Syftet med denna studie var att bidra med kunskap om kriminalv?rdares upplevelser av sin arbetssituation och de utmaningar och stressorer de m?tte i sitt arbete. F?r det andra var syftet att unders?ka vilka strategier som anv?ndes av kriminalv?rdare f?r att ta sig an dessa utmaningar och stressorer. Empirin f?r studien bestod av sex semistrukturerade intervjuer med kriminalv?rdare som arbetar p? ett h?kte i Sverige.Vi anv?nde oss av en kvalitativ metod med en abduktiv ansats. Studiens resultat visade att stress relaterad till personalbrist och h?g personaloms?ttning var central i kriminalv?rdares arbete.

Purpose: The Swedish correctional service is on the brink of its biggest expansion in history, due to political investments related to battling a rise in gang related criminality. The purpose of this thesis is to exam and understand the strategic competence supply work from an employer perspective and investigate the elements included in the Swedish correctional service competence supply form a regional perspective. The study specifically focus on what strategies the Swedish correctional service employ to attract, recruit, develop and retain workforce. Theory: The theoretical framework of the study includes among others, a model divided into three different phases (within, in and out) within competence supply, the demand-control-support model, push and pull factors, as well as the two-factor theory. Method: This study has a qualitative approach with semi structured interview as its specific method. A total of seven interviews were conducted with personnel within the swedish correctional service. Results: The main challenges are related to recruitment, staff retention, support of managers, and the fact that many correctional officers do not have time to complete their training before leaving. The latter is particularly significant are of concern.

Under de senaste ?ren har fr?gan d?remot f?tt ?kad politisk prioritet och stort medialt genomslag, s?rskilt i samband med flera uppm?rksammade fall ofta kopplade till grov organiserad brottslighet. Den 29 september 2023 gav regeringen Kriminalv?rden i uppdrag att f?rbereda ungdomsf?ngelser f?r unga i ?ldern 15?17 ?r, baserat p? bet?nkandet SOU 2023:44.

This study looks at how probation, client experiences, and criminal policy decisions affect recidivism in Sweden. Gaining a thorough grasp of how social, organizational, and political issues interact and impact the chances of rehabilitation and reintegration is the goal. Three research questions are addressed in the study: First, what are the causes of recidivism? Second, how is probation perceived by staff and clients in terms of control and support? Thirdly, what effects do political decisions have on probation services' operations and clients' chances for recovery?? A qualitative study was conducted with semi-structured interviews with twelve respondents, eight probation clients, three probation officers and one parliamentary politician. There were six themes that discussed the issue of recidivism from different perspectives, the collected data was analyzed through thematic content analysis.

Till f?ljd av den utmaning som Sverige st?r inf?r g?llande den v?xande kriminaliteten v?cktes en nyfikenhet kring ?terintegreringsprocesser som ska f?rebygga och minska ?terfall till brott. Med ett pedagogiskt intresse syftar denna studie d?rmed till att unders?ka det enskilda Kramikontorets centrala roll i ?terintegreringen f?r klienter till arbetslivet. Krami ?r en arbetsmarknadsinsats best?ende av tre samverkande myndigheter, vilka ?r Kriminalv?rden, Arbetsf?rmedlingen samt kommunen. Studien ?mnar till att framst?lla de anst?lldas perspektiv p? Krami ?s arbete f?r att kunna synligg?ra hur v?l verksamheten upplevs bidra till ?terintegreringen till arbetslivet.
