I arbetet som har pågått i nu mer än ett år har vi behandlat sådant som förutsättningar för ett sådant projekt, intresset därav från studenter, skola och näringsliv samt rent tekniska aspekter kring konstruktionen av en farygsmodell dess elektroniska och mekaniska system samt hur en sådan modell kan användas i utbildningen av elever. Även sådant som funderingar kring studenternas säkerhet i samband med konstruktionen av och kring användandet av modellen behandlas i detta arbete. Vi har använt oss av metoden ?Grundande Teori? och har kommit fram till att Sjöfartshögskolan i Kalmar har exceptionella och helt unika förutsättningar för att starta ett projekt där man bedriver utbildning med bemannade modeller..

Syftet med den här uppsatsen är att studera om den nya Arenan kan komma att vara en bidragande faktor till säsongsförlängning i Kalmar. Eftersom den nya Arenan inte ännu är färdigbyggd, vill vi undersöka beslutsfattares syn på projektet samt hur ett sådant projekt kan komma att påverka Kalmar som destination.För att kunna studera verkligheten, utan att styras av redan befintliga teorier, valde vi i vår studie att använda oss av en induktiv ansats. Den större delen av vår datainsamling grundas på kvalitativa intervjuer, vilka vi kompletterade med diverse rapporter och skrivelser på hemsidor.Vår slutsats i den här uppsatsen är att den nya Arenan kan bidra till säsongsförlängning om verksamheten maxas. För att detta ska vara möjligt bör samtliga beslutsfattare börja spela i samma lag, klara och tydliga mål med projektet måste sättas upp och fokus bör läggas på hur ett projekt av den här storleken kan gynna hela Kalmar som destination, inte enbart en av de inblandade aktörerna..

The purpose of this study was to investigate how the social services and the police co-operate with each other when they come into contact with an individual within their realms of influence. It has been shown in a report by Fridolf (2008) that co-operation is not the aim itself but used as a mean to reach for better processes and better results. We have used qualitative interviews in the study, where three social workers and three policemen have participated from the same municipality to answer our questions. To analyze our result we have used system theory and organization theory. The result of our study shows that within this specific municipality the two agencies co-operate very well.

I kursen VFU, verksamhetsförlagd utbildning, ingår det att skriva ett examensarbete på 7,5 högskolepoäng, detta är mitt arbete. Efter min praktik på Bygglovsavdelningen, Samhällsbyggnadskontoret, Kalmar kommun, fick jag idén att skriva om Kalmarförskolan. A current debate is going on in Sweden about the health-care organization, how it is structured today and how it should be structured in the future. Despite major changes in the county council structures, they still got problems with for instance economy and the providing of staff. As an answer to these problems new solutions are being developed.In this thesis I examine such a solution consisting of cooperation between county councils. The aim of the thesis is to examine how and why the county councils in Sörmland and Västmanland have made a decision regarding cooperation over the administrative border.My contribution is to construct a model over change and decision processes that can be used in other cases as well. The conclusion is partly that the decision to cooperate is built on changing structural factors, such as economy, demography and medical development.

Arbetet har för avsikt att utreda möjligheter och hinder som finns vad gäller profilering i Kalmar stad, samt vilka faktorer som påverkar och vad det kan ha för konsekvenser. Undersökning och kartläggning av profilering har gjorts för att avgöra hur Kalmar arbetar aktivt med stadens image, evenemang och varumärke. Tidigare forskning betraktar säsongsvariationer som ett problematiskt ämne där lösningen inte är enkel, trots den relativa mängden uppmärksamhet ämnet har medfört i litteraturen. The aim with the study has been to take to find out what young people has for view/opinion about the police. The theory acts about attitudes and opinions, and a short summary of what the law book says about young people that have been taken in by the police. Questionnaire survey was done on two different schools in three different classes; total were 49 young people that filled the questionnaire. T-tests, diagrams and mean were done in order to show the result. The results show that there were some young people that had a negative attitude opinion to the police.

AbstractThe purpose of this study were to examine the appeal that reaches the county administrative court regarding cases within The law of support and service to some disabled (LSS) the third "alternative" with the effort personal assistant. We have gathered 280 cases from seven different county administrative court and from our selection 19 of the cases remained.These 19 cases became our starting point for our study and they have been interpreted through Foucault´s and Skau´s interpretation frame regarding power and Payne´s social constructivism to try and answer our three questions at issue: How are the cases being handled by the county administrative court? What kind of cases leads to appeal? What similarity and differences are there between the cases? These questions have been answered one by one in a systematical order. Our result shows, among other things, that cases that involve certificates from occupational therapist or physiotherapist are the cases that win against the municipality in the county administrative court. Further we have found a new theme in our study regarding clientification among them who apply for efforts within LSS and "alternative" three.

This study aims to examine the effect the evaluation system used by the Stockholm County Council, has on how the healthcare providers themselves conduct the evaluation regarding their own operations. This is done through a qualitative case study of the evaluation systems of the Stockholm County Council and of four primary healthcare producers concerning one primary healthcare contract. The evaluation systems were analysed using Merchant and Ver der Stede's (2007) framework for different types of control. In order to give a more detailed picture this framework was complemented with different types of performance measurement. The evaluation that the Stockholm County Council conducts was found to have little influence on the providers own evaluation with the exception of the quality indicators that are rewarded with a monetary bonus..

This master thesis investigates how the county administrative boards communicate the regional risk and vulnerability analyses to municipalities in Sweden. Information has been gathered through a survey and through a case study involving three county administrative boards. The results revealed that there are possibilities to improve or develop the communication in all the county administrative boards. The information channels are often written or web based, these channels promote one way communication rather than a dialog. The thesis gives suggestion on how to work out a strategy for a more effective communication, the case study also gives ideas on how a county administrative board can work with communication..

This thesis represents my individual final research in Societal Risk Management. The aim of the study is to research whether the method called Responsible Beverage Serving has had the desired effect of diminished alcohol-related violence in Karlstad City, after its implementation into the ordinary operational agenda for Karlstad district in the county of Wermland. According to the method, the alcohol-related damages as well as alcohol-related violence in a society can be reduced by refusing to serve minors and clients who are excessively intoxicated.In order to be able to reach the aim of the thesis, the subsequent questions must be answered;Has excessive drinking reduced in the bars and clubs in Karlstad City?Has it become more difficult for minors to be served alcohol in the bars and clubs in Karlstad City?Has the police reported amount of assaults outdoors diminished regarding the alcohol-related violence in Karlstad City?This research is an intervention study and uses a quasi-experimental design. The intervention itself is the method called Responsible Beverage Serving.
