The purpose of our study is to interpret and understand the collaborative process around a regional model that is based on state developed guidelines for people with dementia. We have chosen to focus on the importance of interaction and have therefore interviewed participants in the project's steering committee. This group participates in efforts to develop a model for dementia care in Halland.The project work in Halland, to develop a joint model for people with dementia and their families was initiated in the spring of 2011 and is due to finish at the end of 2012. The Halland model has been named ?Annas led? and is about Anna and her husband Lars and living with dementia.

The purpose of this study was to map the distribution of till-covered eskers in the inland of Västerbotten County in northern Sweden. The top layers of big eskers along the valleys of Öre River, Ume River and Vindel River were investigated through shallow digging. Findings were investigated through field assessment and soil analysis and many locations with till-covered eskers have been identified in Västerbotten's inland in this survey. The till covering the eskers has probably been transported only short distances and has its origins in glacifluvial material. The pattern is not consistent and there are areas where till does not cover the eskers.

The aim of this essay is to describe and analyse the legal complications that arise in connection with preliminary investigations involving several juvenile offenders, where all suspected persons have not attained the age of criminal liability. It is also intended to give a broad analysis of the concept preliminary investigation, with particular emphasis on juvenile offenders. It further analyses the legislation and legal complications on the basis of a rule of law perspective. The method previously used is court dogmatic, where in front law text, preparatory work, case law and legal doctrine have been used in order to present the existing sources relating to the subject matter of discussion. The criminal investigative bodies consider juvenile offenders are regulated under the Swedish RB 23 - 28 chapters, FUK and LUL.

Due to deficiency in dementia care, the government has commissioned the National Board of Health and Welfare to develop national guidelines for health care services to people with dementia and support for their relatives. It has been allocated stimulus funds that may be applied for to work on improvements in dementia care. In August 2010 these guidelines formed the basis for a decision made that collaboration would take place between the county and the municipalities regarding dementia care in Halland, named Anna's path. The aim of this study is to investigate, analyse and describe how our respondents in the project Anna?s path are planning and preparing for the implementation of the registry of quality BPSD - Behavioural and Psychological Symptoms of Dementia.

Syftet med denna studie är att ta reda på hur de utvalda modebutikerna arbetar med butikskommunikation och varuplacering för att påverka kundens köpbeslutsprocess. Vi vill även undersöka hur och om kunden är medveten om detta.Denna studie är utförd med kvalitativ metod med inslag av kvantitativ. Vi har använt oss av en abduktiv ansats och genom intervjuer med butikschefer samt kundintervjuer tillsammans med observationer av kunder i butik har vi arbetat fram vårt empiriska material. All insamling av data har skett i Kalmar bortsett från en mail-intervju med en butiks huvudkontor i Stockholm.Alla butiker använder sig av butikskommunikation på ett eller annat sätt. Då konsumenterna idag blir allt mer individualiserade tenderar de att vilja uträtta sina ärenden på egen hand.

The concerning issue of declining number of hunters in North America is also apparent in Europe and Sweden. When the bulk of research found on human dimensions and hunting participation has almost exclusively been done in the United States, this report seeks to add to the needed knowledge on a national level focusing on the causes of hunter declines related to social factors within Sweden. Using hunter data reaching from commune, county to National level, this report describes the correlation between a number of variables and the hunting participation in Sweden.The typical Swedish hunter lives in an area with low population density, the person usually has higher education, the living situation is stable with no recent moving and there is relatively good access to forest land. Persons with weaker connection to the Swedish culture such as foreign citizens, people with foreign background and people born outside ?the Nordic countries? are less likely to start hunt or participate in hunting.A strong relationship was found between the favorite game, moose (Alces alces), and the amount of hunters participating in the hunting.

Norra Kalmar län vill utveckla sitt arbetssätt i syfte att säkerställa kvalitet inom föräldrastödet för att svara mot föräldrars behov. Syfte: Utvärdering av föräldragrupperna bland förstagångsföräldrar. Metod: Retrospektiv tvärsnittstudie med kvantitativt ansats.

