SammanfattningDet började med att vi var intresserade av vad kvalitet är och vad kvalitet innebär i fritidshemmet. Vi var även angelägna om att finna ut om kvalitet är en fråga om resurser eller om pedagogen också har en viktig roll i det sammanhanget. Därför blev det naturligt för oss att undersöka hur förutsättningarna för lärande ser ut i fritidsverksamheten. Våra forskningsfrågor blev; Hur beskrivs en fritidspedagogs yrkesutövning? Och vad avses med kvalitet i fritidshem? För att undersöka detta valde vi att göra en textanalys som baseras på Skolinspektionens granskning av kvalitet i fritidshem.

Service Design is a relatively new, unexplored and exciting phenomenon that through an interdisciplinary work methodology designs services. A discussion has been going on for a long time regarding whether there is a difference between products and services. Services are often classified as immaterial, heterogeneous, non-storable and inseparable in relation to products. A question that arises is if something specific characterises the work methodology used regarding service design. The aim with this paper is thus to explain the work methodology when working with service design.

Species that have a high degree of specialization and poor dispersal ability can be more prone to extinction than more generalist species and good dispersers. How these species traits affect the viability of populations is dependent on landscape factors,such as isolation and connectivity. Additionally, interactions between species (e.g. symbiosis), and how these interactions vary spatially and temporally can have a large impact on populations. When the range and habitat areas of a species continuously decrease, management strategies are often needed if the species shall be able to survive.

Background: Earlier studies show that nurses work environment is a factor that may affect the quality in nursing care negatively. Other factors are: number of employees, working hours, work structure and planning and working relationships between colleagues. Work relationships are particularly important for nurses as they can affect patient safety. Nurses are prone to stressrelated illnesses and high stress levels prove to have a negative affect on the quality of nursing care. To develop and assure the quality demands effort from every employee.

AbstractThe urgency to find alternative fabrics to conventionally produced cotton is increasing as vast amounts of agrochemicals are used and a lot of irrigation is required. In this literature survey the potential of organic cultivation practices to produce highly qualitative hemp fibre, suitable for the textile industry, was investigated. The definition of a fibre in the textile context as well as of the qualities that are essential for a textile fibre was necessary as a base for the discussion in this thesis. The quality parameters looked at were fineness, strength, length, friction, and colour. The impact of external growth factors and plant development on these quality properties are discussed.

The development of technology and the mechanization in the Swedish forestry has during the last 60 years resulted in depopulation of the country side and due to that the amount of distance forest owners has increased. Therefore the forest companies need to make some adjustments in order to keep the distance forest owners as customers and to attract new ones. The purpose of this essay was to examine and analyze the distance forest owners satisfaction with Södras service offering and quality of service and further develop some proposals for action. A web-based survey was sent out to 634 distance forests owners in Stockholm, Sweden, all members of Södra. 269 respondents participated in the survey and of them, 27 did also participate in a follow-up telephone interview.

In 2009 The National Land Survey of Sweden, Lantmäteriet, commenced a project intended to provide a new digital elevation model (DEM) of Sweden. The method chosen for the project was airborne laser scanning (ALS). In addition to information about the land surface the project will also provide information about the forest, this as a by-product. This data can be used to estimate forest variables such as height and volume. The estimates are often more reliable than what is standard today. This study is based on interviews with employees and members of the forest owner association Södra in southern Sweden.

New Public Management (NPM) vågen, som bygger på ett marknadsorienterat synsätt, bidrog på 1990-talet till att privata aktörer välkomnades inom offentlig sektor. Lagen om valfrihet (LOV), trädde i kraft 2009, och många kommuner har infört LOV sedan dess. Det är valfritt för kommuner att införa valfrihetssystemet som LOV reglerar, dock finns förslag av föregående regering om ett lagtillägg att alla kommuner skall införa LOV.Det finns motstånd bland befolkningen mot vinster inom vård och omsorg, och debatt pågår kring privatisering. Det finns en pågående diskussion kring att valfrihetssystemet gynnar friskare personer som mer aktivt kan göra ett val.I vård och omsorg menar man ofta god kvalitet när man använder ordet kvalitet, och åtskilliga mätningar görs inom området.Har LOV bidragit till utveckling av svensk äldreomsorg, och har processerna påskyndats? Resultatet i denna studie visar inte på stora eller systematiska skillnader i upplevd kvalitet hos de som har valt privat eller offentlig hemtjänst.

ABSTRACTThe aim of the observation study was to examine the dental hygienists working tasks and the time they used carrying them out. Four dental hygienists where observed during four days each. The total time the dental hygienists used with patients during sixteen fulltime days come to a sum of 89 hours of the possible 111 hours. Twelve hours was late cancels and time when patients didn?t come to their appointment and ten hours were used for meetings.

Då konkurrensen blir allt hårdare bland företag, har kvalitet blivit ett allt viktigare konkurrensmedel. För att kunna ge hög kvalitet till sina kunder, måste företaget ha hög kvalitet internt. Allt fler företag inför därför ett kvalitetssystem som hjälpmedel för att styra kvaliteten åt rätt håll. Ett av de vanligaste kvalitetssystemen är ISO 9000. Detta examensarbete behandlar de förändringar som sker efter införandet av ISO 9000 i IT-företag.I undersökningen har fyra kvalitetsansvariga på fyra olika IT-företag intervjuats om vilka förändringar som har skett i deras företag.

The following essay investigates emission rights accounting. Presently there are several methods through which emission rights can be accounted for by companies. The rights can for instance be valued at fair value or nominal value and as marketable securities or intangible assets; due to a lack of consensus or clear standards companies use these or other accounting methods to value their rights. This essay investigates whether there is a relationship between the company?s choice of accounting method, the key ratio number of owned emission rights/total assets, the accounting firm used and the yearly result as a sign of earnings management.Through a quantitative study based on questioners and numbers from the annual reports three hypothesis are tested.

In this thesis, high quality adverts are examined from the perspective of the advertisement contest Guldägget. The study discusses award-winning advertisement, both in terms of content and design, according to Guldägget?s jury members, industry experts and various theorists. Semiotics is used to analyse Guldägget?s winning adverts.

The main purpose of this thesis is to examine the process of selecting films at Bibliotekstjänst and at Swedish public libraries. The tools that have been used for analysing and interpreting the results from the interviews and the questionnaire are theory-based models describing the selection process concerning film and Carl Gustav Johannsen?s quality definitions. The result of the investigation shows that Bibliotekstjänst doesn?t really work with any quality definitions in their selection process.

Background: Long-term stress can lead to reduced health among nurses which can result in impaired quality of care. Stress in nurses' work needs to be studied in order to prevent stress and impaired quality of care. Aim: The aim of this study was to describe nurses' experience of occupational stress and factors that contribute to occupational stress. Method: The method used was a literature review. Results: The analysis resulted in five themes which describe nurses' experiences of occupational stress and factors that contribute to occupational stress.

If Swedish companies are to compete with companies in low-cost countries they have to achieve a more efficient production. The purpose of Total Productivity Maintenance (TPM) is to increase the company's profitability by increasing the productivity. TPM is a method that involves all employees and aims to prevent failures in order to increase the availability of existing equipment.The aim of this paper is to evaluate the implementation process of TPM and give recommendations for the further implementation process. The conclusion and the analysis are based on a case study done at a production department at ABB Cewe-Controls facilities in Nyköping. The case study consists mainly of qualitative data from participation observations, surveys and interviews.Commitment of the management is a key factor in the implementation process of TPM.
