This essay is about the religious change that Jing-cult underwent 600-1500 A.D. It is a historical-critical essay based on literature studies, using Ha?kan Rydving?s theory of religious change. In chronological order, it will go through the religious change from ancient Japan to the late Muromachi-period when Shinto was created. It describes the early temple- cult, buddhism's mission to Japan and how the Jingikan was created.

Emellertid överensstämmer inte alltid översättningen med den inhemska innebörden av begreppet. Syftet med denna uppsats är att analysera kamibegreppets semantiska spektrum i en specifik inhemsk religiös textsamling.

Den här uppsatsen behandlar ett konstnärlig projekt i vilken upphovsmannen arrangerade ett antal låtar ur afroamerikansk tradition för symfoniorkester. Syftet var att undersöka arbetsprocessen vid överföring av denna typ av musik till detta specifika medium. This essay comprises a study of the bridal crowns of Tjust, with respect to their national history, concept and aspect of mythological symbol. The tradition of bearing the parochial bridal crown is closely associated with religious medieval politics, and has also come to include elements of superstition and folklore. Attention is paid to these aspects dealing with the position of the bridal crown within current forms of tradition and culture and the impact on brides of this day and age. The aim of this study is to explore the approach and views on female genital mutilation(FGM) among young women from Somalia, and how they perceive the tradition afterimmigration to Sweden. This is structured under the following questions: What do theyknow about FGM? What are their experiences? And what do they reckon about FGMtoday? The study is based on one recorded interview with a group of young femalesfrom Somalia. The data were analysed using qualitative content analysis. The women?sfeelings were ambivalent though they on one hand opposed FGM because of serioushealth risks, but on the other hand were conscious of the tradition?s great influence inthe social network and daily life.

Examensarbetet har utförts vid KAMI AB i Kalix under hösten 2005 och våren 2006. Där tillverkas takpanneprofilerad takplåt och taktillbehör i plåt. Tillbehören och takplåten lackeras idag i samma anläggning, där lackeringen av tillbehören är den stora flaskhalsen. The success could probably, at least partly, be due to the Japanese narrative style (which in my own opinion is quite suitable and effective in horror films). Vårt examensarbete bestod i att för Kami AB i Kalix göra produktionsförbättringar i deras pressmaskin, som formar kuporna på takplåten. Kamis problem är att när plåten har matats genom pressen, ut på svängarmar för att sedan släppas ner på en rullbana, skadas plåten pga. den stora fallhöjden (ca 610 mm). Rullbanan har ej kunnat höjas upp därför att ett visst utrymme krävts för att operatören skall kunna utföra kontrollmätning av plåten dvs. mätning av kuplängd och kuphöjd.

Different ways of naming the two pitches between A and C exist in Sweden, Norway and Denmark. The Germanic tradition uses B and H, whereas the Anglo-Saxon tradition uses Bb and B. The aim of this study was to present a survey of the various opinions regarding these pitch names. The material consisted of different opinions about this matter from Swedish, Norwegian, and Danish websites. By means of discourse analysis the material was analysed in themes, which consisted of logic, tradition and communication.

This study deals with questions about male and female, power and church, related to the Mariologies of three prominent leaders in the Church of Sweden in the last century: Erling Eidem, Paulina Mariadotter and Cristina Grenholm. The mentioned topics are important for conservative High Church people as well as for radical feminists, and they are therefore necessary to address in the context of discussions about the church´s identity and the search of greater unity.Each Mariology is related to contemporary ideas about the relations between male and female, and to the tradition of the church as the leaders themselves see it. During the years 1920-2010 the relations between the sexes changed a lot as a result of the impact of modernity, which also affected how people perceived the relationship between the individual and the tradition/authorities. The present study concludes that there is a connection between Mariology and contemporary ideas about male and female. However, the Mariologist´s attitude to the tradition of the church seems to decide which perspective is allowed to dominate.
