roll ser annorlunda ut i vårt mångkulturella samhälle i jämförelse med de dokument som var gällande i vårt traditionella enhetssamhälle. Uppsatsen utgår från en litteraturstudie över förändringar i samhället, religionsämnets status och roll, och hur styrdokumenten förändrats över tid. Mot bakgrund av denna litteraturstudie har vi genomfört en kvalitativ studie med enkät som metod riktad till elever i tredje klass på en gymnasieskola i Luleå kommun.

Den teoretiska grunden har hämtats utifrån tidigare forskning om det västeuropeiska äktenskapsmönstret och olika samhällsgruppers äktenskapsstrategier. En demografisk studie av 221 giftermål har sammanställts från källmaterialet Dalregementets personhistoria I och II.Resultatet av detta har visat att Dalregementets befäls sammanlagda medelålder under tidsperioden 1650?1799 var vid första äktenskapet 31,1 för män och 25,8 för deras makor.

The purpose of this literature study was to describe how patients experience their quality of life while undergoing a pacemaker implantation. Searches were carried out in the databases Academic Search Elite, Ebsco Host, Pub Med, Pub Med Central, Science Direct and manually. Keywords used were quality of life, treatment outcomes, emotions, pacing and life. This resulted in nineteen peer rewieved articles that were selected for the study results. The results showed that patients undergoing a pacemaker implantation experienced an improvement in their physical health with increased functional status, more energy and strength.

AbstractThe purpose of my essay was through economically, socially and psychologically aspects examine the impact Bethesda Children´s Ministry made on families. Special interest have been taken to how Bethesda is dealing with responsibility and expectations. Also I´ve been interested in which vital change the boy have gone through during the rehabilitation? I´ve got the information from staff, parents and former street boys through interviews done in Kenya.The first result showed that rehabilitation at Bethesda means socialisation of the boy, from the behaviour of the street, to a functional family member. A great change for the boy was stopping using drug and start live in a family.

Fresh water has become more and more of a scarce commodity. Water scarcity isn't first and foremost a cause of drought and wasting, but a cause of inequality and mismanagement. This is not only a problem for developing countries, and there can also be variations within countries. The municipality of Gotland has a development program called Vision Gotland 2025, with goals for growth and sustainable development. The aim of this study is to examine whether the use and management of water resources on Gotland and Vision Gotland 2025 is conformed to the Water Framework Directive and the Ecosystem Approach in terms of sustainability.

The essay explores nationalism in the curriculum of the swedish school from 1878 to 1994. The text has been undertaken an analysis in three levels of discourse based on Norman Faircloughs critical language analysis. The first level is the text, the second is types of discourses and the third is order of discourse.The nationalism in the curriculum has been related to three nationalistic types of discourses, derived from earlier studies on Swedish nationalism. They are conservative nationalism, ?folkhemsnationalism? and contemporary nationalism.

I Sverige har det pågått en fyra decennier lång regiondebatt om hur den regionala förvaltningen ska organiseras. Denna debatt har resulterat i ett beslut om en försöksverksamhet med regionalt självstyre i fyra län från 1 juli 1997 till 31 december 2002. I den regionala försöksverksamheten som ytterligare har förlängts till 2006 ingår Kalmar, Gotland, Skåne och Västra Götaland. De två sistnämnda regionerna är mitt undersökningsmål. Syftet med denna uppsats är att lyfta fram de väsentliga faktorer/element som kan relateras till och förknippas med regional identitet.

Grundskolan i Sverige är obligatorisk för barn. De kan inte själva bestämma om de vill gå i grundskolan eller inte. Den är inte frivillig utan lagen säger att alla barn ska gå nio år i grundskolan. I grundskolan runt om i Sverige arbetar det många personer som inte är behöriga att arbeta som lärare. Läraryrket är ett yrke där det förekommer att en outbildad kan tillfälligt ersätta en utbildad lärare.

The objective of this study was trying to understand bullying focusing on the bully. The questions at issue were: What can contribute in the making of a bully? What are the benefits and losses in bullying? What are the former bullies? thoughts on bullying, now in comparison to in their youth. This was investigated with a qualitative approach from a former bullys perspective, hence three former bullies were interviewed. The result was presented in themes and was then analysed from a social psychological and social constructionist perspective.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att ta reda på några skillnader som finns i lärarutbildningen i Sverige och Finland ur ett policyperspektiv. I arbetet har vi valt att utgå från hur lärarutbildningen utvecklats över tid samt från de resultat som framkommit i PISA-undersökningar. Resultaten visar bland annat att finska elever har ett övertag gällande läsförståelse. Den svenska lärarutbildningen har genomgått ett flertal olika reformer (Richardson, 2004) medan den finska endast genomgått ett fåtal (Uljens, 1998).Vi har intervjuat två informanter kopplade till lärarutbildningen, samt två informanter som innehar en ledande position inom PISA. Dessa muntliga och skriftliga intervjuer gav oss en uppfattning om vilka tankar och åsikter som finns kring lärarutbildningarna i de båda länderna, men också vad de tror ligger bakom de svenska lärarutbildningarnas låga status.Samtliga informanter och litteratur pekar på att lärarutbildningen kan vara en bidragande faktor till de finska elevernas goda resultat i PISA-undersökningarna..

Although being recognized as holding great cultural-historical significance by local officials, numerous parts of the functionalistic development along Friggagatan became demolished in 2008.This bachelor thesis have surveyed how the planning process proceeded through various municipal committees, and moreover, how different interest groups gathered around certain discursive attitudes. As a consequence of various paradigm shifts in society, e.g. that local government gradually are depending on private economic initiatives, there are to some extent a fear among politicians that cultural-historical demands can risk economic growth.Nevertheless, a building or a development are in fact bearing different value-perspectives, such as economic, functional and cultural-historical. Due to the fact that the heritage-sector has limited resources, in combination with sometimes vaguely and obsolete conservation documents, the sector have difficulties of responding common economic arguments, which leads that the real estate-owner gets total interpretative prerogative.However, despite a sometimes suspicious political attitude towards an improved conservation document, e.g. with continuously updates concerning a building?s technical and economic status, there are some political initiatives working towards it..

Vårt resultat visar att pekboken har en hög status och används i verksamheten på de förskolor som varit med i undersökningen. Den finns tillgänglig för barnen att läsa själv eller tillsammans med någon vuxen. Pekboken inspirerar barnen till att leka lekar,men den kan också användas som ett föremål i barnens lek. Vi ställer oss därför frågan om den borde få användas i leken, och då som leksak eller bok?I vår undersökning anser pedagogerna i förskolorna att pekboken ska behandlas på samma försiktiga sätt som andra böcker, och resultatet från intervjuerna har även gjort oss medvetna om hur vi kan läsa en pekbok.
