Purpose ? The purpose of this thesis is to develop a total cost model for container transports and create a tool that calculates a suitable transport quantity from an economic view, which fulfills the demands on delivery service. To achieve this purpose the following questions will be answered:Which costs are affected by the decision between the two transport alternatives LCL and FCL?   How does the decision of sending product LCL or FCL influence the delivery service?  How can a tool be constructed to simplify the decision-making process regarding the choice of sending products LCL or FCL?  Method ? A total cost model was developed. This model is supported from existing literature.

The industry of management training programs is increasing rapidly. Every year numerous organizations sponsor expensive management training programs for their managers, hoping that this will pay off and make the organizations more profitable. The companies that offer these management training programs could be seen as important conveyers of conceptions of leadership. Thus, the purpose of this thesis is to identify similarities between a number of management training programs and see how they are related to different leadership theories , and based on this try to recognize the conceptions of leadership that are conveyed. The study is of qualitative nature and is based on interviews with representatives from five management training companies in Sweden along with a text analysis of written material presented by the companies.

The purpose of this literature study was to describe how patients experience their quality of life while undergoing a pacemaker implantation. Searches were carried out in the databases Academic Search Elite, Ebsco Host, Pub Med, Pub Med Central, Science Direct and manually. Keywords used were quality of life, treatment outcomes, emotions, pacing and life. This resulted in nineteen peer rewieved articles that were selected for the study results. The results showed that patients undergoing a pacemaker implantation experienced an improvement in their physical health with increased functional status, more energy and strength.

Annedal is a brand new neighborhood in the Bromma part of Stockholm. The neighborhood construction has now reached its halfway point. When finished, 5000 people are estimated to live in Annedal. The focus for the new area is variation. Both housing co-operatives and rented apartments have been built and more are under construction.A study about the valuation of town quality in the Stockholm region was produced by the Stockholm County Council in 2011.

Bakgrund: En pågående trend inom hälso- och sjukvården är införandet av marknadsreformer. Den lag som ska tillämpas när ett vårdvalssystem införs är lagen om valfrihetssystem (LOV). På grund av att landstingen är självstyrande kan formerna för organisation och styrning variera.Syfte: Att undersöka och beskriva hur landsting praktiskt arbetar med att följa upp privata vårdgivare inom primärvården, med avseende på kvalitet i vården.Metod: Deskriptiv fallstudie med triangulering.Resultat: I alla de tre fallen framhålls att uppföljningen av de offentliga och privata vårdcentralerna är likadan. Det görs uppföljning av samtliga vårdcentraler en gång per år. Till denna samlas data in från olika källor.

Konsumenter vill gärna tro att de fattar rationella beslut utifrån en produkts faktiska egenskaper. Det har däremot visat sig att konsumenter inte alltid är helt rationella utan ofta influeras av en produkts yttre stimuli, som exempelvis pris och varumärke. Vetskapen om hur yttre stimuli faktiskt påverkar konsumenters upplevda kvalitet beroende på produkt är ytterst vital och kan bistå marknadsförare med värdefull information i sitt dagliga arbete. Syftet med uppsatsen att undersöka till vilken grad yttre stimuli i form av pris, varumärke och tidigare konsumenters produktbetyg påverkar konsumentens upplevda kvalitet för en dagligvara respektive en sällanköpsvara. För att besvara syftet har fem hypoteser sammanställts utifrån vald teori.

Previous research and patient complaints to the Swedish Patient Support Committee shows that there is a lack of substance in the patient-nurse relationship. This may suggest that it can be difficult for health care to live up to health-care law which requires it to be of good quality, based on dignity and respect and designed so that the patient is an active participant and can make their own decisions when it comes to their health care. For a better understanding of what a dignified patient-nurse relationship is, this study aims to clarify what the patient values as good patient-nurse relationship and describe how they have experienced the patient-nurse relationship during their stay at an emergency care department. The study is a descriptive cross-sectional study with a quantitative approach, where the population consisted of patients who were cared for at an emergency care department in the County of Västmanland, Sweden during 2007. The sample consisted of 93 patients which were asked to answer a questionnaire.

Vi har fått ett flertal viktiga insikter och lärdomar om nödvändiga ingredienser i god management. Först och främst en förståelse för hur viktigt det är med ökad självinsikt. Därigenom ökar förståelsen för andra personers beteende. Även det omvända gäller; genom andras beteende kan självinsikten öka. Lärdomen har implikationer på alla nivåer av management då en organisation grundar sig på samspelet mellan människor.

To meet these challenges, Talent Management was developed during the 1990s and supplies a new and innovative way to deal with personnel management. Background: School health services of today focus on prevention and health promotion within the school. A collaboration between the school health services and the student care team from the guidelines with focus on the student, is expected. Purpose: The purpose was to illustrate School nurses  vocational experiences and what the role of school health services in the student care team at upper secondary schools of John Bauer in relationship to the vision of the school. Method: Qualitative content analysis with inductive approach was used (Lundman &Hällgren-Graneheim, 2008). Data was collected by interviewing  school nurses at  School of John Bauer.

Abstract: Since the implementation of IFRS, many changes in accounting standards have occured. Companies that follow IFRS must therefore always adapt and change its accountingprinciples according to changes made by IFRS. The latest change that companies must consider and adapt to in their financial accounting is the revised version of IAS 19 regarding pensions. This study aims to investigate if there is a relationship between financial accounting and management accounting due to changes made by IASB. More specifically the study investgates how the removal of the corridormethod and the introduction of IAS 19 as an external approach has affected its management accounting in three large corporations in Sweden.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka samband mellan kvalitet på skriftliga omdömen och elevers resultat på nationella prov och därigenom även belysa effekter av lärares undervisningskompetens. Bakgrunden ges i form av en kort överblick över vad forskning säger om bedömning och effekter på lärande. Därefter beskriver jag några statliga insatser och utvärderingar samt presenterar tre dokumentstudier som beskriver hur lärare skriver omdömen. Jag redogör också för min teoretiska utgångspunkt, som är det sociokulturella perspektivet, och beskriver hur dokumentanalysen genomfördes samt förtydligar vilka kriterier på god kvalitet i omdömen jag använt mig av och hur relationen mellan dessa kriterier och resultaten från nationella prov undersöktes. Resultaten i min studie visar att skillnader i kvalitet på de skriftliga omdömena korrelerar med elevers resultat på nationella prov.
