This study is about young girls' mental health. In Sweden, the mental health deteriorated in recent years among adolescents, particularly among young girls. Results of the Liv & Hälsa Ung in 2011 in the southern part of the county of Örebro is the basis for the study. The results of the survey showed that a remarkable number of young girls rate their mental health as poor. The purpose of this study was to examine what young girls in southern part of the county of Örebro County believes are contributing factors for good mental health and the method used is qualitative.

As the title reveals this is a study of female college students alcohol habits in Kalmar,Sweden. During the spring of 2012 a total of 118 female students at Linnaeus universityanswered a survey about their alcohol habits. The survey reveled that as many as 67%percent of the answering female students (according to Audit) have risky drinking habits.The drinking habits are explained using Albert Banduras social learning theory in contextto the Scandinavian drinking pattern. The study concludes that female alcohol habits needeven further research. Furthermore the study shows that student initiation have an impacton the female drinking habits and that expectations of that students drink are to some extentimportant to the development of hazardous drinking habits..

In health care today at Uppsala County Council the daily work involves spending time at the computer. IT-systems were implemented to support and aid the care givers in their work. Around these systems there is a support organization to support the users in using the system. The aim of this thesis is to investigate this organization in terms of how well it works and how successful it is in helping the users. This has been done by investigating the flow of information trough the organization and by focusing at the role of IT-coordinators with responsibility for support, process development, education and statistics.

The authors of this thesis have studied the handling of personal information in various kinds of organizations, because the perception is that the knowledge in this area is weak relative to the weight of the subject.The purpose of this paper has been partly to shed light on how knowledge of this area in the organizations that we have visited during the study but also to answer questions about handling, knowledge and security, and identification of individuals in different systems. What kind of problems the processing of these data creates and why these problems occur.In the beginning of our study we understood the importance of using the correct identifier and therefore chose also to examine what the various identifiers used by the organizations and why they chose these particular identifiers.In the qualitative analysis, Datainspektionen´s general rules and advice has been used as a basis together with the laws applicable to the organizations to get a good picture of how management of personal information is in these organizations.What we have found in this paper is that knowledge about how personal data is handled and what laws and rules are saying is very much dependent on how central the information is to these organization's activities. The police use so many different types of records for their organization to function well and they have very good knowledge of laws and regulations. In contrast, schools that do not handle as much of personal data themselves nor have the same knowledge among staff and do not have enough resources to cope with keeping the same knowledge base as the police. This is something that applies to all types of handling, depending on how important the information is for the organization, the better the security and knowledge in handling the data is..

This is a case study about the effects that disasters have on social work. The case in question is the fire in Berga village, Kalmar, which took place the 12: th of October 2011. The aim of this study is to describe the ways in which Kalmar worked crime preventive towards young people before the fire and after. The study also aims to specify if, and how the disaster affected the crime preventive work with young people. In this study we define the fire like a disaster and disaster has the ability to create changes in policy.

Inledning: Detta är ett examensarbete på 20 poäng inom Programmet för Fysisk planering, vid Blekinge Tekniska Högskola i Karlskrona. Arbetet innefattar en Robusthetsanalys över Djurängen och Rinkabyholm i Kalmar kommun efter en metod framtagen av Expertgruppen för säkerhet och förvaltning, ny- och ombyggnad. Arbetet har utförts i grupp om två studenter. Analysen grundar sig på fördjupade studier inom olika ämnesområden, vilka presenteras i sårbarhetsbedömningen del 2 kapitel 3. Den individuella delen avser fördjupningarna i nämnda kapitel.

AbstractThe aim of this study is to describe similarities and differences in the inscriptions of runestones intoday's county of Kronoberg, the former county of Värend and, in addition, a part of the formercounty of Sunnerbo. The study is based on 27 remaining runestones which are analysed throughchoice of words and runes, orthography and decorations.The section of choice of words and runes are categorised and based on the choice of choosingone particular word over another and of choosing one particular rune over another. Orthography isbased on the spelling of five particular words; efter, sten, reste, hjälpe and och. Monophtongisationis discussed and analysed. The section of decorations has two subsections; 1) crucifixes and?suns?, and 2) other forms of decoration.The study showed that the runestones had some significant numbers of similarities anddifferences.

 Vi tilldelades detta projektet av Kalmar Sjöfartshögskola. Projektet var att tillverka en bullerkarta för skolfartyget M/S Calmare Nyckel. Då skolfartyget inte överskrider 500 bruttoton krävs ej en bullerkarta enligt Sjöfartsverket, men det fanns en förfrågan och önskan från skolan att tillverka en för utbildningssyfte och få en praktisk anknytning. Vid dem mätningarna som krävdes ombord rättade vi oss efter ISO 2923:1996(E) samt Sjöfartsverkets författningssamling 2005:23 vid tillverkning av bullerkartan. Skolan tillhandahöll oss med godkänd mätutrustning samt mätprotokoll.