95% of the productive forest land in Sweden are now being exploited for forestry. The new Forestry Act of 1993 equate the goal of production and the environmental goal which means that the objective for forestry is a sustainable yield, while the biological diversity must be preserved. Recent years results from the inventories of the Board of Forestry show declining trends in how nature conservation aspects taken into consideration at the felling sites.The aim of this study is to investigate what happends with the nature consideration taken at felling sites in the long run. 20 final fellings in the county of Östergötland were re-inventoried 7-9 years after final felling. These felling sites had previously been inventoried before final felling (P0) and one year after final felling (P1) in the inventory Polytax by the Board of Forestry.

About a quarter of the Swedish land area is covered with shallow or thick peat. There is a potential to increase forest production in Sweden with almost 2 million m3/year in selected peatlands with low conservation values. This increase can be accomplished by drainage, complementary drainage, ditch maintenance operations and fertilization. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of knowledge regarding the management of forests on peatlands and was restricted to selected forest companies in Västerbotten County, with offices in Umeå. Three companies were chosen, SCA, Holmen and Norra Skogsägarna.

I takt med att det svenska tonnaget flaggas ut och förminskas söker sig allt fler nyexaminerade styrmän till andra marknader. Ett stort sådant segment är den norska offshoreindustrin. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka nyutexaminerade styrmäns upplevelser av oro och stress under första tiden som yrkesverksamma och om dessa upplevelser skilde sig åt beroende på vilken bransch de var verksamma i. För att undersöka detta användes en kvalitativ metod där personliga intervjuer genomfördes. Åtta styrmän, fyra från den traditionella svenska handelsflottan och fyra som är verksamma inom offshorebranschen, som tagit examen från Sjöfartshögskolan i Kalmar våren 2012, valdes slumpvis ut för intervjuer.

Syfte: Uppsatsen syftar till att förklara hur byggherreföretag investerar i konstnärlig gestaltning. Genom analysen besvaras undersökningsfrågorna som handlar om vilka investeringar och strategier som tillämpas av byggherrarna för konstnärlig gestaltning, samt vilka faktorer som påverkar deras beslut att arbeta med konst och kultur.Teoretiskt perspektiv: Studien görs ur ett företagsperspektiv med hjälp av teorier om hur olika värden kan genereras utifrån kulturen tillsammans med teorier om strategier, investering och beslutsfattande.  Metod: Vi har gjort en kvalitativ studie med en abduktiv ansats. Undersökningen är gjord som en explorativ fallstudie. I en kommun har vi valt tre verksamma byggföretag med pågående byggprojekt.

In Sweden, detailed development plans (DDPs) go through a screening process to decide whether their implementation could cause significant environmental impact or not. The criteria in the legislation were studied to see if an environmental impact assessment was needed. This study also investigated 26 DDPs from 12 out of 13 of the municipalities in Östergötland and how they meet up to the demands in relevant legislation, for example the rules for Environmental Impact Assessments. Plans that concerned suburban communities and new housing were selected. The environmental issues highlighted in the plan documents were compared to selected topics from the GIS data base 'Östgötakartan' to see if the assessments made by the municipalities were reasonable judged.

Denna studie har utgått från kvalitativa intervjuer med sju lärare från Kalmar län för att kartlägga lärarnas upplevelser och erfarenheter av IKT i engelskkundervisningen på gymnasiet. Det var undersökningens syfte att ta reda på varför lärarna väljer, respektive inte väljer att använda IKT i engelskundervisningen för att belysa lärarnas ställningstaganden ur både ett postmodernt och sociokulturellt perspektiv.Undersökningen visar att samtliga lärare använder IKT i engelskundervisningen samt är positivt inställda till användandet av denna. Resultatet indikerar dock att ålder, personlighet och intresse är betydande faktorer för till vilken omfattning som lärarna väljer att integrera IKT i sin undervisning samt gå på kompetensutveckling inom området. Resultatet indikerar även att lärarna upplever att det är tidskrävande att använda sig av IKT samt problematiskt när tekniken inte fungerar som den ska vilket kan leda till en intensifiering av lärares arbetstid. Vidare visar denna studie att majoriteten lärare använder sig av IKT i engelskundervisningen i form av ett verktyg för problemlösning och informationssökning och inte som en arena för kommunikation, samarbeten och kulturmöten..
