This study is about the work around festivals and traditions that takes place in multicultural preschools. The purpose of this study is to describe and reflect upon the work around festivals and traditions in multicultural preschools from the view of five preschool teachers who are active in their profession.  The purpose is also to investigate which festivals and traditions that are given attention at preschool and for what reason according to the preschool teachers.The method of research chosen in this study is qualitative in the form of individual interviews with the intention of obtaining and interpreting the descriptions and reflections of the informants around the subject. The results will be analyzed from an intercultural perspective.The results show that all investigated preschools celebrate the traditional Swedish festivals Christmas, St. Lucia?s day, Easter and Midsummer, and that these festivals take up lots of space in terms of time and labor.

The purpose of this essay is to examine how librarians perceive library plans, if they are important for their work and if so, in what ways. In order to analyze this, I have used a phenomenographic approach. My goal, by using this method, is to uncover perceptions and variations among these. The research questions are: What variations of perception of library plans exist among librarians? To what extent can the varied perceptions of library plans be linked to librarians' work? What does the variation of perception say, in relation to the expectations expressed in international and national documents, about library plans? The material used in a phenomenographic analysis consists of interviews.

Syftet med min studie har varit att få insyn i hur förskollärare verksamma i ett högresursområde reflekterar kring föräldrars inflytande i förskoleverksamheten. Jag har velat få syn på hur det blir i de sammanhang där förskollärarna är de som i förhållande till utbildning och lön har lägre status än föräldrarna. Vems ord väger då tyngst och vem har makten över den pedagogiska verksamheten? Empirin utgår från intervjuer med åtta stycken förskollärare verksamma på en förskola i ett högresursområde. För att få syn på ett djupare resonemang hos informanterna har metoden kvalitativa intervjuer använts.

Syftet med studien var att jämföra den upplevda arbetssituationen hos tandhygienister inom folktandvården med tandhygienister inom den privata tandvården. Tandhygienister i södra Sverige som var registrerade hos SRAT (n=313) tillfrågades att delta i studien. Enkäten skickades ut elektroniskt, vilket gav en svarsfrekvens på 48% (n=151). Inom folktandvården svarade 59% (n=101) och inom den privata tandvården svarade 35% (n=50). Enkätfrågorna omfattade arbete, arbetsklimat, arbetssituation, profession, hälsa, inflytande och stöd i yrkesrollen samt bakgrundsfrågor om ålder, kön, anställningsform och arbetstid.

Aim: Many people react negatively when they find out that I work as an estate agent. They believe that estate agents earn more money then they should. What many do not know is how hard we must work and that it doesn´t suit someone who is looking for an 8-17 work. As an estate agent I thought it would be interesting to found out why the estate agents have such a bad reputation.Method: This essay is based on the interviews with estate agents and branch organizations but also on newspaper articles about real estate agents. Theory is collected marketing, where I have concentrate on concepts of branding, positioning, communication and image.Result & Conclusions: The factors, which I found in my investigation, that have an effect to the bad reputation are; media, commission, the customers and the bidding.

Tandhygienistyrket grundades i början av 1900-talet och idag finns tandhygienister i över trettio länder och det är ett kvinnodominerat yrke. Den första tandhygienistutbildningen startade i Sverige 1968. År 1991 blev tandhygienistyrket en legitimerad profession. Syftet var att undersöka vilka kunskaper patienter i åldersgruppen 50 - 65 år har om legitimerade tandhygienisters yrkesroll samt patienternas attityder till tandhygienistbehandling. Frågeställningarna var "vilken kunskap har patienter i åldersgruppen 50 - 65 år om legitimerade tandhygienisters yrkesroll?" och "vilka attityder har patienter i åldersgruppen 50 - 65 år till tandhygienistbehandling?" Projektet genomfördes som en intervjustudie med kvalitativ metod.

Att vårda döende patienter ingår som en viktig del i sjuksköterskans profession och syftar till att lindra lidande och förbättra livskvaliten för dessa patienter och deras närstående. Vården av döende patienter baseras på den palliativa vården som vilar på fyra hörnstenar: symtomlindring, närståendestöd, teamarbete samt kommunikation och relation. Oavsett vårdkontext, kommer sjuksköterskan att möta döende patienter och skall därför kunna erbjuda god omvårdnad även till dessa patienter och deras närstående. Syftet med litteraturstudien är att beskriva grundutbildade sjuksköterskors upplevelser av att vårda döende patienter. Litteraturstudien baseras på 11 kvalitativa vetenskapliga artiklar som är analyserade enligt Fribergs modell för kvalitativ analys.

The population over 65 years of age is increasing and health in elderly has been a subject of research for decades but voice function and vocal health has not been prioritized. The purpose of this study is to obtain reference value for the Swedish version of Voice Handicap Index (RHI) and the Throat Scale among people over 65 years of age and assess voice function and vocal health for this age group. The questions were as followed:1) What is the reference value of RHI for people over 65 years of age? 2) What is the reference value of the Throat Scale for people over 65 years of age? 3) Is there a correlation between a self-rated VA-scale on the perceived degree of voice problems, and the self-rated RHI-/Throat Scale result? 4) Does age, gender or previous profession matter for the self-perceived voice?In total 100 individuals participated in the study, 50 women and 50 men, between 65 and 92 years old. The reference value of RHI for people over 65 years of age was 13,4 points and the reference value for the Throat Scale was 7,7 points.

