My thesis is a study of how the perception of booktalk aimed at Kids and youngsters in the Swedish educational system has changed between 1932 and 2007. A discursive reading of articles in the magazine Biblioteksbladet provides the basis for my investigation. The thesis argues that an older "authoritaritan" and "traditional" discourse has given way for a more modern, "anti-authoritaritan" and "lust"-directed discourse. The older discourse was designed to make sure that young people were provided with a certain well-defined quantity of "approved" literature. The new discourse stresses the importance of fostering Kids and youngsters with a positive and enthusiastic attitude towards reading in general.

Syftet med undersökningen var att undersöka vad dagens ungdomar har för värderingar och förväntningar till det kommande arbetslivet. Teorier tar upp ungdomsarbetsmarknaden som försvårar för ungdomarna att få arbete. Värderingarna bland ungdomarna har påverkats av deras uppväxt och ett individualiserat tankesätt har utvecklats. Arbetet ska innebära mer än bara en försörjning, det ska vara en del av identiteten. Det viktigaste på en arbetsplats är bra arbetskamrater och roliga arbetsuppgifter.

Det har här visat sig att erfarenhet hos medarbetare är en starkt bidragande faktor. För att få en ökad medvetenhet hos medarbetarna kan även chefens ledarstil komma att påverka, då denne överlag besitter viss kunskap gällande lagar och regler som delvis omfattas av arbetsrätten. Chefens ledarstil påverkar även medarbetarskapet och motivationen på arbetsplatserna.

Since the mid 60?s, Germany has seen dropping fertility rates and yet next to nothinghas been done to combat this trend until the current regime led by Angela Merkel andher minister of family affairs, Ursula von der Leyen initiated a number ofcomprehensive reforms of Germany?s family policies.Family policy in Germany is being reformed in three ways. Already in the late 1970´s it became clear that the traditional catalogs in libraries were not suited for children, neither their interests nor their way expressing themselves were accounted for. The goal of this thesis is to investigate if and how children?s OPACs (Open public access catalogs) interface design is at present adapted to the presumed audience of children. My method consists of literature studies and an investigation on the graphical interfaces in OPACs for children, according to the five criteria formulated by childrens library consultant Lena Lundgren and IT-consultant Kia Gumbel. The aims are to find out: a) what requirements for children?s OPAC interfaces and their usability are defined in literature and b) what the actual (real) features of the children?s OPAC interfaces are.

Vad anser föräldrarna om gruppbehandlingen och behandlingsupplägget?Studien är baserad på ett kvalitativt tillvägagångssätt och består av semistruktureradeintervjuer med sju föräldrar. Vår utgångspunkt är en syn på föräldraskapoch familj som något som görs, snarare än är, varför vi använder ett familjesociologisktperspektiv för att nå en djupare förståelse för föräldrarnas berättelser.De sammantagna resultaten pekar på att såväl föräldraskap som familjeliv påverkasnär ett barn drabbas av ångestproblematik. Genomgående beskriver föräldrarnahur familjens vardagsliv fick förändras och anpassas till följd av barnens svårigheter.Föräldrarna lyfter dessutom fram hur de i olika grad kommit att ifrågasättaoch omförhandla sitt föräldraskap i förhållande till barnets ångest och behandlingen.Samtliga föräldrar talar om Cool Kids i positiva ordalag, och beskriver hur barnensproblematik minskat i omfattning, vilket i sin tur bidragit till en ökad förståelseoch ett stärkt föräldraskap.

Abstract Background: Families with sick children are expressing the needs of accommodation near the hospital, in order to be close to their children and be together as a family.Aim: To investigate how parents experienced the hospitality and the environment at the Ronald McDonald House (RMH) in Uppsala and how they feel their children have experienced the stay.Method: Descriptive qualitative interview study. Five parents who lived with their family at RMH between 2013- 2014 have been interviewed with a semi-structured approach. A qualitative content analysis with an inductive approach according to Graneheim and Lundman (2003) was conducted on a manifest level.Results: RMH made the families? situation easier. RMH met their needs of a homelike environment where they could be themselves; be together and maintain everyday routines.

Child poverty in Sweden as a social phenomenon has been highlighted in various debates and in poverty research during the recent years. Children's economic vulnerability has gotten more place in research. An interest to highlight child poverty awakened and this study highlights child poverty through a resource perspective among children in preschools. This study aims to examine how preschool teachers perceive the child's assets to various resources as well as how preschool teachers perceive the impact of the preschool where they work on children's access to these resources. The study is qualitative and has used interviews as a tool.

Sammanfattning Urban Kids är ytterfunktionskläder för citybarn. Projektet har gått ut på att utveckla funktionskläder för höst och vintersäsong som står i kontrast till outdoor- och sportföretagens estetiska värde. Målgruppen är modeintresserade stadsföräldrar som inte drar sig för att betala det lilla extra för att få en produkt som går i linje med deras livsstil. Syftet med arbetet var att ta fram underlag för att visa att det går att göra tekniskt funktionella ytterfunktionskläder för barn som inte klär sig sportigt. Med hjälp av idégenereringar och en mood board, ett bildkollage för känslan som produkten ska utstråla, har ett koncept arbetats fram under stilnamnet ?rockig lekfullhet?.

Preschool's mission is to provide children with a rich environment that is enjoyable, and that arouses their interest to learn new skills. The socio-cultural context is part of the outdoor environment because we experience and perceive nature depends on the society we live in and how we interact togetherPurpose I want to see what kind of vision teachers and parents have on the outdoor environment when it comes to children's learning and development. I also want to find out how the teachers are using the outdoors environment and find out the parents' reason, when it comes to choice of preschool.Methodology The work is based on qualitative interviews with two teachers and two parents from each preschool.

AbstractThis study deals with NTA in preschool and the purpose of the study is to find out how the NTA project works out in practice. In the empirical study I have used questionnaires as a research method (Trost2001). Questionnaires have been sent to preschool teachers in the whole of Sweden to get as good a selection as possible. The responses received have been processed and analyzed. The results are reported below.The majority of the teachers thought it worked well to work with the NTA.
