The purpose of this essay was to find out if it is possible to:? Detect different groups of gender among children in grave materiel and church art and if that was the case, in what way?? What different groups of children can be seen in these two categories?? What does the material say about children's position in society? The time span is from early Christian time to 17-th century and the geographical region is Sweden and Denmark. I got my information from published literature and different pages on the Internet. The conclusions were that gender among children can be detected in both types of material but different groups were not ?visible? to the same degree.

Jag utförde mitt examensarbete hos Peab på projektet Kiruna dammhöjning 2013. Peab hade entreprenaden på beställning av LKAB. Examensarbetet utgörs av flera delar. Dels fakta om maskinstyrning, avprickningsplan och statistik över maskinkontroll.Maskinstyrningen kontrollerades kontinuerligt i höjd och position. Jag studerade hur stora avvikelserna har varit på noggrannheten.

The purpose with this study was to examine six caseworkers and two clients? experiences of interaction in the investigative work of social assistance. Moreover, how the interaction between caseworkers and clients are affected by the structure of the social assistance unit. The study also wanted to show how interaction rituals contribute to the change in assessment procedure in the investigative work. The study even aimed to highlight the ways in which social exclusion occurs in investigative work from caseworkers and client?s capital and gender.

A growing need to strengthen ones position on the market, even as a city in competition with other cities, has resulted in an increasing number of municipalities developing brand platforms. When the city of Umeå developed their platform, they identified decision makers and investors as one of four important target groups.The aim of this study is to explore the portrayed image of the city of Umeå in two Swedish trade journals which addresses the specific target group decition makers and investors in both public and private sector. The aim is also to compare the image of Umeå in the two papers, to the ambition of the municipality, expressed in the brand platform.In order to make the observations as firmly established as possible, the method of the study is a combination of a quantitative content analysis and a qualitative text analysis. The study draws on the theories of Eli Avraham and Philip Kotler, concerning how to improve city images and how to market a specific city among others. The study shows that the city of Umeå in large extent is portrayed in accordance to the ambition which the municipality expressed in the brand platform.Umeå is displayed as an expanding city.

The retail banking market in Sweden is highly concentrated and oligopolistic. This has been confirmed by numerous reports from different competition authorities within the EU, for example the Swedish competition authority. A considerably high number of different sorts of competition barriers has been pointed out in these reports. The competition barriers are mainly directed to the smaller banks and the potential competition. The retail banking market in Sweden is dominated by four major banks, which together has over 80 percent of all market shares.

Det är också viktigt att företaget har en klar bild av sin kärnkompetens och av karaktären på den aktivitet som eventuellt ska insourcas.Syftet med denna är att undersöka vilka orsaker som kan ligga bakom ett insourcingbeslut samt att studera effekter som kan uppstå i samband med insourcing. Både Sandvik AB Mining and Constructions och Atlas Copco AB Construction Mining Technique har valt att koncentrera produktion från utlandet till Sverige och det är deras insourcingprojekt som analyseras i uppsatsen. Båda företagen räknas som världsledande aktörer på marknaden för maskiner och komponenter till gruvindustrin.

This report describes a master thesis performed at Saab in Arboga. The main purpose was to build a controller for a system containing a turn table and an antenna beam. The idea is to use this system on a boat where it will be exposed to position disturbances due to waves. The desired behaviour is that antennas placed on the antenna beam should point towards the same target all the time. To solve this problem the system has been modeled and simulated in Matlab and Simulink.

The purpose of this essay is to examine Swedish HR-managers who have either received, or been nominated for, the award ?HR-manager of the Year?. We investigate the managers? personalities, how they think about their own role and HR?s function in the organization, all in an environment that can be characterized by some skepticism towards HR. We find the HR-managers to be ?winners?; strong individuals that are confident, communicative, and driven.

The aim of this study was to determine the basic movements of the riders? pelvis and upper body when riding in trot seated. The study was preformed at a treadmill with seven high level dressage horses and their riders. The movements of the horse and rider were captured with a motion analysis system (ProReflex®) and also recorded on video. The horses were ridden in collected trot, 3.0 m/s.

This essay comprises a study of the bridal crowns of Tjust, with respect to their national history, concept and aspect of mythological symbol. The tradition of bearing the parochial bridal crown is closely associated with religious medieval politics, and has also come to include elements of superstition and folklore. Attention is paid to these aspects dealing with the position of the bridal crown within current forms of tradition and culture and the impact on brides of this day and age. As the tradition of Church-owned bridal crowns is intrinsic to this country, and especially in the area of which Tjust is a part, possible solutions to the continued tradition are investigated..

Skogsindustrin har i århundraden utgjort en viktig näring, ur såväl sysselsättningssynpunktsom exportsynpunkt, för Sverige. Utvecklingen för sågverk går mot en ökad rationaliseringdär storskalighet anses vara ett krav för överlevnad. Det är av stor vikt att utnyttja befintligkapacitet och råvara på bästa sätt för att kunna bibehålla en konkurrenskraftig produktion.Detta examensarbete syftar till att påvisa effekterna på produktivitet och produktionskostnadervid produktion med ett tre timmerlängder. Detta innebär att varje berörd timmerklass iställetför ett fack behöver tre.För att frigöra fack i timmersorteringen krävs bredare timmerklasser vilket får konsekvensensänkt utbyte. För att kompensera detta krävs en produktivitetsökning.

Article 4.1(h) in the Rome I regulation establishes which law that will be applicable on contracts concerning financial instruments concluded in multilateral systems. The main problem is that most contracts concluded within these systems have standard clauses which contain a clause on the applicable law. If this is the case, Article 3.1 in the Rome I Regulation is applicable instead. This problem makes it difficult to find a need for article 4.1(h) if it will only be applicable in exceptional cases. However, the legal position on this matter is still unclear since the Rome I Regulation has just been put into force.

Syfte: Syftet med studien är att identifiera de största faktorerna som reducerar motivation i Länsförsäkringar Gävleborg. Faktorerna benämns som motivationsfaktorer. Målet är att medvetengöra dem så att de i största möjliga mån kan elimineras. Förhoppningen är att detta leder till nöjdare anställda och en mer konkurrenskraftig organisation.Metod: Studien har en kvantitativ ansats där empirin består av en enkätundersökning med 22 frågor. Tre till fem frågor är kopplade till varje faktor i vår modell.

Detta arbete redogör för vilka arter som står att finna på ett av Alnarps så kallade Kinafält och i vilken fysiologisk kondition de befinner sig i. Växterna position på fältet är delvis baserad på deras naturliga växtplats elevationsmässigt (väst-östligt riktning på fältet), och dels utifrån vilken akt i successionsordningen de infinner sig och kan konkurrera framgångsrikt (nord-sydlig riktning). Studien visar att majoriteten av växtmaterialet är i gott skick och bör vidare utvärderas för eventuell användning i södra Sverige..