The aim is to describe and analyze how the branch of real estate works with confidence and codes of conduct.Method:I have an qualitative approach in which interviews have been used to collect data and literature studies to collect theoretical information. The collected material have been analyzed from a hermeneutical perspective.Result & Conclusions:To some extent the real estate branch works with the establishment of Codes of Conduct to strengthen the confidence. This is shown by increased transparency to increase customers commitment in the bidding. The aim of this study is to explore if and how library managers market their competence in communication with local politicians. It is also our aim to find a definition of the competence of librarians. The report identifies and describes problems and possibilitieswith marketing of competence to politicians on the basis of one Swedish municipality's library managers. In order to fulfil this aim we have used a literature study on marketing, competence, the political process and the librarian profession. We have alsocarried out an empirical study where we interviewed ten library managers in onemunicipality, seven politicians in the same municipality and ten representatives for central professional organisations mainly in Sweden.The results are that most library managers don't market their competence because they don?t believe in marketing competence.

Syftet med min uppsats var att undersöka vilka bilder socionomstudenter på termin 3 och 4 uppfattade att socionomutbildningen på Göteborgs universitet gav av Socialtjänsten. Jag har gjort en kvalitativ studie där jag haft 4 fokusgruppsintervjuer med studenter. Jag har undersökt hur studenterna uppfattar att bilden av socialtjänsten framställs, i relation till socialtjänsten som samhällsfunktion och socialtjänsten som framtida arbetsplats. Jag har analyserat mitt material med ett avstamp ur Bourdieus teorier om fält, habitus och kapital. Det framkom i min studie att socialtjänsten framställdes som en viktig samhällsinstans, men med oförmåga att fullfölja sitt uppdrag, på grund av inkompetens, stress och otillräckliga resurser.

Denna studie beskriver sju gymnasielärares uppfattningar om stöd och samtal i förhållande till sina kolleger och arbetsledning.  Den vetenskapliga metod som använts för undersökningen är kvalitativ och inspirerad av fenomenografin. I resultatet har sex övergripande kategorier vad gäller lärarnas upplevelser av fenomenen analyserats fram. De talar om lösningar av problem, samarbetet, tidsaspekten, inflytande och delaktighet, samtalens struktur och lärarrollen. Lärarna i undersökningen var överlag nöjda med tiden de fick för samtal med kolleger och ledning samt upplevde att stöd fanns att få vid behov. Då problem uppstod i arbetet kunde de få hjälp av kollegerna, skolledningen eller av skolans resurspersonal.

Syftet med denna C-uppsats är att beskriva den redaktionella bloggens format med hjälp av tre huvudfrågor. Fråga ett rör innehåll och ämne i redaktionellt anknutna bloggar, fråga två hur dagstidningar förhåller sig till bloggformatet som en del av utbudet på den egna webbsidan och fråga tre hur bloggen används av och påverkar den journalistiska yrkesrollen.För att besvara fråga ett och tre har jag utfört en kvantitativ innehållsanalys av totalt 30 blogginlägg från tio redaktionellt anknutna bloggar. För att besvara fråga två har jag gått igenom 60 dagstidningars webbsidor och antecknat deras förhållningssätt till bloggar som en del av utbudet.Min undersökning visar att bloggen är en ny typ av genre med outnyttjad potential inom den traditionella journalistiken. Ämnesvalen i blogginläggen rör nöje, sport, spel och ledare. Ett normaliserande av bloggen går att se med exempel där enskilda bloggförfattare håller kvar vid ett traditionellt refererande i skildrandet samt medieföretagens förhållningssätt till bloggen som en del av utbudet på webbsidan.

Kronisk sjukdom är ett ökande problem och kräver en ökad kunskap bland vårdpersonal. Enligt WHO dog 35 miljoner människor av kronisk sjukdom under 2005. En kronisk sjukdom är långvarig, har ett långsamt förlopp och är obotlig. Yrkeskunskap, etik och lagar reglerar sjuksköterskans profession. Många med kronisk sjukdom drabbas av kronisk sorg som är en naturlig reaktion på en pågående förlust.

AbstractThe Swedish school is the biggest place of work in the country. Statistics about the Swedish school shows that both students and teachers work in an environment who has elements of violations, threats and violence, and study environments where many students do not feel they have a study environment during class. The purpose with this study has been to investigate if teachers and principals is given the right conditions in their respective educations to pursue their professional profession to achieve the objectives of the goals with the systematic safety and work environment of the school's safety concerns. The study has been designed as an investigation about respective educations syllabus and has been examined by the presence about systematic safety and knowledge about work environment law in respective courses. The examination about respective educations syllabus has been done by a qualitative content analysis.