The objective of this study was to contribute with suggestions of nature preservation managements of selected forest objects of high nature values managed by the Swedish state-owned forest company Sveaskog. Many forests with high natural potential are relatively rare today due to modern forestry, where wood production is the main purpose. Sveaskog?s policy is to consider and to priority nature conservation on valuable objects. This assessment includes objects that in the future may develop into nature reserves.

Det finns ett ökat medvetande om de effekter som turismen medför och för att undvika de negativa effekter som kan uppstå präglas utvecklingen alltmer av ett hållbart och långsiktigt tänkande. Ekoturism är en form av turism som växt fram med utgångspunkt i en sådan filosofi. Den innebär ett förhållningssätt samt även en utvecklingsmodell som strävar efter att gynna destinationen och skapa en lokal ekonomisk tillväxt. De principer som definierar ekoturismen kan ofta identifieras i den samtida planerings- och utvecklingsfilosofin. Studiens syfte är att undersöka hur de principerna kan integrera i utvecklingen på en destination som Kalmar län.Undersökningen utgår från en deduktiv ansats och med en teoretisk utgångspunkt har jag fördjupat mig i den tidigare forskningen för att finna samband där de båda begreppen ekoturism och destinationsutveckling kan ses integrera med varandra.

Denna uppsats syftar till att finna förklaringsfaktorer till varför inflytandeforum för unga inte fungerar i vissa svenska kommuner men fungerar i andra. Metoden som har valts är en jämförande fallstudie. De kommuner som valts ut är Kalmar och Lunds kommun, där Kalmar kommun representerar den kommun där inflytandeforumet för unga har fått läggas ner och Lunds kommun representerar den kommun som har ett fungerande inflytandeforum för unga. Uppsatsen har sin teoretiska grund i demokrati- och maktteori. Undersökningens material bygger mestadels på samtalsintervjuer, där en politiker, en kontaktperson (tjänsteman) och en ungdom från varje kommun har intervjuats.Resultatet visar att det kring inflytandeforumens startande råder ganska lika förhållanden, de har ungefär samma syften och mål, initiativtagare har i båda fallen varit ungdomarna och engagemanget från politiker och ungdomar har varit liknande.

The purpose of the present thesis is to investigate the interaction between the branches in the different villages and its users and the importance of the branches for democracy. To illustrate these points, I have focused on Högsby municipality, a local council in Kalmar county. Högsby municipality is of particular interest in this connection, since all seven of the branches have been closed recently; only the main library remains. Moreover, three of the closed branches were, in 2005, taken over by citizen organizations local to the part of Högsby municipality where the libraries were located. The specific issues that were addressed were:- What needs were satisfied by the local libraries in Högsby council and is it possible to satisfy these needs in other ways and then, how?- Does the absence of a local library affect democracy?Interviews were performed.

I dagens samhälle krävs stora mängder bergmaterial för att infrastruktur och byggnationer av olika slag ska kunna utföras, samtidigt ses naturgrus som en allt mer värdefull resurs där uttagen måste minska. Det finns alltså ett stort behov av bergkross som är det naturliga ersättningsmaterialet till naturgrus och intresset för att använda reststen från blockstensbrytning har i och med det ökat.Täktverksamheten i Kalmar län har gamla anor och syftet med den här studien var att inventera och dokumentera den reststen som finns i gamla och befintliga täkter. Reststensupplagen har sedan med hjälp av uppsatta kriterier klassats efter deras olika värden. Modellen som utarbetats är också tänkt som ett hjälpmedel vid framtida reststensinventeringar.23 stycken potentiella reststenstäkter inventerades varav elva stycken visade sig vara exploaterbara. Sju stycken var av mycket stort exploateringsvärde och fyra stycken visade sig vara exploateringsvärda.

The aim of this study is to describe and analyse how young men who have participated in a riot describe their life-situations regarding to their relations to the police, their neighbourhood, employment, the background to the riots and how they use hip-hop as a resistance to subordination. The study is conducted through three semi-structured qualitative group interviews and to some extent field studies. The theoretical points of departure are Slavoj Zizeks theory of violence, which is divided into subjective, symbolic and systemic violence, and subcultural theory. The results of the study show that the young men in their daily life are exposed to by both systemic and symbolic violence, feel secure within their neighbourhood and find themselves harassed by the police. A major finding is that the riot primarily can be understood as an act to get society conscious of their situations, while they found themselves marginalised, lacking employment and youth club.

The aim is to increase the understanding of how social security is linked to man's immediate environment and are influenced by the physical environment. Important concepts that are explained in the paper are social security, prostitution, and physical planning.This study deals with theories about the factors that may influence why criminality localized to a specific area, such as legislation, urban planning and community. The study conducted interviews with the Gothenburg Police, Västra Götaland County Administrative Board, Gothenburg City, Stadsmissionen and Mikamottagningen.
