This paper reports a study in how interaction design and graphic design is affected in the process of developing an mobile application to complement the use of an existing webbsite. The paper also ask how developers are affected in this process by the use of designpatterns. The purpous of the report was to see how designpatterns affects the development of mobile applications and how the interaction and graphic design differs between various company webbsites and their related application. A study was conducted by comparing three diffrent webbsites with three related applications to find material for our thesis. Interviews were conducted on three diffrent companys that work professionaly with creating mobile applications.

The purpose of this thesis is to describe what Building Information Modeling, BIM, could mean for landscape architects, and also hopefully to make sense of the possibilities and problems of the system. BIM is about virtual design and is based on all consultancy groups in the design team modeling in 3D. Intelligent objects and metadata, such as price and material, are used. The project group has a common interchange format for simple sharing of information. To get an idea of how the situation with BIM for landscape architects looks like today, I collected information mostly through interviews.

Collaborative planning ? a comparative study of theory and practice Why There is today, according to my experience, a growing interest and demand for a more inclusive and transparent planning process. Also, if we are going to be able to reach a truly sustainable society it is my belief that there is a need for a more integrated collaboration between different actors. Where the social, economic and ecological values can influence and benefit from each other. The question then is, how can the planning system accommodate that kind of collaboration? Purpose My aim for this thesis has been to study a selection of the theoretical work that exist about collaborative planning.

I denna studie ville jag ta reda på hur datorn som pedagogiskt verktyg kan förändra eller förbättra undervisningen. Skulle datorn kunna vara ett kreativt redskap som gör att undervisningen blir effektivare och roligare eller är den ett distraktionsmoment? Vad anser pedagogerna och eleverna om datorernas effekt i undervisningsmiljöerna? För att få svar på dessa frågor valde jag både en kvalitativ och kvantitativ metod. I den kvalitativa delen intervjuade jag fyra pedagoger och i den kvantitativa delen samlade jag in information från så gott som samtliga skolans elever via en webb-baserad enkätundersökning. I denna undersökning kom jag fram till att eleverna är medvetna om datorns distraktionsmoment. Över 50% uppgav att de gjorde annat än skolarbete på datorn vid varje lektion.

This study is about conception in the evaluation of financial assistance within the social services. The aim of this study is to describe and understand how social workers reason about variation, conception and local norms and its significance in the evaluation process. To reach this purpose we have conducted semi-structured interviews with eight social workers in which different themes were discussed and reasoned about. In order to understand and analyze our results we have studied/used the knowledge about tacit knowledge and street-level bureaucracy. Our results showed, as previous research states, that social workers do have conceptions about clients.

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the employers? responsibilities for rehabilitation ofemployees in Sweden, who due to illness or injury are unable to work. The process of therehabilitation will be analyzed in a gender perspective. A minor comparative study aboutrehabilitation in Denmark will also be carried out. The purpose is to see how the process ofthe rehabilitation is designed for those who due to illness or injury are unable to work, whichfactors that affects the rehabilitation and which differences there are between Denmark andSweden regarding the employers responibility for rehabilitation.

In recent years, the demands for effectiveness and evidence in social work have increased in all work areas, including that of healthcare. This has sparked the discussion on concepts such as practical- and theoretical knowledge and their respective roles in social work. In the light of this, the purpose of this candidate thesis is to investigate healthcare social workers understanding of practical- and theoretical knowledge in the working process as well as their respective influence and importance. This candidate thesis is based on three interviews with social workers from different departments in Norrlands Universitetssjukhus in Umeå, Sweden. To provide range to the thesis, the interviewees were chosen from a purposeful sampling.

På så vis kan DIS uttalat utveckla innovationsarbetet och stå sig bättre på marknaden.SyfteHuvudsyftet med examensprojektet är att tydliggöra de interna processerna på DIS som potentiellt faller inom ramen för innovation och eventuellt ge förbättringsförslag kopplade till innovation. Syftet kopplat till lärandemålen är också att få kunskap och förståelse för innovativa processer och hur dessa tar sig uttryck i arbetslivet.MetodDet empiriska materialet i examensprojektet inhämtades genom en kreativ övning samt fem semistrukturerade intervjuer. Den empiriska informationen har därefter vägts mot den teori som selekterats och är av relevans för denna typ av studie.

Lärarna arbetar på gymnasieskolans hantverksprogram, inriktning hår och makeup stylist.I min studie analyseras arbetet utifrån två liknande lektionspass i hantverksteknik, årskurs två på olika gymnasieskolor, utifrån teoretiska perspektiv inom estetisk verksamhet, kreativitet, bedömning samt nyckeltermer som de ?fyra f:en?; fakta, förståelse, färdighet och förtrogenhet.Uppsatsens resultat visar att det både finns skillnader och likheter mellan lärarnas arbetssätt, förutsättningar samt gällande elevinflytande..

Den 11:e sptember 2001 inträffade västvärldens i särklass värsta terror dåd på Manhattan i New York. I samma ögonblick som det första planet plöjde in i ett av World Trade Centers torn började in process mot ett fullskaligt krig mellan USA och Terrorismen. I denna process har vi skiljt ut två personer och tre beslut som vi anser i hög grad har påverkat det efterföljande kriget. George W. Bush och Donald rumsfeld har i vår mening satt tydliga spår på den fortsatta utvecklingen.

Uppsatsens fokus utgörs av den tröghet som präglar processen mot en jämnare köns-fördelning på samhällets högre chefspositioner. Den inleds med en kartläggning av aktuell forskning, som omfattar områdena genus och ledarskap, ledarskapsutbildning, organisationskultur och makt samt en intervjuundersökning som kompletteras med policydokumentanalys. Utifrån analysen som materialet genererar drar jag slutsatser som resulterar i förslag till en alternativ ledarskapsutbildning. Uppsatsens primära syfte är att genom litteraturstudie, kvalitativt upplagda intervjuer med personer på chefsbefattningar, chefsutvecklare, pedagoger inom ledarskapsutveckling, kreativt skrivande och rollspel samt dokumentanalys undersöka förutsättningarna för kvinnli-ga chefer och ledare. Det sekundära syftet är att motivera upplägget på en ledarskaps-utbildning, som både möjliggör en könsutjämning och erbjuder en mall för kreativ le-darskapsutveckling oavsett tidigare hierarkier och strukturer.

It is also well known that the factory planning shapes the manufacturing process to a great extent. Consequently it is logical to assume that the manufacturing companies? factory planning process plays a major role in the work for increased sustainability.

This thesis focuses on the testing activities at the stages of development and change regardingintegration brokers. The study aimed to examine the overall challenges that exist regarding thetesting activities within this context, and the thoughts towards the development method testdrivendevelopment (TDD). TDD emphasizes high level of test coverage and where the testprocess is well integrated with the development process. To seek answers to our question weapplied qualitative interviews with companies and respondents to try to understand the globalchallenges that are related to this work and processes. The main conclusions presented in thisstudy is that the overall challenges are involving and educating project participants in the testingprocess activities and the contributory effect test have on the end product.
