In the future the Swedish pension system will face major problems. With an increasing aging population combined with a decreasing share of working population the financing of the pension system is becoming a bigger problem than previously predicted. This means the individual himself will have a bigger responsibility to invest money for their future retirement. It has been shown that a large proportion of the people who invests for their future pension have neither the interest nor the time to actively invest their pension capital. To make it easier for those who invest for their retirement, some Swedish banks have created so-called generation funds.

Study was based on five funds that are most similar and have the same mission. Detta arbete handlar om hur blivande sjöbefäls inställning till att arbeta under norskt avtal, IT-avtal och utländskt nettolöneavtal påverkades av hur resultatet av sjukersättning pensionsförmåner och föräldrapenning blir vid respektive avtal.Bakgrundsinformation samlades in från om de olika avtalen och därefter genomfördes intervjuer med blivande sjöbefäl som delgavs informationen och sedan fick svara på hur deras inställning påverkades.Utmärkande resultat är att den bästa ekonomiska förmånen påverkar inställningen mest positivt. Sjukersättning och pension påverkade inställningen mest eftersom det kan bli aktuellt när som helst (sjukersättning) och rör sig om stora belopp långt fram i tiden (pension). Föräldraförsäkringen påverkade inställningen mindre eftersom det är lättare att planera för och gäller en begränsad tid. Att vissa anser det vara en fördel att få bestämma själv över om och hur pensionsförsäkringen är uppbyggd medan vissa anser det vara en trygghet att staten sköter detta..

Self report question-naires were sent out to 102 patients who were given ReSound AIR during the year of 2006 in Uddevalla.

According to a micro perspective theory ofsocial capital the trust and reciprocity required and created by associations is important toexplain the disparity between institutional performance and socioeconomic development ofsocieties. The social patterns governing this therefore set a precedent for the future. Introduction: Every year about 450 women in Sweden are diagnosed with cervical cancer, almost 200 die and thousands undergo surgery because of cell changes in the cervix. A HPV infection can lead to cervical cancer and therefor costs for the society. The implementation of a vaccination program against HPV is a way to avoid these costs. Aim: The study aimed to calculate the economic impact of the HPV- vaccination program for children in Sweden through a cost-benefit analysis. Method: In this analysis, status quo was compared with non-administration of the HPV-vaccine for the selected cohort of ten-years-old girls in Sweden.

The sheer size of the archives makes retrieving information about a specific event difficult and causes a big problem. To solve this problem a more consistent use of metadata is needed. This resulted in an investigation about metadata and keyword genera-tion.The appointed task was to automatically generate keywords from transcribed radio shows. This included an investigation of which systems and algorithms that can be used to generate keywords, based on previous works.

The goal of this paper is to examine whether the introduction of a qualifying day in the use of sick insurance in the Swedish welfare system resulted in an increase in the use of parental benefits as substitute to avoid the qualifying day. We believe that this could be the case because of the higher gain from the welfare system. We use OLS to perform a linear regression from a data set from the data base LINDA during 1991-1996. The results in this paper are that there is a significant increase in the parental benefit after the reform although there is a negative trend for parental benefit during the examined period..
